He wants to make a name for himself and earn money with the band to rebuild his parent's dairy farm that was sunk with debts. From his experience of playing taiko when he was young, he showcased a powerful performance and sold himself to joining Argonavis. With a thorough pragmatism and a personality that dislikes waste, he is constantly high tension and a mood maker.

One day, while singing karaoke alone, two boys named Yuuto and Wataru discover Ren's singing ability. The two agree: "This is fate. Let's start a band!" Ren promptly runs away, but fate indeed steps in, and their journey begins.

Shouhei is a stage play actor who started his acting career when he was featured in a PV for the group GReeeeN in 2013. He is also known for being very talented at playing the drums, and he is currently the drummer of the male band [Argonavis](https://anilist.co/staff/153229/Argonavis) as part of the BanG Dream! franchise. 

He enjoys going to the movies with his friends and loves film very much. He eats messily, he's good at handball, and he once dyed his hair blonde but dyed it back a few days later. His nickname is Heyhey.
