Planet R's luminous existence is maintained by four magical Crystals, each regulating a different essential element: Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. Long ago, sinister dark forces stole the Crystals and threatened to destroy the Planet. But, the courageous heroes fought desperately and defeated the dark forces to restore the planet to its peaceful state.<br>

Two hundred years later - the great fight has been long forgotten and again, three Crystals have been stolen. The young descendants of the ancient heroes, Linaly and Prettz, are all that remain to protect the Crystal of Wind from the evil forces. If the two can managae to escape from Rouge - the leader of a leather-bound army of female pirates, they must still pass through the many dangerous obstacles that protect the magical crystal. Rika Matsumoto is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer, as well as one of the founders of [JAM Project](https://anilist.co/staff/102041/).

After early stage work, she began both voice acting and singing careers. The most popular role by Rika is [Satoshi](https://anilist.co/character/2473/) (Ash Ketchum in English translations), the main character of the anime series [Pokémon](https://anilist.co/anime/527/). She also had a role in the [Yu-Gi-Oh](https://anilist.co/anime/550/) series as [Ryou Bakura](https://anilist.co/character/1488/) and [Yami Bakura](https://anilist.co/character/1489/). As such, Matsumoto has taken on roles for young boys. Matsumoto also performs the songs for many of the openings for the Japanese Pokémon anime.

Matsumoto has had lead or supporting roles in dozens of series. She has also had a radio show in Japan and does some dubbing work for translations of American films and TV series into Japanese. She announced in April 2008 she was taking time off from the group and her solo work.

Her name is also sometimes romanized as Rica Matsumoto.

He dubbed [Inuyasha](https://anilist.co/anime/249) for the first 26 episodes, then contractual questions forced dubbing staff of Dynamic Italia to change casting roles and give his one to [Francesco Pezzulli](https://anilist.co/staff/165553). He dubbed Kurz Weber in the first two seasons of Full Metal Panic!, but then again his role was left to [Francesco Pezzulli](https://anilist.co/staff/165553) because of contractual issues (that meanwhile denied him to dub Kaworu Nagisa in Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion, altough he dubbed him in Neon Genesis Evangelion).
