Yamato Mikoto is a member of the Hestia Familia and the Takemikazuchi Familia, having converted to aid the former during the War Game. Mikoto originally hails from the Far East. Her parents died several years after her birth. Tsukuyomi and Takemikazuchi took the young girl into their orphanage, where she lived for years, eventually joining the Takemikazuchi Familia. Mikoto and the other members of the Takemikazuchi Familia used to sneak Sanjouno Haruhime out of her mansion at night to play with her. They were eventually caught, damaging relations between Haruhime's father and the shrine. They pursued their nightly fun regardless. Two years before the story, Mikoto and the other Takemikazuchi Familia members moved to Orario to earn money to help support the shrine.

Mikoto has a serious and honorable personality, unwilling to use cowardly tactics even in an emergency, as shown through her disapproval of Pass Parading the monsters that were chasing them onto the Hestia Familia. She also has a softer side as she cares for the well-being of her friends and is fiercely loyal to them. 

Some adventurers delve into the sprawling labyrinths beneath the city of Orario to find fame and fortune. Others come to test their skills against the legions of monsters lurking in the darkness below. However, Bell Cranel’s grandfather told him a different reason: it’s a great place to rescue (and subsequently meet) girls! Now that Bell’s a dungeon delver himself, the ladies he’s encountering aren’t the helpless damsels in distress he’d imagined, and one of them, the beautiful swordswoman Ais Wallenstein, keeps rescuing Bell instead. As embarrassing as that is, it’s nothing compared to what happens when goddesses get involved. Freya, Hephaistos, and Loki, with their powerful Familias, are intimidating enough, but there’s one goddess whose relationship with Bell is certain to spark trouble.

The second season of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka. 
 
There's rarely a dull moment when you're the champion of a tiny Familia, and things only get rougher for Bell when the God Apollo declares war on Hestia and her followers. With Apollo's Familia able to field a hundred times as many men, Hestia will have to work a lot of favors to keep her Familia from being completely destroyed. 
 
Even if Bell and Hestia manage to pull off the impossible, a major debt that Hestia owes is about to come due and Lili's sordid past comes back to haunt her! Which means that when Bell and his friends come to Lili's aid, it sets into motion yet another impending clash of the titans that may destroy everything!

Bell and Ryu end up in the 37th floor, which is a Deep Floor. The rest of the party are at level 27, facing the level boss Amphisbaena. They have to defeat the level boss, in order to save Bell. At the same time, Bell and Ryu have to find a way to stay alive on a floor with strong monsters while having to avoid the Juggernaut.
