Boss is a short-tempered field-hamster; he has no owner. He likes to be in control of things, and is a self-appointed leader. He is very much in love with Bijou, and often tries to win over her heart. Boss is gruff but he has a big heart.

5th-grader Laura Haruna owns a hamster, and his name is Hamtaro. After moving into a new town, Hamtaro finds that he's in the company of lots of different hamsters, making up a group of hamster friends that go on crazy adventures through the city. Before they save Laura and other humans from nasty predicaments, however, they have to learn how to save themselves.

Ted is an inductee into the Vancouver TheatreSports League and has over a decade of theatrical experience. He has worked for such diverse companies as the Arts Club Theatre, The Vancouver Playhouse and Pink Ink Theatre. He has also appeared in a number of the American episodics that are filmed in Vancouver, as well as having one of the most recognized voices in translated Japanese animation. In the 1994 Fringe Festival, Ted had his first small success as a playwright with the solo hit, Virtually Nonexistent. Mr. Cole is also an amateur photographer and a sport fisherman.

Francisco José Corrêa, also known as Chico José, is a Brazilian actor, voice actor, and dubbing director.

In 2005 his health became bad and he retired from dubbing, dubbing sporadically. Soon after, he had problems with the copyright owners, as he refused to give up fighting for his rights, and so he was banned from all dubbing studios, retiring.

In 2017, Francisco came out of retirement and started dubbing again.

It's Laura's birthday, and Laura isn't paying much attention to him. Hamtaro then went with the ham-hams to ham ham land. Hamtaro is searching for the magic sunflower seed, but, he will have to battle Maou-hamu for it.

2 new episodes were released among the 2012 re-broadcast of the Hamtaro anime series, "Searching for Memories" and "Panda Goes to Meet a Panda".
