Shindou and Otori are simply two research colleagues on a business trip but Shindou is in for a surprise when he finds out they’ll be sharing a room with a single bed! Shindou does like her despite some more eccentric traits, but he feels like management sent him as a babysitter since she’s easily distracted. Confused by the whole situation, the bookish Otori steps out the bathroom and is absolutely captivating, in only a bathrobe. Shindou is reminded by the words his boss said noting how when something catches Otori’s eye, there’s no stopping her. And right now, she’s looking right at him!
 
Grand Hotel Life by Sumiya chronicles the love lives of 20-somethings as they converge at the Grand Hotel Otori. The book’s eleven chapters feature playful couples and cute, forward women in a comfortable slice of life atmosphere.
