Once upon a time, there was Winter. Winter was once the only season in the world—but such an existence was too lonely to bear, and so it created Spring to love. Before long, the earth wished for more time to rest in the cycle, and Summer and Autumn were born. The ones who carry the cycle are called the Agents of the Four Seasons. Hinagiku, the Vernal Agent, disappeared from this land ten years ago, taking the season of spring with her. Now, after incredible hardship, she has returned to restore the cycle to its proper state—and, as in the myth passed down since the dawn of time, she sends her love to Winter.

A young girl lives on the northern tip of the Yamato archipelago in the land of Enishi. Her name is Kaya Fugeki, a descendant of the family that serves the Agents of the Four Seasons who has now found herself ascended to take on similar responsibilities as them. She is the one who brings day to Yamato-the Archer of Dawn. The young goddess mingles with the commonfolk as she attends school, yet nobody except for the handsome young man who serves her knows she is the country’s Day. Herein begins Kaya and Yuzuru’s story.

Each Agent has a special guard for if anything happens to them the seasons stop to cycle.
Sakura Himedaka is the guard of Hinagiku Kayo, Agent of Spring. Ayame Hazakura guards Ruri Hazakura, Agent of Summer.
Rindo Azami guards Nadeshiko Iwaiduki, Agent of Autumn. Itecho Kangetsu is the guard of Rosei Kantsubaki, Agent of Winter.
They have just gone through battles with those who aim to destroy the system.
This is a vivid story of four Agents and four guards who wish to protect the world but are also individuals who fall in love.
