Yusuke is a very composed and collected individual, and upon further inspection, this extends to a sense of methodical intelligence and a highly observant nature. He acts with poise and elegance, displayed by his eloquent, poetic way of speaking. He is able to remain calm even in dire circumstances, but can also act dramatically at times; others have pointed him out as weird, and even Yusuke admits that he can be seen as eccentric.

Matthew Christopher Miller, known professionally as Matthew Mercer, is an American voice actor, best known for his work in anime, cartoons and video games. 

In video games, he voices Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil, Chrom in Fire Emblem, Jack Cooper in Titanfall 2, Cole Cassidy in Overwatch, Yusuke Kitagawa in Persona 5, MacCready in Fallout 4 and Edér Teylecg in Pillars of Eternity.

After being arrested and having to transfer to a new high school in Tokyo, Akira Kurusu is given the goal of rehabilitation and awakened to a new power—the power of one’s true self, a Persona. The story focuses on the 16-year-old Protagonist after he is transferred to Shujin High School in Tokyo.
