A series of Naruto novels. Naruto's allies and enemies take center stage in these fast-paced adventures, which each volume focusing on a particular clanmate, ally, team...or villain. 

1. Kakashi Hiden: Hyouten no Ikazuchi [Higashiyama Akira] 
The story revolves around Kakashi Hatake, who is melancholy despite his new position as the Sixth Hogake. 

2. Shikamaru Hiden: Yami no Shijima ni Ukabu Kumo [Yano Takashi] 
A battle between Shikamaru and the "strongest genjutsu-user." 

3. Sakura Hiden: Shiren, Harukaze ni Nosete [Oosaki Tomohito] 
The result of Sakura's feelings will be revealed. 

4. Konohagakure Hiden: Shuugen Biyori [Hinata Shou] 
The other ninja in Konoha and what happened to them "after the original manga." 

5. Gaara Hiden: Sajin Gensou [Ukyou Kodachi] 
A story of love—something the Kazekage does not know very well. 

6. Akatsuki Hiden: Sakimidareru Aku no Hana [Shin Towada] 
A story revealing the "truth of the Akatsuki."

Before Naruto's birth, a great demon fox had attacked the Hidden Leaf Village. A man known as the 4th Hokage sealed the demon inside the newly born Naruto, causing him to unknowingly grow up detested by his fellow villagers. Despite his lack of talent in many areas of ninjutsu, Naruto strives for only one goal: to gain the title of Hokage, the strongest ninja in his village. Desiring the respect he never received, Naruto works towards his dream with fellow friends Sasuke and Sakura and mentor Kakashi as they go through many trials and battles that come with being a ninja.

Naruto: Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto. The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as he has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki.
