Mine is a self-proclaimed "Genius Sniper", as well as being a sharp-tongued and quick-witted member of the assassin's group, Night Raid. She is often quick to anger, and easily irritated with those she does not know well. Despite this cold exterior, she has shown to be warm and kind to those she has opened up to.  Mine wields a powerful Teigu in the form of a rifle called the "Roman Artillery: Pumpkin" that fires highly concentrated piercing shots of spirit energy. Her proficiency in its use allows her to strike any target with extreme precision. When Pumpkin's user is in a dangerous situation, the power of its shots is​ magnified.

She is a popular Japanese singer-songwriter and voice actress (seiyuu), currently affiliated with Amuleto (as seiyuu) and with King Records (as songstress). Affectionately called Yukarin by her fans, she is also known for her soft voice and interest in Lolita fashion. She made her debut as a voice actress in 1997, releasing her debut single Yuuki wo Kudasai on March 26, 1997.
While also a well-known seiyuu, several of her releases have been used as opening and ending themes for anime series, while some have reached the Oricon top 100 singles and album charts. Her role as Takamachi Nanoha in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series contributed to a rise in her popularity, as several of her singles (Little Wish: Lyrical Step, Spiritual Garden, Hoshizora no Spica, Beautiful Amulet) were used as the ending themes for the franchise's anime adaptations.

A special 100-page bonus volume bundled with the limited editions of the anime Blu-ray/DVD volume 1 set.  It contained two side story chapters about Bulat and Sheele, and the opening pages contained a crossover with Isshuukan Friends. It was later rereleased as a standalone tankobon with two new chapters.
