Late at night, while working part-time at a convenience store, college student Yamamoto reunites with his former high school classmate, Megumi Hayashi. Back in school, she was known as the class’s most beautiful girl, yet also a proud and arrogant “queen.” Though the two didn’t get along in high school, Yamamoto discovers bruises on her wrist and, intending it to be just for one night, shelters her from her abusive boyfriend. Before he realizes it, however, a strange cohabitation begins.
 
Confused by the situation, the two gradually come to see sides of each other they never knew before. What was supposed to be the worst living arrangement turns out to be surprisingly comfortable…!?

One night, while working part-time at a convenience store, college student Yamamoto is approached by a female customer in sweatpants at the register. Her name is Hayashi Megumi, a former classmate from high school and the most beautiful girl in the class. Due to her strong-willed and arrogant nature, she was often called a "queen." 
 
Despite their previously strained relationship, as Yamamoto engages in light conversation with her, he notices a painful bruise on her wrist. After hearing that it was caused by her boyfriend hitting her, he decides to take her back to his apartment to shelter her for the time being. However, just as he is about to go to sleep, she suddenly hugs him from behind…!? 
 
What will happen to the relationship between the observant guy and the wounded queen as they begin their cohabitation from such a terrible start!?
