Kokoru (spelled &quot;Cocoloo&quot; in the subtitles of the ADV Films release) is a soft-spoken young woman who becomes Yucie&#039;s friend very early in the series. She is a fellow student at the Princess Academy  ~!(later revealed to be the Princess of the Spirit World)!~, who wears tiny spectacles at the end of her nose, with her chief characteristics being self-effacing and gentle.     Cocoloo is so gentle that she is often ignored and talked-over by the much louder Yucie and Glenda, which causes Kokoru to lament that she &quot;has no presence after all&quot;  ~!(Which is rather ironic, as Cocoloo is the princess of the Spirit World)!~.     However, Cocoloo is amazingly kind and encouraging towards her friends, which makes an impression on everyone who gets to know her. She, too, suffers from a curse that makes her look ten, even though she is seventeen.   

Seventeen-year-old Yucie can never be taken seriously. How can she, when she's been cursed to be trapped in a ten-year-old's body? Bright, cheerful and optimistic, Yucie has never let her curse get in the way of living a happy life. Her life is about to change forever when she becomes a candidate to become the Platina Princess, an honor which will allow her ultimate wish to be granted! Then she finds out that she is one of many candidates, and the competition is intense!

Monika is a playwright and actor from the Texas area. On television, Monika has voice acting work in several different anime roles for ADV Films, including Cocoroo in Petite Princess Yucie, Kisaragi in Happy Lesson, and Kasumi in Sakura Wars. She also had roles in several different independent films, including a bit role in Idiocracy by Mike Judge.    Outside of TV, Monika is a highly-acclaimed theatre writer and actor in the Austin Texas area. She is the Co-Artistic Director of Shrewd Productions; several of her plays have been nominated for or… More have won awards. She works regularly with the groups Hyde Park Theatre Core, Refraction Arts, and Austin ScriptWorks. She has also performed with Salvage Vanguard, UT Austin, Vassar Powerhouse, and the Austin Shakespeare Festival.

There is a legend that the gods granted the hero a task, which is to raise a little girl into something extraordinary. In this story, this young girl is Yushi, a 17-year-old girl that has been put under a spell: her body stopped aging ever since she was ten years old. She has been selected as a candidate to become the next Puchi Puri Princess. The girl selected to be princess will receive a magical tiara which grants the wearer anything she wants. This means that if Yuushi becomes princess she can wish her spell away! However, the competition is stiff and Yuushi still looks like a 10-year-old girl. 
Note: This manga details the beginning journey of Yushi becoming a candidate and attending an academy where she will be trained the modesty of being a potential Puchi Puri Princess. The story is to be continued in the anime version of this title.
