Bowser is Mario's archnemesis. He is the leader and most powerful of the turtle-like Koopa race. Although Bowser has joined forces with Mario in a few games, he is considered a &quot;bad guy&quot; due to his ambition to kidnap and dethrone Princess Peach and conquer the Mushroom Kingdom.    Though their origins are unknown, Bowser has eight children; the seven Koopalings and Bowser Jr.    Bowser, or King Koopa, is perhaps most famous for his repeated kidnappings of Princess Peach. The reason for these kidnappings is often part of his plan to take over the Mushroom Kingdom.    He has several types of troops under his command, including Koopas, Goombas, and Piranha Plants.    Bowser's appearance has been tweaked several times throughout the series, but most of basic overall look has been consistent. He looks something like a cross between a turtle and a dragon. He is bipedal and able to walk around on two legs. Both his feet and his hands have large claws. He is noticably larger than all the other characters. He is mostly yellow with a green shell. Several large spikes are located both on his tail and on his shell. He sports a tuft of red hair on top of his head. Although his abilities vary from game to game, he is able to breathe fire in most of them.      

In the film, Mario and Luigi are the owners of a grocery store. One night, Mario was engrossed in his Famicom game. Suddenly, the picture goes out and Princess Peach appears on the TV screen crying for help from the enemies attacking her and jumps out of the TV. Mario falls in love with her and vows to protect her. Soon after, Koopa appears on the TV screen and starts to come out of the TV. He grabs Princess Peach and takes her into the TV. Mario then discovers a small brooch that Peach left on the floor. 
The next day, the brooch that Peach dropped becomes a matter of concern for Mario. Luigi immediately notices the brooch and regards it as the "Visionary Jewel from the Country of Treasure". Soon, Kibidango, a small dog-like being, wanders into the store and notices that Mario has Peach's brooch. He takes it away from Mario, enraging him, thus beginning his (and Luigi's) chase with Kibidango into the Mushroom Kingdom.

Akiko Wada is a female Japanese singer and television performer of Korean ancestry, originally hailing from Higashinari-ku, Osaka. Like many Zainichi Koreans, she had a legal Korean name and a name for everyday use, which was Japanicized Fukuko Kaneumi (金海 福子). Due to her above-average height (174 cm or 5' 8.5"), she is nicknamed "jotei", meaning "empress".  She is signed to the HoriPro entertainment agency.  She voice acted as Koopa in Super Mario Bros.: Peach-Hime Kyushutsu Dai Sakusen!, the first time he had been voiced.  She also performed with the music group m-flo on the song "HEY!" on their Beat Space Nine album which was released in 2005.  Along with fellow Japanese entertainers Takeshi Kitano, Ken Shimura, and Nobuyoshi Kuwano, she severely criticized TV star Masashi Tashiro after his arrest for voyeurism.  (Source: Wikipedia)

Super Mario World: Mario to Yoshi no Bouken Land is an interactive anime video based on the game Super Mario World. It is designed for use with Bandai's Terebikko system, which utilizes a telephone-shaped microphone to "interact" with the video. It asks the viewer multiple choice questions, such as what will hatch from Yoshi's egg.

A side story manga to the long-running "Super Mario-kun" series, following the events of the 2014 3DS video game "Yoshi's New Island". 

Story goes as follows: "the couple to whom the stork delivered Baby Mario and Baby Luigi allege that the brothers are not their babies. The stork then flies away to search for the real parents, when he clashes with Kamek and his goons once more. Kamek proceeds to defeat the stork in a fight and kidnap Baby Luigi, but Baby Mario slips and falls on the nearby Egg Island. He is found by a group of Yoshis who decide to take him to his brother and defeat Baby Bowser, now that he is planning to turn Egg Island into his resort. 

After Baby Bowser is defeated at his castle, it is up to the iconic duo to head over to the stork and Baby Luigi to rescue them."

Based off of Mario Kart DS. All the characters from the game such as Wario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach appear.
