Though he&#039;s the Kyoukuchou, he plays a relatively minor role in the series and is often seen to be overruled by Hijikata. He&#039;s much more tolerant of the errant Tetsunosuke as well as Souji&#039;s childish antics. He is, however, more willing to take risks than Hijikata.


A missing-nin from Takigakure and Hidan's partner. Kakuzu is a greedy individual, prioritizing things in terms of how much they are worth and finding money to be the only thing that he can depend on. Kakuzu's favorite source of income is collecting bounties while carrying out other missions, even putting up with Hidan's religion since it allows him to collect bounties faster. His history as a bounty hunter seems to be extensive, as he is on friendly terms with a bounty collector and even seems to have memorized the information and worth of some of the more dangerous bounties. This view of money has caused Kakuzu to refer to himself as the "Treasurer of Akatsuki", though it is unknown if this is an actual position. Kakuzu also has his own personal banker and accountant. Despite his attachment to money, he places the orders of the Akatsuki leader before any opportunity to make a profit. Kakuzu greatly dislikes the fact that he needs a teammate as a member of Akatsuki, due in part to his habit of killing anyone near him (partners included) when enraged. Having killed all of his previous partners as a result of this, Kakuzu was partnered with Hidan. Neither Kakuzu nor Hidan are fond of their partnership, Kakuzu having little patience for Hidan's time-consuming battle style and rituals and Hidan, in turn, detesting how Kakuzu fights solely for money. Still, because Hidan is immortal, Kakuzu can attack him without worrying about finding a new partner.

Master Pharaoh 90 (師・ファラオ90, Masutā Farao 90?) is a malevolent alien from &quot;Tau Ceti Star System;&quot; further details on its origins are unknown. It appears only as a huge black sphere with tentacles.    In the manga, Pharaoh 90's goal is to merge itself with the planet Earth and make it his home. In the anime, it wants simply to destroy it by bringing about the Silence. Pharaoh 90 is the one who provided the daimon egg of Mistress 9 to Professor Tomoe, taking advantage of Tomoe's desire to save his daughter. In reality, Pharaoh 90 simply needed to provide a body for Mistress 9 so that she, in turn, could open a portal for Pharaoh 90. Pharaoh 90 was destroyed by Sailor Moon and Sailor Saturn in the anime, but in the manga, it is simply driven back to Tau Ceti by Saturn and then sealed away forever by Sailor Pluto.    Like all of the head villains in the manga, Pharaoh 90 is later revealed to be an incarnation of Chaos, the ultimate enemy of the series.

A pacifist who seeks to use Hokuto Shinken as a healing art, Toki's self-made technique of Hokuto Ujou Ken ("North Star Humane Fist") is an art adept at both healing and destroying. When he kills someone with his style, his adversaries actually die while feeling great euphoria and pleasure instead of horrifying pain. According to Ken, Toki had the most elegant style of the four brothers and was favored successor to the Hokuto Shinken style.


A world famous Union professor who is invited to join the Anti-Gundam Investigative Squad as their technical chief. He taught both Sumeragi Lee Noriega and Billy Katagiri in college and knows them both well.

One of the five Exorcist Generals, a cheerful and easygoing man.  Tiedoll is an artist who is  always seen carrying a drawing pad and charcoal, who never turns down the opportunity of a beautiful view and seems to be able to draw very complex scenes from memory.  Although he usually travels alone in search of new compatible Innocence users, his protection team after the death of General Yeegar consists of Daisya Barry, Kanda Yuu and Noise Marie. His Innocence is the Maker of Eden.

Majhal was an alchemist that guest starred in episode four of the anime. Living in a small unnamed town, Majhal was the only alchemist in the area and was a candidate for creating the Philosopher's Stone for the Homunculi, but Lust thought he was just an amateur. Majhal uses an alchemy wristband which has a transmutation circle on it.    Edward and Alphonse visited Majhal in question about their missing father after they burnt their home down. During their visit they heard there was a strange zombie resembling the dead villager Karin wandering around the town at night, kidnapping and killing girls.    It soon was revealed this Karin was Majhal's lost lover and he tried to resurrect her using girls of the village, alchemically transferring their souls into mannequin versions of Karin so she could be reborn. Unfortunately, none worked out and some even wandered freely until Majhal destroyed them afterwards. Majhal tried his scheme one more time, trying to force Ed and Al to help. However, he was told by Ed that an elderly woman who helped him in his plots was actually Karin, aged. It is later revealed that Karin had not died, but lost her memory after hitting her head when her wagon crashed. Majhal couldn't see his lover in the woman's face and attempted to kill Ed, Al and Karin using a transmuted sword. However, Ed transformed a rose into a whip and sent Majhal's sword flying into the air. Majhal could only watch helplessly as the sword flew down and stabbed him through the stomach, pinning him to the floor. He died, still believing Karin was in heaven

The famous original conqueror of Druaga.     Gilgamesh (ギルガメッシュ, Girugamesshu?), also known as Gil, the destined hero of the game. He has been charged by the goddess Ishtar to ascend the Tower of Druaga and rescue the maiden Ki from the demon Druaga. Not only must Gil use his sword and shield to navigate through the labyrinthine floors of the tower, he must use his wit and memory to reveal the locations of the treasures contained on each floor, some of which are absolutely necessary for Gil&#039;s success. Gilliam II is the AI (artificial intelligence) of the XPG 15A-2 &quot;Outlaw Star&quot;.  Gilliam is in charge of maintaining and reporting the status of the XGP as well as performing various calculations related to space travel.  When in zero gravity, Gilliam can use numerous miniature maintenance robots (normally blue, but colored pink by Jim) to perform repairs to the XGP, but cannot move large objects under gravity and is restricted to welding and soldering.    In addition to being the AI to the most advanced ship in the galaxy, Gilliam itself is also highly advanced.  Gilliam possess a personality, something other AIs in the Outlaw Star universe do not have.  Gilliam's occasional dry wit and sarcasm annoys Gene Starwind to no end.  Gilliam will often express concern over distraught crew members or remind them of their various upkeep chores.  Though Gilliam is polite and humble in all aspects, it will not hesitate to boast about how advanced the XGP is when the topic arises or when the XGP is compared to another ship.

The president of 21st Century Defense Security. He was previously an army officer, and was the one responsible for ordering the use of OE Weapons during the Heterodyne attack twelve years ago. Because of this, he is determined to avoid the use of these weapons again, and is thus very supportive of the Dai-Guard team. He is able to move the voters with his words alone to demolish Mother's Home and even convince Deus to remove the First and Second because of their absences. His true goal has later been revealed that he wished to use the 8th's diary to hook up with a super computer, given everyone in the city the potential to becoming a Apprentice Diary Holder to hope to make a new and great kingdom that he will rule. In the second anime chapter of Samurai Champloo he skirmishes with Jin but since Ryūjirō Sasaki had died due to Oniwakamaru strangling him to death he was forced into retreat since no one was going to pay him.

The English Colonel is Head of the Intelligence Division. He&#039;s quite intelligent and ambitious, detetmind to find out as much as he can about the JAM. He successfully hides his ambition behind his gentle smiling face.

A Poet and the abbot of Medmenham Abbey, founder of the Hellfire Club. His power and influence is so great that even Maximillien bows to him, and he is revealed to be the one who taught Maximillien how to use the Psalms.

The King of Kou, known also as Chou, has ruled his country for fifty years and has tried his best to improve the state of Kou. However, he comes to feel that he will never be able to bring Kou the prosperity seen by the neighbouring kingdoms of Sou and En, whose rulers have ruled for six hundred and five hundred years respectively. When Joukaku, the ruler of Kei, dies after a reign of six years, the King of Kou comes to fear Youko&#039;s ascension to the throne of Kei, believing that as a taika like the King of En, she will be able to bring the ruined country the same prosperity as En and Kou will continue to fall behind.    As such, the King of Kou secretly supports the false queen Joyei, the younger sister of Joukaku who seized the throne without being chosen by Keiki, and makes various efforts to capture and kill Youko

Police Inspector Tawashi (a.k.a. Inspector Gumshoe) is a law enforcer and recurring character in the Tetsuwan Atom mythos. Known for his surly demeanor, Inspector Tawashi is a dedicated officer. And he hates robots.

He is similar to Inspector Geta in that both always appear as police investigators, and both are known for their dedication to their job. However, while Geta is known for his honesty and uprightness, Tawashi is most known for his suspicion of people. He is suspicious not only of Tezuka villains such as Ham Egg and Lamp, or of ambiguous characters such as Rock Holmes, but is even critical and untrusting of such figures as Astro Boy. The series which contains most of his appearances is Astro Boy, but he also has notable appearances in such series as The Amazing Three, Black Jack, Lion Books, Unico, and Rainbow Parakeet.

He is a doctor and Shio's reformatory director.   ~!He constantly pays Ishihara to bring him some prisoner kids, raping them by promising that they'll be free sooner.  When Sakuragi entered the reformatory, he had a cellmate named Eiichi Hagino. Hagino's mom was very sick, so he wanted to get out of the reformatory as soon as possible. Sasaki then promised Hagino that he would let him go sooner if he had sex with him. Of course he was lying. When Hagino discovered Sasaki's lie, he committed suicide and left a suicide note to Sakuragi, telling him all the things that Sasaki and Ishihara did to him.  Sasaki was responsible for Sakuragi's death.!~ ~!After the timeskip, the prisoners from cell 6-2 found out that Sasaki was trying to become the Mayor. They manage to make him confess all of his sins, which they record and let everybody hear at his election speech. Sasaki is then disqualified from the election.!~

A self-proclaimed genius, Amiba trained in Nanto Suicho Ken under Rofu, but having failed to become successor he turned his attention to Hokuto Shin Ken. When Toki refused to share his knowledge with Amiba, he began experimenting by himself and almost killed an elderly man with his efforts. For this blunder he was scolded by Toki and subsequently swore revenge on both Toki and the Village of Miracles.  

~!Amiba later teamed up with Jagi, who helped make Amiba resemble Toki and even scarred his back with a club to recreate Toki's scar. Amiba then learned enough Hokuto Shin Ken techniques from Jagi to successfully impersonate Toki. With the real Toki imprisoned in Cassandra, Amiba tarnished his image and tortured both civilians and martial artists with his experiments.!~  

 ~!Kenshiro finally used Zankai Sekihoken, causing Amiba to involuntarily walk over the edge of a high-rise building to his death!~
