Kurumi is the third spirit who appeared after [Tohka](https://anilist.co/character/65259) and [Yoshino](https://anilist.co/character/70603). She has a split personality: that of a gentle, mysterious highschool girl with a slow talking pattern, and that of a psychopathic killer. She is very aggressive in her actions which makes it harder for [Shidou](https://anilist.co/character/65257) to capture her.

The reason why she keeps appearing after being killed by [Mana](https://anilist.co/character/72283) countless times was because of her powers. For example, she can heal herself by turning back the time. She uses a gunblade as her weapon. Though she always keeps getting killed by Mana, Kurumi from a different time period appeared and was considered as the most deadly of all took down Mana, Tohka, and [Origami](https://anilist.co/character/65261) at near end of volume 3. It is said that her ultimate goal is to get the powers of the spirit inside Shidou to kill the very first spirit who appeared 30 years ago to make all spirits disappear from this world. Her angel is destroyed by [Kotori](https://anilist.co/character/65263) in volume 4.!~

Thirty years before a strange phenomena called a "spacequake" devastated the center of Eurasia, claiming the lives of at least 150 million people. Since then, smaller spacequakes plague the world on an irregular basis. Shidou Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spacequake and learns from his sister Kotori she is one of the "Spirits" who are the real cause of the spacequakes that occur when they manifest themselves in the world. He also learns that Kotori is the captain of the airship Ratatoskr and recruits him to make use of his mysterious ability to seal the Spirits' powers and stop them from being a threat to mankind. However, there is a catch: to seal a Spirit, he must make her fall in love with him.

The third season of Date A Live. 
 
Itsuka Shidou's life has been a whirlwind as of late. Or more precisely, a spatial quake. Several of them, in fact. Powerful "Spirits" from other dimensions that take the form of girls are unintentionally causing these spatial quakes in his reality. And Shidou is the only one who can stop them with his unique ability: kissing them! By having the girls kiss and fall deeply in love with him, their devastating quake powers are sealed. The alternative to romancing them is to have a more militant and technological organization called the AST (Anti-Spirit Team) destroy the Spirits, something Shidou is vehemently against.
 
So far in the story, six Spirits have fallen for Shidou (as well as a few others). The girls compete with one another and vie for his affection, leaving him no end of headaches and misadventures. But a new challenger approaches.

Despite the numerous challenges he has overcome so far, Shidou Itsuka's mission with Ratatoskr is far from over. In a departure from his daily routine, Shidou encounters a starving woman lying on the street and ends up helping her. After the two arrive at her apartment, the woman introduces herself as Nia Honjou—a popular manga artist working under a pen name. However, cutting straight to the chase, Nia reveals that she is also a Spirit and is aware of Shidou's secret operation. 
 
Interested in seeing his charisma firsthand, Nia challenges Shidou to win her over on a date. As he strives for an opportunity to seal her powers, Shidou learns more about Nia and her history with Deus Ex Machina Industries, a name he is all too familiar with...

The fifth season of Date A Live.
 
Shidou Itsuka faces greater peril than ever due to his continued involvement with Ratatoskr. He has already sealed 10 Spirits, and Isaac Westcott, leader of Deus Ex Machina Industries, has finally decided to kill Shidou and plunder the Spirits' powers for himself.
 
To achieve his goal, Isaac declares an all-out war against Ratatoskr, forcing the organization to exhaust its resources to ensure Shidou's survival. Despite being severely outnumbered and outmatched, a glimmer of hope exists in the form of the Spirit of Time, Kurumi Tokisaki. Shidou must seal and acquire Kurumi's power to travel to the past and confront the Spirit of Origin—the catalyst that started it all.

On the day of the Tanabata festival, Shidou Itsuka happens to meet the eerie Kurumi Tokisaki, who proceeds to ask him out on a date. Although nervous, Shidou accepts the offer. The two spend their time visiting a planetarium, buying food at the festival, and trying out a mock wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, Shidou's friends—Tohka Yatogami, Yoshino, and Kotori Itsuka—are looking for him, while also enjoying the festival themselves. 
 
As Shidou spends the day with Kurumi, he begins to notice an unexpected softer side of her. He knows that Kurumi is infamously called the "Worst Spirit," but the girl standing before him is a gentle soul. However, as the day draws to a close, Shidou finally begins to understand the truth behind it all.

Set in the premise after the events of Date a Live II, a mysterious existence named Mayuri has started to appear in Tengu City. Shidou set on a date to figure and find out the identity of the spirit. In order to find out the reason of the interruption of the disturbance that occurred, he goes on a date with six of the spirits that wanted him all for themselves for the mysterious being to appear.

When a team arrives to eliminate the threat, Shidou becomes embroiled in a war to protect these spirits-by making them fall in love with him?!

While Tohka experiments with the new cellphone she got from Kotori, Origami approaches Shidou and demands a date with him. Unable to refuse, Shidou is assisted by the Fraxinus crew to ensure that their date becomes a total failure but all his attempts to ditch her are futile... 
 
Some time later, Shidou has a date in the arcade with Tohka and when he asks to take a picture with her, she refuses and enters the photo cabin by herself instead, giving him a picture of hers that she claims is for his eyes only...
