Pen Pen is a hot-spring penguin who lives with Misato Katsuragi as her pet. He lives in a refrigerator and is a source of company and comfort to Misato, who has problems of her own.

Prince Hata is a squat-like, purple alien prince who is fond of animals. His fondness is not reciprocated, and one of his &quot;pets&quot; had even bitten his antenna off (it grew back later). He has an eccentric habit of collecting rare pets, but as he is incompetent in managing them, they often cause havoc in Edo. The Prince is often known as &quot;Baka Ōji&quot; (Stupid Prince) due to his simple-mindedness and lack of responsibility with his animal collection. He is a recurring character in the series. Marcel is a young cheerful boy who for some time travels with Perrine, to catch up with traveling circus troupe he is a member of.

Ryo-Ohki is the sister of Ryoko (both being Masu hybrids created by Washu) as well as her spacecraft. Like Ryoko, she has the ability to phase through solid objects, and is friendly with everyone, especially Sasami. It should be noted, however, that she only takes orders from Ryoko in ship form.    When Washu was imprisoned by Kagato she and Ryoko attacked planet Jurai in a failed attempt to capture the Tsunami tree where she was shot down above Earth while fleeing Yosho&#039;s ship Funaho and remained in a deep sleep underwater for seven hundred years until the seal on Ryoko was broken by Tenchi.    The current Ryo-Ohki is a second generation,the original died of old age but regenerated by creating a child with its memories that took the form of a cabbit (part cat, part rabbit).    The smaller form was created by Ryoko after her revival, before she could leave the cave she watched over Tenchi constantly in an astral form and fed some of her power to a dying cat he was taking care of to keep it alive but had to take the power back upon her revival, so she had it assimilated by Ryo-Ohki.    Ryo-Ohki&#039;s power is equal to the Second generation Jurai tree-ships, although she doesnt have the power to create Light Hawk Wings,she temporarily acquired the ability by assimilating Ryu-Oh, but lost the power when Ryu-Oh was destroyed but seems to have a friendship with him as she can be seen communicating with the newly born sapling Ryu-Oh.    In the OVA series Ryo-Ohki gains two humanoid forms. One of a child, and a teenage form; although she prefers the smaller one as its easier to maintain her balance.

His nickname is derived from his hairstyle ("kakugari (カクガリ)" means "crew cut"), he has a large build. He is the least used of the stormtroopers and he often seen with Chibi. He is also the one who beats up Chibi the most.

His nickname is derived from his height ("chibi" means "small" or "short"), he is a timid crybaby, speaks with a cracked voice, and is often beaten up by the rest of the Gang of Four. He is often together with Kakugari. He also has buck teeth like that of a beaver's (though his nameless Manga counterpart did not have this).

The leader of the Stormtroopers, whose nickname means "eyeglasses", he has a strong personality and generally directs the schemes of the Stormtroopers to gain Lum's attention (though mostly for himself). Though usually antagonistic towards Ataru, he often hangs out with him in his spare time. He is often given to rambling philosophical musings and outbursts, and seems to have an affinity for fascism and communism. 

Shuutaro Mendo is heir to the Mendou Zaibatsu with staggering wealth and its own private army. He commutes to school in a gigantic helicopter that is more like a flying mansion. Shuutaro carries a samurai sword which he often tries to use on Ataru (who has become expert at blocking it with his bare hands). Although very handsome he is just as stupid and lecherous as Ataru (just much more sophisticated in his approach). He takes his role as heir to the vast Mendou fortune extremely seriously. Mendou is vain, narcissistic, charming, overly dramatic, claustrophobic and afraid of the dark. He loves Lum, tolerating the presence of Ataru in order to be close to her. Ryouga is Ranma Saotome's eternal rival and a friend to him, the only one he has outright stated to truly consider as such, arguably the tritagonist, and one of the most powerful fighters in the series. Ryouga's most notable characteristic is that, like his parents (and even his entire family), he has no sense of direction whatsoever. He is unable to go the right way, often sticking to the letter of any directions given to him, regardless of whether the path eventually turns. He has an inability to understand even the simplest of directions or draw any legible maps, once running the wrong way at the start of a three-legged race or getting lost in Shampoo's house for hours; looking for the exit. He cannot even follow someone pointing in the correct direction.

Sasuke is the loyal and abused man-servant of the Kuno family. Bound to the family by his twisted sense of honour, Sasuke defends them and serves them to the best of his abilites. Sasuke is a sneaky little man, and often is sent out by Kuno or Kodachi on missions to try aid their personal pursuits. Sasuke Sarugakure is an anime-exclusive character.

Sakura's wandering monk uncle. Cherry's real name is Sakuranbou, which literally means “cherry” in Japanese. But because the word's kanji can be read to mean "deranged monk," a phrase that is quite accurate in describing him, he prefers to be called by the English word. Cherry has amazing spiritual powers (or so he claims) and he often predicts doom for Ataru (no great feat). He has a habit of popping up out of nowhere, often from very strange places. His ugly face and very short stature are frequently used for comedic effect. Cherry has made a vow of asceticism, living in a tent in an empty lot not far from Ataru's house. However, this vow apparently doesn't apply to food, as he is an enormous mooch. Rei Hino of Sailor Moon's Grandpa looks a lot like Cherry.

A yōkai who is Sesshōmaru's servant: not especially powerful but extremely loyal, he is usually a comical character. Sesshōmaru typically responds to Jaken's failures or more annoying behavior with a sound beating, but Jaken believes this is Sesshomaru's right and never wavers in his loyalty. Jaken started following him in the first place after being captivated by his power and majesty when he slayed a threatening demon, saving Jaken's life (this was incidental; Sesshomaru killed the demon simply because it was in his way. Note: these events were related ONLY in the anime). ("Jaken" means "meanness" or "unkindness".)

Oolong is a shapeshifting humanoid pig, standing about three feet tall with pale pink skin, who tends to dress in trousers, button-down shirts, and suspenders. He was expelled from shapeshifting training for stealing the teacher's underwear and lacks the ability to change his form for more than five minutes at a time without a break. With his shapeshifting, Oolong can look like anything at all. Oolong's initial appearance was as a villain who terrorized a village and kidnapped their young women. Son Goku defeated Oolong and the girls were returned to their village. Bulma decided that he might be useful on her Dragonball quest and persuaded him to join their expedition. Eventually he becomes good friends with Goku and the others, and helps them to find more Dragonballs. He plays a large role in the beginning of Dragon Ball, but by the end of Dragon Ball Z, he just shows up from time to time. His poor shapeshifting skills (and innate cowardice) made him a very weak character that didn't have much to do once the tone was shifted to more serious action. In the anime and several movies, he appears quite often as comic relief. He is loosely based on the character Zhu Bajie from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. 

Woz is sometimes called "Woz the Whiz." He is the ship's hacker and maintains the ship's software. He and Jobs were originally stowaways aboard the Gekko, but they were invited to stay because of their technical skills. He and Jobs tend to argue over how best to configure the Gekko's systems, since Woz insists on rewriting the control systems to compensate for every modification Jobs makes while Jobs asserts that the software is fully capable of supporting the changes. His hippy attitude and grunge attire are a deep contrast to Jobs, but they seem to maintain a strong friendship anyway. A blue atlantic dolphin calf, and Marina&#039;s best friend. His curiosity is great, but not nearly as great as Marina&#039;s. In fact, Fritz loves Marina. However, Marina never knows his feelings. He misses Marina terribly and worries about her constantly after she leaves the sea.

Kinnii, sometimes spelled as Kin'nee, is an anime-only character who volunteered to deal with people who had been abusing their Jusenkyo curses. He is considered a near invincible opponent, with his only weakness being that he fell into the Spring of Drowned Buddhist Priest (Fūshannīchuan), which causes Kinnii to lose all willingness to fight.
