Ricardo Martinez is currently the only &#039;Super Champion&#039; in the series. He has the longest title run in the series, with 21 defenses of his WBA Featherweight Title over a decade. He became WBA Featherweight Champion at the age of 21. His fame is so great, even those in Mexico who don&#039;t know the President&#039;s name knows his name. Ricardo&#039;s strength far exceeds that of the other known featherweights. His power is on par with Ippo&#039;s; his damage retention allowed him to take several heavy blows from Date without any lasting damage; his jabs are able to stop Ippo&#039;s Dempsey Roll and knock him unconscious on their own. For reasons unknown, he has always stayed in the WBA and never tried to become undisputed champ, leaving the massive number of World contenders avoiding him to scramble for the WBC belt. George Morikawa listed Martinez as the second strongest character in the series (behind Takamura). Ricardo Martinez is based on Ricardo Lopez, one of the few boxers to retire undefeated.

George is Jonathan Joestar's father and, after a tragic misunderstanding, adopts Dio Brando in his family, kick-starting the events of the first six parts of the series.

Andrew Graham is the Gundam fighter for Neo-Canada. While Argo Gulskii and his pirate crew were escaping from the space police, their ship collided into the station where Andrew and his wife, Norma were working as space police. Norma was sucked out into space despite Argo&#039;s attempt to rescue her. Andrew blamed Argo for the death of his wife and entered as a Gundam fighter in a quest for vengeance. Domon would later facilitate an unofficial match between Argo and Andrew, which resulted in a draw. Afterward, Nastasha explained Neo-Russia&#039;s ruling Norma&#039;s death as an accident. Andrew refused to believe this and returned to fight Argo in the finals. It wasn&#039;t until the two were matched against berserker Allenby that Andrew remembered the entire event; that it had been an accident. Realizing the error of his ways, he protected Argo by absorbing a permanently crippling blow from Allenby. Unable to pilot a Gundam any longer, he is last seen boarding a plane back to Neo-Canada for medical treatment

Gameran is the second in command aboard the Xenos 5. He is 19 years old and is very protective of Romina. He despises Joe and has attempted to kill him at times, but if the princess is in danger, he will sometimes side with Joe.
