He is the opposite of his sister Natsumi in many ways. First of all, their personalities vary widely, since Natsumi tends to be very outgoing and quick-tempered as well as strongly athletic, whereas Fuyuki is much more calmer and reserved, and tries to avoid fighting and physical education as much as he can, but does unleash a full body of bottled anger that even frightens Natsumi when he is uncharacteristically furious. Also, their names and traditional colors are opposites, as Fuyuki's name means "winter tree" and blue is his signature color and Natsumi's means "summer beauty" and has red as her symbolic color. Fuyuki is an obsessed expert of the paranormal and science fiction, and for unknown reasons, he tends to encounter many of the bizarre creatures that he knows whenever at an episode that centers around him, most of them being quite epic. His appearance reflects that of a normal Japanese boy; black hair, dark violet eyes, and an average figure.  Fuyuki has a close bond with Keroro that exceeds space, even though Keroro is supposed to be his enemy. Fuyuki always affectionately calls him 'gunso', or 'sergeant', and they sometimes spend quality time together whether it would be playing at the park or unwittingly helping Keroro in another one of his idiotic schemes to help conquer Earth. Although Fuyuki is well-aware that Keroro is an invader alien, he always gets upset when he catches him plotting or scheming and uses one of his signature lines, "Aren't we friends?!" to weaken Keroro. He is also the one to always stop the sergeant whenever the alien's plan is to completely destroy Earth, saying that if the Earth is blown away, so will all the Gundam model factories, as Gundam-making is one of the sergeant's most obsessive hobbies. He is also responsible on keeping the Kero-ball away from the sergeant, since it is a devastatingly dangerous but strange Keronian weapon that Fuyuki sometimes uses as a toy/weapon.  Fuyuki also has a unique bond with Alisa Southerncross, since Alisa always uses Fuyuki as bait to attract aliens, or "dark" or "cursed ones", as she and her father calls them. Although any other person would've absolutely hated this position, Fuyuki forgives Alisa about this, since Alisa was actually a puppet and her father thought that by hunting aliens, she would eventually gain humanity.  Their bond often infuriates Momoka Nishizawa, his classmate, who has an amorous crush on Fuyuki and often comes up with plots to attract his attention (humorously, these often-failing plots are a major part of the series' comedy). Fuyuki doesn't seem to feel any romantic feelings toward Momoka, since he always calls her "Nishizawa-san", a proper term to address a stranger or someone who is high in social class (as Momoka is extremely affluent). However, he does love her as a close friend and would never abandon her.  Despite his unearthly patience with the insanity that seems to flower in the wake of Keroro and the others, Fuyuki does have a temper. When his temper is up, which admittedly takes A LOT, Fuyuki is capable of terrorizing not only Keroro and the platoon but his sister and regular people as well.  Source - Wikipedia

Keroro is a frog-like alien sent from his home planet on a mission to conquer Earth. But when his cover is blown, his battalion abandons him and he ends up in the home of the Hinata family. There, he's forced to do household chores and sleep in a dark basement that was once supposedly a prison cell haunted by the ghost of an innocent girl. He even spends his free time assembling Gundam model kits. During his stay, Keroro meets up with subordinates who were also stranded during their failed invasion.

Houko Kuwashima is a Japanese voice actress and singer. She is capable of playing a variety of roles, ranging from young boys to feminine women. Kuwashima is currently affiliated with Aoni Production. Her first major role was as Yurika Misumaru in Martian Successor Nadesico.

Tomoko Kawakami was a Japanese voice actress. Having graduated from the Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music, she was affiliated with Production Baobab at the time of her death.

In August 2008, Kawakami was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which required surgery. During a three-year battle with cancer, most of her ongoing roles were replaced by other voice actresses, although the latter was able to do some voice work until her retirement in the start of the 2010s decade. She died on June 9, 2011 at the age of 41.

Sergeant Keroro is the Captain of the Space Invasion Forces Special Advance Team of the 58th Planet of the Gamma Storm Cloud System, sent to the planet Pokopen (aka Earth) to collect intelligence for his planet's invasion force. He is also a frog. After his ship crash-lands in the planet earth, he takes shelter in the Hinata household, but the two kids, Fuyuki and Natsume, find him and take away his alien weapons. When his people discover that the Pokopenians are aware of him, Keroro is abandoned - left to fend for himself in this hostile world. But he's not alone - four other pre-invasion agents were are also lurking on Earth.

The movie begins with Fuyuki Hinata and the Keroro Platoon exploring an abandoned temple in the mountaintop city of Machu Picchu in Peru. While on the exploration, Keroro accidentally sets off a trap, and by chance they find a hidden chamber with a large blue crystal in the center, on a stand that has a key in it. Keroro leans on the key, causing the room to activate a mysterious machine, this caused the entire temple to shake. As soon as the group realized what was happening, they run out of the room. While running, Keroro accidentally loses his Kero Ball while Fuyuki catches a fleeting glimpse of a glowing young woman as he is running out, and tells Keroro that there was a girl in the room, but he is forced to leave the room before he can say anything else. The group successfully escapes, while the girl (now sprouting a pair of glowing wings) watches them leave - while back in the chamber, something is growing within the crystal...

Sergeant Keroro and his four subordinates came from the planet Keron to the Earth to conquer. However, without notice, they began to enjoy the life on the Earth. Keroro was supposed to stay with Hitana to get the chance to conquer the Earth, but he became friend with Hinata's son, Fuyuki. 
Today, as usual, Keroro goes to buy his favorite Gundam plastic model with Fuyuki. On their way home, they find a small shrine, and enter. There, they find a vase, and happens to break it. Since the next day, strange things happen all over the town and people are in panic. Inside the vase, Kiruru, Keron's ancient ultimate weapon was sealed. At the moment, Mirara who holds the secret of the Kiruru appears and informs them of the only method to save the Earth. However...

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sgt. Frog (known as Keroro Gunsou in Japan) anime, Bandai Namco Pictures announced the launch of a new animation project and released a special trailer alongside the news release. Despite the announcement being on April Fools' Day, the official Sgt. Frog Twitter account confirmed the news using the hashtag "For real" (#本当).
