An Okinawan-American US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, George is one of the soldiers present when Saya goes insane in Vietnam, killing friends and enemies alike. One of the few survivors, he is asked by the first David to watch over Saya&#039;s sleeping body after she falls into another hibernation cycle. He lost his wife and biological children in an accident years before, but is inspired to live by the sound of Saya&#039;s heart beating in her cocoon. When she wakes up from her sleep and he sees she is no longer a threat, he adopts her as his daughter. By this time, he also has two adopted sons, Kai and Riku, and he runs a restaurant-bar called Oboro, in Okinawa.     ~!While protecting Saya, he is attacked by a chiropteran. Houchuu Ootsuka is a Japanese voice actor and narrator affiliated with the talent management firm Crazy Box. 

He is best known for his roles as the voices of Kyao Mirao in Heavy Metal L-Gaim; Yazan Gable in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam; Akira Sendō in Slam Dunk; SignalMan in Gekisou Sentai Carranger; Imagin, Deneb in Kamen Rider Den-O, Abuto in Gintama, Makoto Sōda in Captain Tsubasa and Jiraiya in Naruto. He is also known for dubbing for Jean-Claude Van Damme, Donnie Yen (especially in Ip Man series), Jeff Goldblum, Ray Liotta, Tim Robbins, John C. McGinley, Brent Spiner, Robert Patrick and many more. He was also the first dubbing voice actor of Kiefer Sutherland and Christopher Lambert in their early days.

Saya, the main character, lost her memory and has been living with her adopted family. Her everyday life seems quite normal, except that she eats a lot more than she actually needs. Then one day she meets a guy named Hagi in a park. She is told that he has been searching for her, for a long time. Since then, her normal life has changed completely. (This manga series is proceeding quite a bit differently from the anime)
