She is the fourth sister of the Nakano Quintuplets, and one of the main characters of the Quintessential Quintuplets series. Having a cheerful and energetic personality, she has a strong tendency of helping people out. Yotsuba is an active and easygoing girl. She is a type of person who can't say no to people who need help. She is also very physically fit, and is capable of tasks that her sisters can not do. She has excellent endurance and is great at sports. She's the only sister with excellent eyesight. She has a good sense of smell and a green thumb. Though she's great at physical activities, she has the lowest score out of all of her sisters.

Through their tutor Fuutarou Uesugi's diligent guidance, the Nakano quintuplets' academic performance shows signs of improvement, even if their path to graduation is still rocky. On another note, Fuutarou slowly begins to realize the existence of a possible connection between him and the past he believes to have shared with one of the five girls. A story written by Hajime Asano and supervised by Negi Haruba about the quintuplets' daily lives that was not depicted in the original manga.

Chiyuki talks about the style of a famous person and famous anime characters. Kim Jae-Joong a member of the Korean pop group JYJ is featured in the first episode. His solo song "Ray of Light" was used as the ending theme of anime "Smile Down the Runway".
