Kate is a transfer student from Canada, and a member of class 1-10 as well as the art club.  She speaks Japanese quite well, and likes to show off her ability to write Kanji by writing almost everything in it. She has a bright and cheerful personality, and becomes friends with Aso very quickly. She has a Persian cat, named Buchi.

Sora Kajiwara is a shy first year who joined the art club at her school. Sora slowly becomes less shy as she befriends everyone in the art club. She also grows artistically and learns how to sketch the beautiful world around her... and cats!

Sora is a quiet girl who finds her niche in the high school art club. When she isn't out capturing images of the neighbourhood in her trusty sketchbook, she can almost certainly be found befriending the local cats.
