East Kaioushin is the supreme ruler of the Eastern Quadrant of the Universe along with his best friends, and under his superior, Dai Kaioshin (Grand Supreme Kai). He is short, purple skinned with white hair, dressed in a posh Kaio outfit and always accompanied by his ever-loyal bodyguard and friend, Kibito. East Kaioshin survived Majin Buu&#039;s assault on the Kaioshin Kai to become the only surviving Kaioshin, when rescued by his bodyguard. Emperor Pilaf finally has his hands on the Black Star Dragon Balls after years of searching, which are said to be twice as powerful as Earth's normal ones. After the wish is granted, the Black Star Dragon Balls scatter across the galaxy. However, Gokuu discovers that they will cause the Earth to explode unless they are all brought back within a year. The film is set between the 517th and 518th installments of Akira Toriyama's original manga. Specifically, it is set during the "lost decade" of story time after the end of the battle with Majin Boo. The July 2018 issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine revealed that the Dragon Ball Heroes game series will get a promotional anime this summer. The anime will depict the story's "Prison Planet" arc from Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission. The anime's "first episode" will get an advance screening at the "Super Dragon Ball Heroes Universe Tour 2018" tournament event for the game at Aeon Lake Town in Saitama prefecture on July 1.

This is the manga adaptation of the 2008 JSAT animated special as published in V-Jump. The original story was written by Koyama Takao and supervised by Toriyama Akira, while the manga adaptation was illustrated by Ooishi Naho.
