Born Kikka Kikimoto, she is one of three orphans brought on board the White Base during the One Year War. While aboard the ship, Letz, Katz, and Kikka became a combination of mascots and troublemakers for the ship, and were involved in several incidents, including Ramba Ral&#039;s last ditch attack on the ship, as well as Char&#039;s infiltration of Jaburo, when they helped to dispose of the bombs. The latter incident lead to their being allowed to stay on the ship, even when she left Earth to return to space for the final offensives at Solomon and A-boa-ku. After the battle of A-boa-ku, the three kids showed their Newtype abilities, when they reached out to allow Amuro to find the lifeboat on which the White Base crew had escaped the ship. It is the year Universal Century 0079. Over 90 million humans populate the Earth, and many have been forced to live in space. People now live in large cylinder-like colony clusters called Sides, all ruled over by the "Earth Federation Space Force" (E.F.S.F.). Around this time, a group of colonies called Side 3, located near the dark side of the moon, proclaimed themselves independent from the Earth Federation and made themselves known as the "Principality of Zeon". 
 
Now the war has gone on for eight months and doesn't seem to be ending any time soon. Both factions are at a stalemate. As a last resort, the Federation attempts to produce a new, stronger force to fight against the Zeonic armies. They create the White Base and a powerful Mobile Suit called the "Gundam". Hirohashi was born in Niigata Prefecture, and her family's home was a Buddhist temple. Because of this, she attended Ryukoku University in Kyoto, a Buddhist university. In the middle of her first year, however, her parents told her that she could do what she liked, even if it wasn't related to Buddhism, so she sought out what she wanted to do. During her second year, she remembered a radio show she used to listen to in middle school and became interested in voice acting, so she started going to the Aoni Coaching School Osaka while attending university at the same time. The radio personality she had listened to in junior high school was a voice actor, which inspired her to become a voice actor herself.

In 1990, Bandai produced the 4 episode OVA series SD Gundam Gaiden. Directed by Tetsuro Amino (Macross 7, SD Gundam's Counterattack), this series is set in the medieval fantasy world Suda Doaka. Once again, popular Gundam characters such as Amuro Ray and Char Aznable are featured in the series, along with fantasy-styled versions of well-known mobile suits. 
In this series, the heroic Knight Gundam and his companions must protect Suda Doaka from the evils of Satan Gundam and Sieg Zeon. Much of the series is set in the Kingdom of Lacroa, which is featured in several SD productions, including the 2003 TV series SD Gundam Force. As is the case with all the older SD productions, SD Gundam Gaiden isn't available in the U.S.

Ensign Reccoa Londe has provided the AEUG with information regarding possible mobile suit development at the civilian colonies of Green Noa. Lieutenant Quattro (Char Aznable) with his wingmen Lieutenant JGs Apolly (Andy) and Roberto (Ricardo) head to the colony to investigate. On Green Noa 1, Kamille Bidan is rushing to the spaceport where the Temptation, a ship a former One Year War ace is on, is docking. He’s hoping to get an autograph from the famed Captain Bright Noa. As Bright explains that he’s on duty, Jerid and company interrupt the two. Jerid smacktalks Bright for receiving a two rank demotion upon refusing to join the Titans and grabs Kamille’s photo saying he should sign it as an elite member of the Federation. The two get into a scuffle and Kamille is hauled off for questioning. Matosh questions Kamille about being an AEUG insider but just then he’s freed after his story checks out. Just as the handcuffs come off, the Gundam MK-II crashes into the building…
