Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters is a twelve-episode mini-series commissioned, produced, and edited by 4Kids Entertainment and animated by Studio Gallop. The miniseries is officially considered to be part of the fifth season of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, taking place between the events of the "Grand Championship" and "Dawn of the Duel" arcs (episodes 198 and 199).

“ANIMATION × PARALYMPIC: Who Is Your Hero?” is a special series featuring fictional Paralympic athletes depicted in world-renowned Japanese animation. The project aims to introduce new Paralympic sports heroes through attractive characters and stories that will be created by the collaboration of famous comic creators and animation film directors. The series will increase the number of featured sports by 2020. 

An episode animated by Kyoto Animation was scheduled to be broadcast in August 2019, but was later announced to be cancelled after it was determined production could not be completed in time for the 2020 Paralympic Games due to a tragic arson attack on the studio.

The anime will center on the elementary school student Totta, who loves to fish. One day a bar soul named Potepen appears from the barcode on Totta's bag of potato chips. Together, Totta and Potepen use a special "Bakutsuri" bar rod item to fish for other bar souls.

In futuristic Den City, people duel using digital cards in the VR space "LINK VRAINS" managed by SOL Technology, Inc. A mysterious organization known as the Knights of Hanoi hacks into LINK VRAINS in search of a runaway AI program, Ignis. One duelist with the username "Playmaker" stands against this threat. His true identity is high school student Yuusaku Fujiki, a skilled hacker with a dark past and a grudge against Hanoi. When he becomes the first to capture Ignis, a struggle between Yuusaku, SOL Technology, and the Knights of Hanoi ensues.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the manga a new TV anime project has been announced.

Set six months after the events of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, Yugi Muto and his friends are in their final year of high school and are talking about what they will do in the future. Meanwhile, Seto Kaiba has commissioned an excavation to retrieve the disassembled Millennium Puzzle from the ruins of the Millennium chamber. The item had previously housed the soul of his rival, Atem, whom he hopes to revive in order to settle their score. The excavation is interrupted by a mysterious man, who faces Kaiba in a game of Duel Monsters and steals two pieces of the recovered Puzzle. What is his ulterior motive? The stakes have never been higher; the rivalries never as fierce; the risks never so great.

Thanks to the Leo Corporation, headed by Reiji Akaba, new advancements to Solid Vision, the holographic system that gives life to the Duel Monsters card game, give physical mass to monsters and environments, allowing players to interact directly with them. This has given birth to challenging Action Duels, in which duelists may traverse environments to locate Action Cards to help them in a pinch. The story follows Yuya Sakaki, a second year middle school student at Miami City's You Show Duel School, whose father disappeared three years ago when he was scheduled for an important duel. While facing off against the current Action Duel champion, Yuya awakens a new power from his pendant, known as Pendulum Summoning.

A short film introduces Semira, a strange boy who comes to play with Ojaru and his chums and bears a marked resemblance to a boy of the same name who spent a summer with the village elders when they were boys, long ago.

The "Waruchin Ceremony" has been stolen from All Star, a planet that exists in the outskirts of space. The computer that is built into it is programmed to make anything possible. The thief is actually the villain, Doctor Bell. Doctor Bell schemes to invade the other planets through the use of Waruchin. The prince of All Star, Prince Chikkun, together with his trusty advisor, the intellectual Takkun, decides to head towards Earth in pursuit of Doctor Bell.

A new enemy has been revealed - Barian. They wish to gather the "Numbers" and destroy the Astral World to avoid their own world's destruction. As such, Yuma and his friends are their prime target, and the Barian begin to slowly enter Heartland City.

Jiang came to the old family cherry blossom viewing venue. But the surrounding area was full of garbage. He sits there to eat lunch reluctantly when a strange creature falls from the sky! 
Kororin is his name. He comes from the Star Oasis and is here to teach the importance of environmental consciousness with his ESP. 
Jiang, his sister, and Kororin must battle Syndrome, the evil alien plotting the destruction of the Earth. The attempted destruction is usually through some environmental issue such as tearing a hole in the ozone, or changing the weather, or overuse of electricity, etc.
