D'Arby is an expert and inveterate gambler and his Stand, Osiris, can steal souls. He is a member of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods and meets the Joestar Group in Cairo. Here, he tricks them into wagering their souls in various gambles. D'Arby is also Telence T. D'Arby's older brother.

Daniel J. D'Arby exhibits an affable but sly, knowing character. D'Arby first and foremost character trait is his love of gambling. He states that he lives for the thrill of gambling (which he recognizes as worthless). This love of gambling is complemented by his enjoyment for cheating, and he proudly admits that cheating is one of his greatest skills shamelessly rigging every game he's seen participating to while justifying himself by claiming that if the cheat isn't exposed, it is "fair" game.

After 30 days of travel across the world, plagued with countless battles, Jotaro and his companions have finally arrived in Egypt! Now only the strongest "Stand" users remain to rebuff our heroes' final march on Cairo: The Nine Egyptian Gods, Dio's most zealous servants. Will the Joestar line fall to the monstrous vampire, or can Jotaro defeat Dio and save his mother's life?

Kujo Jotaro is a normal, popular Japanese high-schooler, until he thinks that he is possessed by a spirit, and locks himself in prison. After seeing his grandfather, Joseph Joestar, and fighting Joseph's friend Muhammad Abdul, Jotaro learns that the "Spirit" is actually Star Platinum, his Stand, or fighting energy given a semi-solid form. Later, his mother gains a Stand, and becomes sick. Jotaro learns that it is because the vampire Dio Brando has been revived 100 years after his defeat to Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro's great-great-grandfather. Jotaro decides to join Joseph and Abdul in a trip to Egypt to defeat Dio once and for all.

Kenji Utsumi was a Japanese actor and voice actor affiliated with the self-founded Ken Production. He was married to fellow voice actress [Michiko Nomura](https://anilist.co/staff/101463/) until his death.

Set between the events of *Stardust Crusaders* and *Diamond is Unbreakable*, ten years after DIO's demise, the story follows Hol Horse, who has since returned to his job as a mercenary. After accepting a job from the mother of Pet Shop's owner - tracking down a parrot who was raised alongside the falcon - and teaming up with a reluctant Boingo for one more gig, he arrives in Morioh, where he is faced not only with Josuke, who at this point is still learning the ins and outs of his Stand, but Kakyoin's mourning cousin, Ryoko. Written and presented as the lost transcript of Dio's Diary, featured in Stone Ocean. In the book, he reflects upon his battles throughout the original series, describes his ideals and plans for "obtaining heaven" and talks about the concept of death, as well as his unfortunate mother.

A novel adaptation of JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Crazy Diamond no Akuryouteki Shitsuren, expanding upon plot points that the writer had to omit in the manga due to time constraints.
