Moria is the captain of the world&#039;s biggest pirate ship, Thriller Bark, and has a former bounty of 320,000,000 Beli. Moria apparently has the power to turn people&#039;s shadows (including his own) into solid objects due to the power of the Kage Kage no Mi (Shadow Shadow Fruit), but the full extent of his powers are yet unknown. He is the one who stole Brook&#039;s, and various other beings&#039; shadows. The loss of a being&#039;s shadow causes them to go into a two day coma, and to be vaporized if they come in contact with sunlight. The shadow acts a second soul, duplicating its owner&#039;s movements and mannerisms. Moria creates zombies by inserting a shadow into a lifeless corpse. Coupled with physiologically enhanced bodies engineered by Hogback, he is able to create powerful and obedient zombie warriors. However, if the original owner of the shadow dies, the zombie created from that person&#039;s shadow will also die. As a result, Moria has the de-shadowed people placed on their ship and removed from Thriller Bark.

Ben is the leader of the first platoon in [Riki's](https://anilist.co/character/9079/Riki pack). He is strong, patient, wise and loyal to the great Leader. Before he joined the group, Ben was a hunting dog in the town, Koufu. Ben's good heart and thoughtfulness towards other dogs in the past turns out to be at his favor, when he seeks them out to make them join the fight against [Akakabuto](https://anilist.co/character/9078/Akakabuto).

In GDW, Ben is one of the oldest of the surviving Ouu soldiers from the battle with Akakabuto. Upon his old age, he has returned to Koufu with his mate Cross. He has turned senile and often forgets things and Cross constantly needs to watch over him.



The father of Broly, when Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta, Broly used a sphere of his own power to protect himself and Paragus, and transport them to another planet. Paragus raised Broly, and eventually had a scientist create a crown capable of restraining, and controlling Broly&#039;s rage and power. Paragus later came up with a plan to get revenge on Vegeta, but failed due to Broly breaking the crown and going berserk. He was killed by Broly who threw his escape pod into a comet. Paragus also makes a cameo appearance in Movie 12 as a villain in the background behind Freeza after they escape from hell.

Teppei is Satoko and Satoshi's uncle/foster father. He and his wife were forced to take care of Satoko and Satoshi after the death of their parents, but they abused them. He currently lives in Okinomiya. According to Kasai, he is a pimp and uses his lover Rina to swindle men out of their money.   ~!He is killed by Keiichi in Tatarigoroshi-hen and by Rena in Tsumihoroboshi-hen, in their attempts to protect Satoko and Rena's father respectively.!~

The coach of the Shohoku High basketball team, and one of the best ones in Japan. Even the coaches of other teams call him "Anzai-sensei" with respect. His calm and collected attitude contrasts with the temper he had in the past, when he was nicknameed "White-Haired Devil" as a demanding college coach.  A talented player, Ryuji Yazawa, trained under him and was eyed with high regard by Anzai. However, Yazawa was unhappy about Anzai's tough training for him (especially the repetitive and strenuous basic technique training), and against the Coach's wish, left Japan to play in the USA, where he thought he would have better opportunities to show his talent. 5 years passed without any news, other than an unaddressed video tape showing Yazawa playing in a team, whose players had virtually no concepts of teamwork. One day Anzai learned from the press that Yazawa died in a high-speed head-on car collision, reportedly under drug influence. While visiting Yazawa's grave, Yazawa's mother gave Anzai a letter written 4 years prior, which Yazawa never had the courage to post back. In the letter, Yazawa expressed profound regret about his rebellious decision to leave, and the depression from his experience in the unsupportive American college basketball career. Anzai grieved deeply for the loss of Yazawa and resigned from college basketball coaching ever since. This also changed Anzai's former strict attitude to his now mild temper, for which he is now known as the "White-Haired Buddha."  Sakuragi always calls Coach Anzai "Oyaji" (old man) and has the habit of jiggling his fat when hyped, which makes the others - Mitsui in particular - mad at him, as this is considered disrespectful. Anzai, however, appears to tolerate this and has not reprimanded Sakuragi for his behavior. However, Anzai did punish the four players (Mitsui, Miyagi, Sakuragi and Rukawa) involved in the fight against Mitsui's gang, by initially benching them during the first interhigh tournament match against Miuradai High School.  However behind such an impassible demeanor is a brilliant strategist, who always knows how to turn the tide of a match for his team. Anzai like Haruko Akagi, realized Sakuragi's potential early on and decided to make him a starter even though some of his basketball skills were not yet par. Recognizing that shooting was Sakuragi's weakness, he made him make 20,000 baskets in a week to get ready for the national tournament. Anzai is also very charismatic and able to inspire his players to greater heights, as evidenced before the match against Sannoh, where he managed to bring down the insecurity within Miyagi, Mitsui and, to a lesser extent, Sakuragi. Although they were directly recruited by Coach Moichi Taoka of Ryonan, both Mitsui and Ryota turned him down, citing Anzai's presence at Shohoku as the primary factor. Mitsui respects Anzai the most, and once put a picture of him on the bench and prayed to it when Anzai was unable to come to the inter-high Shohoku-Ryonan match due to heart attack.

Rihaku of the Ocean (海のリハク, Umi no Rihaku?) is the Military General of the Goshasei. Unlike the other Goshasei, he shows little martial art skills and relies primarily on elaborate traps to protect Yuria from Raoh. He is the sole survivor of the Goshasei against Raoh, but loses his daughter Toh, who commits suicide. He later becomes the elder statesman of Bat and Lin's Hokuto Army resistance.

Jinbe is a whale shark fishman who was the second captain of the Sunny Pirates after Fisher Tiger, and who became a Shichibukai eight years ago. Jinbe's name comes from jinbei-zame (甚平鮫), which means "whale shark" in Japanese. His epithet, Kaikyou would normally translate into "Strait" or "Channel". However since the kanji for it is written as (海侠の) and not (海峡の), the kyou part (侠) of it comes from (任侠), a honorific used when addressing a high ranking yakuza member, thus making his epithet a Japanese pun.

This 53-year old-Japanese history teacher is also Kenichi's homeroom teacher. He and Kyōko Ono pay a visit to Ryōzanpaku to check out rumors that Miu is living with another student although the misunderstanding is eventually cleared up. He is a huge fan of Koetsuji's work and refers to him as sensei. 
His shiny bald head is commonly used on jokes, such as when Niijima recognizes his head through its shine from far away while seeking help after himself, Kenichi, Miu and Tanimoto get lost during their school trip to the snow due to Jihan's attack.

Rasputin was only shown in the series for a few minutes, but from the statements that Rasputin made it was implied that his body was invulnerable against any form of bullet.

Grein is the strong but silent type, saying only a few words when he speaks, and speaking only to those he respects. Despite this, Negimaru is able to interpret his silence as if he were speaking.

Every Autobot has a purpose, be it as a leader, a warrior, a healer, or a scout. Smokescreen's purpose, however, is to charm and deceive. A member of the eldora five, Bario is the voice of reason and patience within the group. The most physically imposing of the group, he&#039;s usually seen reading books or playing peacemaker in one of Nero and Jose&#039;s arguments. But despite his docile nature, he&#039;s actually the first one to throw a punch whenever one of his friends is insulted, or throwing the book he&#039;s reading in their face as the case may be.

The Great Tengu of Mount Kurama is an aged yokai who was Hagoromo Gitsune's right-hand man 400 years ago. During the battle between her forces and Nurarihyon's, he fought against Gyuki. His place has since been usurped by Minagoroshi Jizo, who rewrote the memories of the rest of Hagoromo Gitsune's forces to forget that the tengu was ever among them. As a means of revenge, the Great Tengu of Mount Kurama decides to prevent Nue's birth and strikes a deal with Gyuki in regards to Rikuo's training in Kyoto to assist in the process. However, when he begins to feel that the training is taking too long, he sends his underlings to retrieve Nenekirimaru on their own - which ultimately proves unsuccessful.
