A first-year high school student and the rising star of Elmei Junior and Senior High's girls' basketball team. Her personality and skills have made her incredibly popular both inside and outside of her school, to the point where she's been featured in various magazines. Chinatsu can be quite competitive, as she always arrives to Elmei's gymnasium in the morning for open practice even earlier than [Taiki Inomata](https://anilist.co/character/191242/Taiki-Inomata), whom she frequently shares the floor and sometimes plays one-on-one games with. 

The day after she completed her years as a junior high school student, Chinatsu tearfully practiced playing basketball, having barely failed to qualify for nationals. When Taiki reminds her both of said event and how hard she works, Chinatsu makes it her goal to go to nationals despite her family moving overseas. To get around this, she stays at Taiki's house due to their mothers being friends and former teammates. She gives Taiki a matching foot bracelet when she learns that he also plans to go to nationals.

In the _Ao no Hako_ one-shot, Chinatsu is the captain of her school's girls' basketball team.

Reina Ueda is a Japanese voice actress and singer who is affiliated with 81 Produce. Beginning her career as a voice actress in 2012, her first main role was Naru Sekiya, the protagonist of the 2014 anime series Hanayamata. She is also known for her roles in video games such as Atelier Lydie & Suelle, Azur Lane, or Granblue Fantasy. She was one of the recipients of the Best New Actress Award in the 9th Seiyu Awards in 2015. She released a mini-album in 2016, and her first solo single in 2018.

Xanthe Huynh is an American voice-actress of Vietnamese descent. Huynh's path to acting began during a course in theatre acting during an elective course while in middle school. She fell in love with acting and continued on the acting path throughout high school and her passion eventually led to her graduating with a degree in Dramatic Arts at the University of Irvine in California. 

Huynh also enjoyed anime as a hobby and confided in her friends if there was any way to combine her two loves. Her friends were supportive of the idea and pushed her to try out for Anime Expo's voice acting competition called AX Idol. She would eventually make it as a finalist and was invited to audition for, and eventually signed with Bang Zoom! Entertainment and is still currently working for them since 2008, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. 

Since signing, Huynh has gone on to voice minor and major character roles in anime and video games in major productions. Besides voice acting, Huynh also enjoys cosplaying, which is proudly displayed on her Instagram.
