A mysterious, long-nosed gentleman who resides in the Velvet Room. As in the other Persona games, Igor's purpose is to assist the player in acquiring new powers and Persona. At the end of the game, because the Main Character has fulfilled his contract, Igor uses the power of the Main Character's social links to forge a Persona of the World Arcana with the power to change reality. Igor states that he had never thought to see such power during his lifetime. He also makes an appearance in the anime sequel, Persona -trinity soul-, meeting with the protagonist Shin Kanzato as a fortune teller. He tells Shin that they have met before in the Velvet Room.

Persona 4 takes place in a rural town named Inaba. There have been mysterious murders occurring whenever there was fog after heavy rain. There were also rumors about a channel on television airing only at midnight called Mayonaka TV, during which it is said that one can see his/her "other half" when staring at the TV screen. 
After hearing about a recent unsolved murder which occurred during the fog, the characters—Narukami, Chie, and Yosuke—discuss how each of them had attempted to watch the mysterious TV channel and witnessed the murder victim. The protagonist later realizes that during midnight when the channel is on, his body can phase into his television set as a gateway to enter another world infested with shadows. 
After discovering this, they all decide to explore. When first completely entering the world, dazed and confused, Narukami meets Teddie. Mayonaka TV and the town murders seem to have a connection. The murder victims may be merely victims of Mayonaka TV. Everyone decides that they will together try to solve the mysterious murders by exploring the hidden world of Mayonaka TV.

Daniel E. Woren (Born in San Diego, California) is a voice actor. Woren is a huge fan of the San Diego Chargers and also comes from that area. As well as being a voice actor, Dan Woren also has several live-action roles in the Power Rangers series and numerous video game roles such as the Narrator in the Heroes Chronicles series. As the season turns to autumn, Makoto and the other members of S.E.E.S. inch ever closer to the end of their battles with the Shadows. After signing a contract in which he "accepts his fate of his own free will," the main character battles with the other members of SEES against the Greater Shadows, incarnations with traits and appearances similar to those of the first 12 Major Arcana of the Tarot. While this is occurring, he continues to encounter and eventually befriends the child who gave him the contract to sign at the very beginning of the game, an entity who refers to himself as Pharos, and is really the incarnation of Death, the 13th Arcana.

After being arrested and having to transfer to a new high school in Tokyo, Akira Kurusu is given the goal of rehabilitation and awakened to a new power—the power of one’s true self, a Persona. Using his Persona and the mysterious navigation app Momentos, Akira and his friends take on the role of phantom thieves, saving people from the twisted desires of those around them.
 
Akira Kurusu thought he was doing the right thing when he rescued a woman who was being attacked. Expelled from his school and sent away from home, he is reenrolled in Shujin Academy on probation. Trouble finds him again on his first day when he comes across delinquent Ryuji Sakamoto and the two somehow stumble into a castle in an alternate reality. The stage is Ayanagi City, a city near the Japan Sea. It is a futuristic city that was built to carry out the recovery from the calamity caused by the "Apathy Syndrome" ten years previous. High school student Shin Kanzato with his little brother Jun, meet with their elder brother Ry&#333;, who is the chief of the Ayanagi City Police, again after ten years. At that time, a series of strange incidents happen in Ayanagi City such as the crew of a submarine that suddenly disappears while in their submarine, or a spiritless symptom which disturbs the world after ten years, or the case of the inside out corpse where a student took on a cruel appearance. Ry&#333; tracks down the organization behind the string of incidents, and having become involved in the incidents, Shin awakens the "Persona".
