Blue is a sneaky, cunning, intelligent, but also very kind trainer. She often uses her looks to her advantage, but is also a very skilled battler. At the start of her journey, she stole a Squirtle from Professor Oak, and encounters Red and Green many times as she travels Kanto in the RGB chapter.   

~!At the age of five, Blue was kidnapped by Ho-Oh, who was under the command of the Mask of Ice. She was brought to his lair along with other children whom he was going to train to be his faithful servants. Here she met and developed a very close bond with Silver. The two escaped and Blue went to Kanto while Silver went to Johto, so they could gather information on the Mask of Ice, as they still kept in close contact. Since she was kidnapped by a giant bird at a young age, Blue developed a severe ornithophobia which was only cured at the end of the GSC chapter when she captured the three legendary birds to use against the Mask of Ice. Professor Oak noted that Blue's special skill is evolving Pokémon, and gave her the name of "Evolver" when she received her Pokédex. Her title is a homophone to Silver's (the "Exchanger")  in the Japanese version. Silver got Blue her current outfit at the beginning of the FRLG chapter.!~

This chapter features the journeys of Gold through Johto trying to at first search for the ones who stole his backpack and uncovers that the ones who stole his backpack are planning something. Two other new Trainers come into the plot of the story, Silver, whose life is tied in with the villains of this series, and Crystal, an average Pokémon Trainer with a staggering talent in catching Pokémon who later helps Professor Oak catch all the Pokémon to complete his Pokédex. Along with these three, the original 3 Pokédex holders come back to help these three along with Yellow. With their aid, will Gold be able to stop the reformed Team Rocket and the Masked Man's nefarious schemes?

This chapter returns to the characters of Red, Green, and Blue, protagonists of the original Red, Green & Blue chapter of Pokémon Adventures. Red and Blue are forced to explore the Sevii Islands to look for Professor Oak who was kidnapped by a Deoxys. Meanwhile, Green has finally located her parents; however, just as she is about to meet them, they are swallowed up by a mysterious black hole. Red, Green, and Blue must locate the missing relatives with the help of a former foe, Lorelei, and Mewtwo while defeating Team Rocket again at the same time. Back in Kanto, Silver is seeking his parents as well, with the help of Yellow.

The chapter follows Gold, who gets in a battle with Arceus, as he searches for the missing Lance. Elsewhere, Team Rocket has resurfaced, which causes Silver to set out and stop them once more. The chapter begins with focus on a Trainer named Emerald, who is sent by Professor Oak and Crystal to catch Jirachi within seven days. On arrival at the Battle Frontier, he accidentally interferes in the opening ceremonies and gains the second challenge of clearing the seven Facilities by defeating the Frontier Brains within that time. During this time, Emerald befriends Todd Snap and discovers that the masked Guile Hideout is seeking Jirachi for evil purposes.
