Formerly Duke Lutelu of Roland, Lura is the father of Ryner (Feruna Lutelu). The House of Lutelu, also called the &quot;Overseer of Magic House Lutelu&quot;, was a major Noble House of Roland, and had a standing matching up to that of the Eris House. Lura is a genius who created much of the fundamentals of Roland&#039;s magic today, and he manages a number of scholars and academics in wizardry to further the advancement of magic.      ~!Lura&#039;s flesh body has been infused and permeated with magical energy and like Lucile, he has an ethereal body which made him immune to any form of physical attack. He can alter his physical appearance to assume any age, create simulacrums and projections of himself, and is well versed in various of forms of magic inscriptions and incantations, making him so formidable and powerful that Ferris&#039;s strength and movements are like child&#039;s play to him. However, because his body is almost completely made up of magic, his natural bane are the bearers of the Īno Dwōe (殲滅眼, イーノ・ドゥーエ?, Īno Dwōe). When Īno Dwōe&#039;s power is invoked by its bearer, a cross-shaped symbol appears over their pupils, allowing the bearer to absorb magical energy to increase their powers.    Since young, Lura has no interest in anything but magic. However, due to a stroke of coincidence, he bumped into a village girl, Iluna Laswhale (イルナ・ラースウェル, Iruna Rāsuweru?), and fell in love at first sight. Subsequently, they were married despite the objections from both families. When he discovered his newly born son was born with the Alpha Stigma, he immersed himself deeply into the research in magic to save Feruna from the doomed fate of an Alpha Stigma bearer. Consequently, he split &quot;The Lonely Demon&quot; into two parts, placing the &quot;Lonely&quot; fragment into Feruna, and the &quot;God Devouring&quot; incantation into the head of Rex Eris. Furthermore, in order to protect Ryner from &quot;&alpha;&quot;, the Curse of &quot;The Goddess&quot; for erasing &quot;The Solver of All Equations&quot;, he infused Iluna&#039;s body with magic, and implanted the resulting spiritual existence, &quot;The Charm of Ātofāru (アートファールの呪い, Ātofāru no Maginai?)&quot;, into Ryner. "Alpha Stigma" are known to be eyes that can analyze all types of magic. However, they are more infamously known as cursed eyes that can only bring destruction and death to others.
 
Ryner Lute, a talented mage and also an Alpha Stigma bearer, was once a student of the Roland Empire's Magician Academy, an elite school dedicated to training magicians for military purposes. However, after many of his classmates died in a war, he makes an oath to make the nation a more orderly and peaceful place, with fellow survivor and best friend, Sion Astal.
 
Now that Sion is the the king of Roland, he orders Ryner to search for useful relics that will aid the nation. Together with Ferris Eris, a beautiful and highly skilled swordswoman, Ryner goes on a journey to search for relics of legendary heroes from the past, and also uncover the secrets behind his cursed eyes.

Ryner Lute is a lazy student of Roland Empire Royal Magician's school. One day, Roland Empire goes to war against a neighboring country Estaboole, and he lost his classmates in the battle. After the war, Lute sets out for a journey to search the relics of a "Legendary Hero" at Emperor Sion Astal's command. And he finds out that a deadly curse is spreading through the continent.
