When cat spirit Luo Xiaohei's home is deforested by humans, he must find a new one. The story begins on a rainy night, when a homeless little black cat is brought home by a young girl Luo Xiaobai. She names the cat Luo Xiaohei. However, Luo Xiaohei is no ordinary cat: he is a supernatural entity that hosts several small creatures called Heixiu. As Luo Xiaohei new life soon threatened by the mysterious Diting, who commands three winged wolves.

On a rainy night, an abandoned black kitten on the street was brought home by a young girl named Luo Xiaobai, and she named the kitten Luo Xiaohei. Luo Xiaohei is not an ordinary cat, it is human-like, knows how to use the toilet, refuses to eat cat food, and its long tail can even split into minions named "black shoo". Meanwhile, the mysterious character named "Shimeji", sent out three winged wolves to search for Luo Xiaohei. Soon, Luo Xiaobai took Xiaohei to the countryside to visit her cousin Gen and grandfather, which led to various strange and mysterious events.
