In December of 1970, Takemiya published a short story, "Sunroom Nite", under the original title "Yuki to Hoshi to Tenshi to" (雪と星と天使と) in Bessatsu Shoujo Comic. It is possibly the first shounen-ai manga published and contains the earliest known male-male kiss in shoujo manga.

The manga volume consists of five shorter stories: 
1. Sunroom Nite (サンルームにて, 1970) 
2. Hohoemu Shounen (ほほえむ少年, 1972) 
3. 20 no Hiru to Yoru (20の星と夜, 1973) 
4. Star! (スター！, 1974) 
5. Mister no Kotori (ミスターの小鳥, 1975)
