King Vegeta was the king of the Saiyans, and is mentioned several times in the manga, however only appears in filler episodes and movies. Believed to have been the strongest Saiyan, in the manga, it was said that he had been surpassed by his own child, also named Vegeta. Before the attack on Planet Vegeta, he realized that Freeza was afraid of the Saiyans, and he coordinated an assault on Freeza. According to the anime filler, his attempt to attack Freeza failed as he was easily killed. The Saiyan elites that followed were also defeated by Freeza. In the movie Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan, he ordered both Broly and his father Paragus&#039; to be killed, because he was afraid of Broly&#039;s abnormally high power.    King Vegeta is only seen in the anime special, the film Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan, and in some original scenes in the anime series. Lafarga is the Captain of the Guard and charged with protecting the Pillar. Although Cephiro is mostly peaceful, he kept himself busy slaying the occasional monsters that would appear. In his takeover of the country, Zagato hypnotized him into trying to kill the Magic Knights as a last-ditch effort to stop them before they challenged him personally, but the girls managed to bring him to his senses. He goes against Zagato roughly at the same time Hikaru must meet Rayearth, and she in fact manages to summon her Mashin while trying to help Lafarga fight Zagato. In the second part of the story, he is romantically involved with Caldina.  Named after the Honda Rafaga, a sister car of the Ascot.

Jun Uozomi is the team captain. He considers Takenori Akagi his rival, but has never managed to personally beat him, although Ryonan has beaten Shohoku on occasion. However their rivalry is not antagonistic; indeed, there is respect that borders on friendship. When Akagi was outplayed and discouraged in the match against Sannoh, Uozumi was able to restore Akagi's spirits. After the loss to Shohoku in the Kanagawa prefectural trials eliminated Ryonan from national competition, Uozumi left the team to train as a chef, since his family owns a ramen restaurant; Sendoh succeeds him as team captain. Sakuragi likes to refer to him as "Boss Monkey" because he is as well-built as Akagi, and even taller.  

Uozumi's size and power are unmatched in high school basketball. However, he started as a very weak player, and was ridiculed and bullied by his upperclassmen for only having height but very little of everything else. Ryonan's coach Taoka Moichi encouraged him to continue playing though, and eventually Uozumi developed into becoming a fearsome center. He is considered as one of the top centers in the Kanagawa prefecture. However, his bad temper and lack of control in game situations has led to serious consequences for his team on more than one occasion; during the second match with Shohoku, Hanamichi tricked him into committing four fouls and almost got him ejected.

He&#039;s first seen wrestling with E. Honda in Calcutta to win prize money. Dhalsim manages to slip away from his grip however, and attempts to mentally subdue Honda. Ryu&#039;s presence however distracts Dhalsim enough for Honda to regain control of the match and win due to forfeit.

Mondo is a spy from an ancient warrior clan and an old acquaintance and rival of Fo Fai[1]. He had entered the first Toshinden tournament in order to collect information about the Secret Society for his client[2][3]. Just as his client was about to attack the Secret Society, Mondo had received an invitation to the second tournament. His client tried to hold him back, telling him to discard the invitation, but Mondo ignored the restraint and entered the tournament[3]. At the end of the event, the Secret Society had fallen. He also participated in the third tournament, hosted by the Organization.  Afterwards, Eiji Shinjo became the head of the Gerard Foundation and when he learned about the power of the Four Sacred Arms, he started hunting for Mondo, since he carried one of them. He was also targeted by Genma, who also sought the power of the Four Sacred Arms. It is assumed that before the fourth tournament was held Eiji managed to catch up with Mondo, since Eos, one of Eiji&#039;s fighters, carries his spear.

In every tournament, aside from the 21st, something bad happens that enhances his role such as in the King Piccolo Saga, he witnessed Kuririn murdered by the Demon King Piccolo's warrior Tambourine and later he becomes very important as he witnesses Son Goku's fight with Piccolo from the sidelines with the others, making him one of the few "civilians" to know the truth.   At the end of Dragon Ball Z, his age starts to show as he is losing hair and has very noticeable wrinkles, but in Dragon Ball GT his descendant's hair remains white. Although he doubts Mr. Satan for being the one who defeated Cell, he praises him in order to make fans cheer.
