Soon after Cromartie students board a plane to go on a field trip, a group of masked men decide to hijack the plane and hold the passengers hostage on the tarmac.  This man was one of those hijackers.  In an attempt to get off the plane ASAP (and ease his motion sickness), Yutaka Takenouchi urges the hijackers to make outlandish demands including 100,000,000 yen and escaping with the plane to America.  To everyone&#039;s surprise, the Japanese authorities cooperate fully with the hijackers and submit to their demands...even the escape to America.    During the commotion, the Cromartie High students and (unknown to all involved) one of the hijackers are released as hostages, while Yutaka Takenouchi is mistaken as one of the hijackers and is taken to America.  As a show of appreciation, the lone hijacker who escaped takes on the real Yutaka Takenouchi&#039;s identity.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? 
 
The only thing for certain is that for Kamiyama, Cromartie High School is his reality. And what a surreal reality it is. 
 
Because this is where the toughest, meanest (and often dumbest) students are sent to do time. At Cromartie, purple-mohawked bruisers and pencil-chomping street thugs are just part of every day life. And so is a 400-pound gorilla. And a macho brute named Freddie who travels with his own theme music. And, of course, Mechazawa, the student voted most likely to need an oil change. So pack your bags, put on your best tough-guy swagger, and get a lesson in insanity from the hilarious losers at Cromartie High. This is one class you won't ever want to cut.

Takaya Kuroda is a Japanese actor and voice actor affiliated with Axlone. And the lead singer of the rock band Takaya Kuroda & Goodfellas.

He is best known for his bass voice, which has usually seen him cast in villainous roles. Because of his vocal resemblance to the late [Hirotaka Suzuoki](https://anilist.co/staff/95572/), he was chosen to replace Suzuoki as the voice of [Starscream](https://anilist.co/character/3913/) in Transformers as Suzuoki's health deteriorated.

To the western audiences he is probably most known for providing the voice of Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the Yakuza video game series. Kuroda is also the man who sings the famous "Baka Mitai" song related to the series.

George Edmond Manley is an American voice artist, adaptation writer, novelist and screenplay writer. He attended San Jose State University, majoring in theatre arts, University of Nevada, Reno, majoring in journalism and holds his associate of science degree in Computer Information Systems from Morrision University and trained at San Francisco's Voice One Studio and with Braintracks Audio's Nancy Wolfson in commercial and character voiceover.    Manley has performed voice work for several ADV Films productions, including Francesco in the second volume of Noir; Impact, the giant robot in Legend of the Mystical Ninja; Hyugi Zeravire from Super Heavyweight God Gravion Zwei; Barba from Hakugei: Legend of The Moby Dick; and the English-language narrator for Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman.    Additionally, he has written adaptation scripts for the last six episodes of Gantz, and is the series writer for the newest adaptation of Super Dimension Fortress Macross, 009-1, Coyote Ragtime Show, Pumpkin Scissors and Kadokawa USA's Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid.    Manley was encouraged to become a voice artist after meeting and receiving encouragement at the 2002 FanimeCon from voice artist Amanda Winn-Lee; voice artist Tiffany Grant and her husband ADV Films president Matt Greenfield.    Manley is also an on-air personality for Houston's Taping For The Blind Radio (now known as Turning Sight Into Sound Radio), currently reading the Houston Chronicle and Sports Illustrated on a weekly basis.
