A rather large bodied man who's a member of "Red-Haired" Shanks' crew, he's always seen eating a piece of meat. 

He seems to be one of Shanks's most trusted crew members, as he is always seen when the Red Hair Pirates are featured, usually when something crucial happens. He shares this trait with Benn Beckman and Yasopp. He is the first person to actually kill someone in One Piece and sets the stage for the series: A pirate's life is a dangerous one.

Gold Roger was known as the Pirate King, the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. David Brimmer is an American voice actor. Brimmer has been choreographing violence in New York, as well as in regional theaters around the country for over 20 years: from the current bational tour of Jekyll & Hyde and the Off-Broadway productions of Bug and Killer Joe to the Joseph Papp Public Theater's Blood Wedding. His choreography has been nominated for a Douglas Fairbanks Award for Excellence in Theater and his work is currently on file at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.  He is the creator and current instructor of the stage combat program at New York University's (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts, and has taught at the Classical Studio, the Stella Adler Conservatory, the Lee Strasberg Institute, the Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Atlantic Theater Company, and the Yale School of Music and Drama. He is a former President of the New York Fight Ensemble (NYFE) and a member of the Society of American Fight Directors.

A manga adaptation of the novel 'One Piece: Ace's Story', drawn by Boichi.
 
Note: Chapter count includes two special one-shots: "ONE PIECE: Roronoa Zoro, Umi ni Chiru" and "Nami vs Kalifa".

The special will be a completely new work, featuring reanimated scenes from the beginning of the series through when the crew enters the Grand Line. 
 
The special is commemorating the manga's 20th anniversary, and will also feature anime versions of the original manga's chapter cover stories as part of the special's ending credits. The staff haven't yet clarified which cover story or stories will be animated. Additionally, the anime will feature a special 20th anniversary commemoration version of the original opening theme song "We Are!".

A collaboration between Nissin Cup Noodles HUNGRY DAYS campaign x rock group BUMP OF CHICKEN: a full-fledged music video directed by Kyotarou Hayashi for the song Kinen Satsuei by BUMP OF CHICKEN. 
The music video follows the series of One Piece-themed "Hungry Days: Aoharu ka yo." commercials in a what-if world of Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates if they were living as high school students. The theme of the video is about graduation, where the Straw Hat Pirates recollect the days of encounters, farewells, and adolescence through photos taken in their pasts.

The story of the Hand Island no Bouken special is set a little before the events of One Piece Film Z and depicts a major "Hand Island" incident during the New World storyline. The story is set at "Cannon Town" where a parent and a child work as craftspeople. The incident revolves around them and a commodore of a marine base. The special will also have a flashback scene to the story in the first chapter of the manga, but with new animation.
