Not every girl gets what she wants on her 16th birthday, but Kobeni's gift is something she never saw coming: an arranged marriage! Thanks to her late grandfather, Kobeni's been engaged to a total stranger since childhood, and even though she's supposedly met him she doesn't remember a single thing about him. Even weirder is that both her Mom and creepily over-doting sister, Benio, seem completely unsurprised when the groom-to-be, Hakuya, and his younger sister, Mashiro, show up on the family's doorstep to move in with them!<br>

But it's not until they start attending Kobeni's school that things take an even stranger turn after she starts to pick up some very... unusual vibes from her potential future family. From Mashiro's obsession with aliens and UMAs (Unidentified Mysterious Animals) to Hakuya's disconcerting lack of emotion, there's something very off about them that Kobeni can't quite put her finger on. A voice actor and musician, notably the lead vocalist and guitarist of [Poppin'Party](https://anilist.co/staff/153185/PoppinParty). Aimi had dreamed of becoming a singer ever since she was young. She initially only aspired to become a singer, but she became interested in voice acting after becoming familiar with the anime series Macross Frontier, where she was impressed at how the series was able to combine music and animation in its storytelling. 

In order to make her dream come true, she participated in various contests, such as the “Best of Singer Contest National Championship 2008”, which she made into the Finals but lost. She was one of 3rd ANIMAX Anison Grand Prix Finalists with Sayaka Sasaki in 2009, and was a winner of the Osaka block. On February 6th, 2010, she made it to the finals of the “Aim for Ellie! Milky Holmes Seiyuu Audition”, a seiyuu audition tour hosted by DWANGO Creative School, but lost the role to Mikoi Sasaki. However, she did make her debut as a seiyuu in the Milky Holmes anime.

Aimi was the guitarist of a girls' band in high school and self-taught, but quit playing after graduating. She picked it up back in 2014 and used it to perform during her THE iDOLM@STER Million Live! live performances as Julia. Aimi is the influence and where Kidani Takaaki, the president of Bushiroad, got his idea for the BanG Dream! franchise from - after seeing Aimi playing the guitar during THE IDOLM@STER M@STERS OF IDOL WORLD!! 2014. 

She used her full name for her voice actress career and Aimi (愛美) for her singer career, but she started to use the latter for both since December 2013.

 The manga is about an ordinary girl Yonomi Kobeni who suddenly heard that she is betrothed to a guy Mitsumine Hakuya who is the same age as her. Somehow Hakuya moved in from countryside and started to live with her, bringing his younger sister who is still a primary school student with him. Added Kobeni's elder sister who already lives with Kobeni and is 2 year older, the story revolves around these 4 people and their identities as "couples" and "sisters-in-law."
