Franky is a cyborg who is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates. He first appeared in the Water 7 arc. Franky is one of "Tom's Workers".

Franky's dream is to build a ship that would travel to the end of the Grand Line. This is the ship that the Straw Hats are currently riding, but his dream is not yet achieved until they make it to the end.

Franky usually acts tough and is quickly angered, but he is also very emotional when it comes to sad tales and often bursts into large tears, or on some occasions, plays a song. His most distinguishable personality trait is his flamboyant attitude. He frequently shouts the word 'SUPER' when he's in a positive mood, or adds it into his speech. He also has a signature pose which he uses very often.

Franky is quick to defend other people (eg. Franky Family, [Nico Robin](https://anilist.co/character/61/Nico-Robin)) and take action if his friends are harmed. He is also quick in making friends, allies, and comrades with even the most unlikely of individuals. Because of this, he is seen as a 'big brother' figure. [Monkey D. Luffy](https://anilist.co/character/40/Monkey-D-Luffy) bears similar qualities (with the exception of engaging in unnecessary fights) and because of this, despite the disputes the two had in the past, both grew to respect each other during the events of the Enies Lobby Arc.

Walter C. Dornez is the butler of Integra Hellsing, but is at the same time a deadly combatant, wielding high-velocity microfilament wires (dubbed by fans "The Dental Floss Of Doom"), and fought together with Alucard in the Second World War to stop a certain groups attempt at creating an undead army.

Boo is introduced in the series as an innocent looking, pudgy, pink genie-like creature. Later in the series, it is revealed that Boo's original form is a more sleek child form ("The Boo of Pure Evil"), however his nature and form had been altered after he'd assimilated the gentle, pudgy god (Dai Kaioshin) into his body. Boo's creator, a wizard named Bibbidi, had used Boo to wage war on the Kaioshin. Boo managed to assimilate two of the four Kaioshin, the second being the one who altered his nature to become innocent. After Bibbidi sealed Boo away, Bibbidi was killed by the fourth Kaioshin, and Boo was transported to Earth where he layed dormant for five million years until he was revived by Bibbidi's son Babbidi during the events of Dragon Ball.

Boo has numerous counterparts in the series. When he first emerges from his shell, he is tall and round, and his personality is naive and innocent. Boo's anger later manifests itself in the form of another Boo ("The Boo of Pure Wrath").  After a battle with the Boo of Pure Wrath, Boo is absorbed and the two combined create Super Boo, who tracks down the protagonists of the series Piccolo and Gotenks. He later reverts to his purest form, the original state called "The Boo of Pure Evil".

Mayuri Kurotsuchi is Captain of the 12th Division in the Gotei 13 and the 2nd president of the Shinigami Research Institute. He gained his position after Kisuke Urahara, the former captain and president, was exiled by the Soul Society. His lieutenant is Nemu Kurotsuchi, his artificially created "daughter."

In the beginning of the series, Isshin is portrayed as a silly, fight-loving father who takes a keen interest in what his children are doing, but does it either offensively or with an all-too-happy tone, which elicits comical reactions from his kids, usually in the form of a kick. Isshin also seems to enjoy making fun of Ichigo and has a tendency to talk to the large memorial poster of his late wife Masaki, which he has pinned up in their kitchen, whenever he feels particularly emotional. Isshin is a big fan of Don Kanonji&#039;s TV show. Despite his outrageous guise, however, Isshin can be serious and grim at times. On the date of Masaki&#039;s death, Isshin smokes a single cigarette in front of her grave, since she thought it made him look cool (she said it when they were dating). He reflects that it was the first and last time she ever complimented his appearance. He also told Ichigo that he shouldn&#039;t blame himself for his mother&#039;s death because she gave her life to protect him. 

~!In addition, during his confrontation with the arrancar Grand Fisher and the subsequent chat with Kisuke Urahara, he remains completely serious (aside from a short argument between him and Kon about his parenting, and another, albeit short, between him and Urahara after the latter likens him to his son). Isshin appears to be an associate of Kisuke Urahara and possesses knowledge of Sōsuke Aizen&#039;s alliance with the Menos. He mentions in his conversation with Urahara that he encountered arrancar about ten years before the main storyline, though they were nowhere near as complete as Fisher. He also reveals to Kon that he has been aware of Ichigo&#039;s shinigami activities and Kon&#039;s substitutions since Grand Fisher&#039;s first attack. He also notes that he has never called Kon &quot;Ichigo&quot; while Kon is in Ichigo&#039;s body and that the traveling charm he gave Ichigo before he went to rescue Rukia was actually for Kon (it&#039;s a protection talisman). This shows the sensitivity and propriety that he possesses of his role as Ichigo&#039;s father, which is rarely portrayed in the series. Isshin also shares a relationship with Ryūken Ishida not unlike that of their sons. When Ryūken discovers his son is missing, Isshin pays him a visit and the two chat about their respective styles of parenting. It is then revealed that Ryūken was aware of Isshin&#039;s status, and he comments on Isshin&#039;s powers. The Bleach Official Animation Book VIBEs states that the two have some prior history together, and that they have been acquaintances for quite some time. It can also be noted they both are doctors, Isshin runs a clinic while Ryūken runs a hospital. There have been hints that the two cooperate on a professional level, with Isshin handling minor cases, and occasionally requesting aid from Ryūken.!~

One of the Chief Inspectors of the police department, Megure is often called upon to conduct the investigations of the various crimes committed around the city.

Shortly after Megure had come to the police force, he was involved in a case in which he would meet his future wife, [Midori.](https://anilist.co/character/42218/Midori-Megure) As a result of the case, he has taken to wearing a hat in public in order to hide a scar which he gained and his own self-consciousness about how he came to his marriage. Megure was also a good friend of star detective story novelist [Yusaku Kudo,](https://anilist.co/character/9177/Yusaku-Kudo) and would in the past consult him about one case or another. On many such occasions, Yusaku would take his son [Shinichi](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) with him, who would pick up his father's investigative skills and eventually become a detective in his own right.

Megure is almost always there on the scene when a murder occurs, always interviewing the suspects, and acting as the commanding officer of the group of police he brings along with him, among them [Wataru Takagi,](https://anilist.co/character/9421/Wataru-Takagi) [Miwako Sato,](https://anilist.co/character/13975/Miwako-Satou) [Ninzaburo Shiratori,](https://anilist.co/character/9180/Ninzaburo-Shiratori) and [Kazunobu Chiba.](https://anilist.co/character/30373/Kazunobu-Chiba) Megure and [Kogoro Mouri](https://anilist.co/character/1746/Kogoro-Mouri) were former co-officers in the district.

Megure is a capable veteran officer who cares much for his underlings, but he is prone to occasional shouting fits whenever something does not go right or when his temper gets the better of him. He also has little patience for fools, but tends to be a bit too conservative, limiting his ability for flexible thinking. 

After Shinichi solved their first mutual case for him, he has regularly consulted him in difficult cases and considered him a great help. In stark contrast to this, he tends not to think much of Conan and the Detective Boys, usually thinking of them as a nuisance until they solve the ongoing case for him. Likewise, from their common police days, he has no high regard for Kogoro, and he thinks that he may actually be under some kind of jinx, since wherever Kogoro hows up, there is always some murder case nearby _(a fact which actually conforms to Conan, which in later cases he seems to have realised)._

The sheriff and mayor of Cocoyashi Village (Coco Village in the 4kids version), which is [Nami](https://anilist.co/character/723/Nami)'s home town. He is like a father figure to Nami and [Nojiko](https://anilist.co/character/4888/Nojiko) since they were kids and he knew their adoptive mother, [Bellemere](https://anilist.co/character/4890/Bellemere), quite well. He also kept the town together after [Arlong](https://anilist.co/character/4887/Arlong) took over the island, making sure everyone was safe and able to pay their tax.

~!Genzo wears a pinwheel on his hat because he used it to make Nami laugh when she was a baby (this pinwheel also inspired an attack for [Luffy](https://anilist.co/character/40/Monkey-D-Luffy) during their fight with Arlong). He played a role in rescuing Luffy after Arlong threw him into the ocean. All of Genzo's scars are from his first encounter with Arlong when he tried to stop him from taking Nami, Arlong made [Kuroobi](https://anilist.co/character/4895/Kuroobi) cut every part of his body with a sword. He was also almost killed by Arlong for hoarding novelty swords, until [Usopp](https://anilist.co/character/724/Usopp) saved him. Genzo's pinwheel inspired Nami's new tattoo--a pinwheel to represent him with a tangerine to represent Bellemere. After Nami sails off with Luffy and crew, Genzo says he no longer needs his pinwheel, placing it by Bellemere's grave. The origin of the pinwheel is then revealed. Bell-Mere said that Nami cried when she saw Genzo because he looked scary, but then Genzo put his pinwheel on to make Nami laugh. It is revealed later in the manga that Luffy is very interested in the pinwheel (this inspires a new attack for Luffy, Gomu Gomu No Pinwheel), not even noticing the Navy who are trying to find Nami, just Genzo's pinwheel. However, this could be a put down in reference to Luffy's simple-mindedness. He threatens Luffy that if he finds out that he made Nami cry, he'll come after him. However, Luffy lived up to that promise, as Nami's sister, Nojiko pointed out.!~

The main villain of the series who seeks to destroy Kirby by any cost. He has ruled Dream Land for 300 years (so he claims), and is still going strong, but is not regarded actually as a king. Despite the fact Dedede is greedy, scheming, and even outright sadistic- even going as far as to say that people’s suffering amuses him- no one has ever tried to dethrone him, despite the fact that he also threatens the children. He's actually harmless for the most part, but his intense dislike of Kirby compels to purchase monsters from Nightmare Enterprises and cause mayhem for the people of Dream Land.  He loves buying new 'toys' and acts like a spoiled child despite his age. He's jealous of the attention Kirby gets, and while at first he even wanted to kill Kirby, later he focuses more on trying to kick him out or just make him look bad. Of course he has a kinder, gentler side, but it only shows in the most extreme of circumstances. (like in the De-appreciation-day episode where he played a prank on Kirby which blew him up which made Dedede upset that he thought he actually killed Kirby, and in the episode where a meteorite was going to hit Pop Star, so he built a playground to make up for his mistakes.)

Considered to be the strongest Captain in the Gotei 13, Yamamoto is depicted as an old man with a long beard. There are many scars on his torso and head, suggesting numerous battles in his past. He wears the standard Shinigami Captain uniform, but its size is greatly exaggerated. He also drapes his haori over his back instead of actually wearing it. Despite his old age, he has a very muscular body. As the general of Gotei 13, Yamamoto is highly respected by many Shinigami, most notably Komamura Sajin, who views Yamamoto as a benefactor who saved his life. He has a fiery temper, and like fellow Captains Byakuya Kuchiki and Soi Fon, he believes that laws must be executed for the benefit of the community and despises those who break the rules. General Yamamoto founded the Shinigami Academy about 2000 years before the main Bleach storyline. Yamamoto was himself a teacher at this academy, and personally instructed Kyouraku and Ukitake. He admits to being rather proud of Ukitake and Kyouraku. When they became Captains, he &quot;boasted about them as though they were his own sons.&quot; It has been revealed that he had ordered Urahara Kisuke to stabilize the Garganta gate so that Captains can pass through, and has sent 4 Captains so far to back up Ichigo&#039;s team.    Yamamoto&#039;s Zanpakutou is Ryuujin Jakka (Flowing Blade like Flame, Viz: Flowing Flame Blade). It is the oldest and most powerful fire-based Zanpakutou, and has greater attack power than all other Zanpakutou in the Soul Society. In sealed form, it is disguised as Yamamoto&#039;s staff, which disintegrates into a sword on command. Its Shikai command is &quot;reduce the whole of creation to smoldering ashes&quot;. When released, Ryuujin Jakka and the area around Yamamoto is consumed in flame. The sheer power of the flame can disintegrate almost anything the sword is waved at. Only powerful fighters such as Kyouraku and Ukitake can resist it. Even in its Shikai, Ryuujin Jakka&#039;s power is enough to fight against two other Captains&#039; Shikai simultaneously. His abilities as a Shinigami are no doubt powerful, as he was able to bring 8th Division Lieutenant Nanao Ise to her knees and immobilize her by looking at her and releasing his spiritual pressure. He was also able to fight on par with two of the most powerful Captains, Shunsui Kyouraku and Jūshirō Ukitake, for a decent period of time without any sign of injury, while they both came away with minor wounds.

One of the Maganac soldiers, usually seen wearing sunglasses and a white shirt with green clothing. Abdul's specialty is strategic planning and electronics, and his mobile suit has distinctive large shoulder armor.

Prince Hata is a squat-like, purple alien prince who is fond of animals. His fondness is not reciprocated, and one of his &quot;pets&quot; had even bitten his antenna off (it grew back later). He has an eccentric habit of collecting rare pets, but as he is incompetent in managing them, they often cause havoc in Edo. The Prince is often known as &quot;Baka Ōji&quot; (Stupid Prince) due to his simple-mindedness and lack of responsibility with his animal collection. He is a recurring character in the series. Gaimon is a character that gets his body imprisoned in an empty treasure chest after he loses his grip while scaling a small cliff on the mysterious Island of Rare Animals (Gold Island in the 4Kids dub) trying to find some treasure with his pirate crew. The crew leaves Gaimon stranded on the island. The treasure chest becomes his body and cannot be removed, however, he can still use his hands, head and feet. It takes 20 years for another person to find him.  After Gaimon shrinks when he gets stuck in the chest, he can no longer scale the cliff. He has to protect his treasures somehow, so he would use his gun and his spooky voice to drive away intruders. Monkey D. Luffy and the whole crew passes the trial and they begin to become friends. However, when Luffy finally gets to the top of the cliff, Gaimon realized that the treasure chests were empty too and he had been protecting a nonexistent "treasure" for 20 years. He was offered to join the crew of the Strawhats but he declined. Then, he considers the animals as his treasures, and vows to protect them.  Chibi Buggy eventually meets, and befriends, Gaimon in the chapter cover stories.

He was the richest man in the city of Xenotime, owning most of the land. When Xenotime's gold supply diminished, Mugwar had Nash Tringum crystallize red water to make imitation Philosopher's Stones, called Red Stones. He used the crystals to transmute rock into gold so that people would come to the city and he would gain money. He murdered Nash when he refused to help at the cost of the deaths caused by the red water. He took advantage of the Tringum brothers by pretending to fall for their deception and had them continue their father's work. He was one of the men Lust took advantage of for her own ambitions. He was killed, crushed by a cave-in caused by the pressure from the red water. Sony's Aniplex anime DVDs spell his name as Mugwar, although Sony's Aniplex website and the first novel, The Land of Sand spell his name as Mugear. A common unofficial translation has his name as Magwar. The Japanese pronunciation is "Maguwaaru," while FUNimation's English-dubbed pronouncation is "Mu-gee-ahr".

Jack lost his mother in a fire, and now roams the earth looking for the Power Stone that his mom used to have. At a point of the show Jack gets Fokker's Power Stone, and changes into the Mad Clown. He does not keep it for long though.

Alexander T. Oyajide, also known as Alexander von Roseo and Daddy-Oh, is a wizard trapped in a magical computer who is able to sense dark, unlucky objects which contain black magic cards. He is often yelled at for being perverted.

Jean Louis Bonaparte, known as Napoleon (ナポレオン) in the original Japanese language version, is a recurring character. His character is based on Napoleon I. In the English version, Bonaparte is voiced by Mike Pollock, while Naoki Tatsuta takes the role in the Japanese version.    Vice-Chancellor of Duel Academy beginning with the second season, Bonaparte is a stout man hailing from Paris, France who originally attempted to demolish the Slifer Red dormitory at every opportunity, but was repelled by Crowler. He later dueled alongside Crowler against Maximillion Pegasus for a job at Industrial Illusions, after they falsely believed themselves to be fired by Chancellor Sheppard. Following Duel Academy's arrival in an alternate dimension, he encourages the students to save his son Marcel from the Duel Spirit Yubel. Previously married, Bonaparte's son is in the custody of his ex-wife. After Marcel is rescued, Bonaparte apologizes for neglecting him and leaving his wife for his career, and the two return to France at the end of the season.    In both the English and Japanese versions, Bonaparte speaks French on occasion. In the latter, he also refers to himself with the archaic &quot;wagahai,&quot; and ends the majority of his sentences with &quot;de aru&quot;. In the English anime, he frequently uses the French terms &quot;feux pas&quot; and &quot;au revoir&quot;.    Bonaparte plays a Toy Army deck, which includes cards that detail Napoleon I's conquests and coronation, such as the monsters Toy Soldier and Toy Emperor. His Toy Soldier cards are physically weak, but he supplements them through Forced March and Fife and Drum Corps, as well as a variety of Trap Cards.

An eccentric old man and former traveler. He befriends Yusei after being detained in the Neo Domino City Detention Center. He knows several things about the Signers and the Five Dragons. He plays a "Hidden Treasure" deck, based on legendary treasures from all over the world, which he takes great pride in.

A robot technician who spends his time fixing robots, he is Ringo's guardian and takes care of her. However, Ouji has a constant dislike for Casshern, and seems to know something about him in the past.

Professor Jumba is an evil genius alien and Stitch&#039;s creator. He is assigned by the Galactic Council to watch over Stitch, and lives with Yuna and Obaa. He is much friendlier in this series than the original, and has less of a penchant for evil.

The current head of the Vongola crime family. His age is unknown,but it is implied that he is becoming too weak to lead the family,which is why he searches for his successor. It is revealed that he has been plagued with problems concerning his legs, thereby limiting his mobility.He accepted Iemitsu's son, Tsuna, as the next head of the Vongola Family, but a fake IX that replaced him decided that Xanxus was more worthy to become the next boss. Not realizing this IX was a fake, Iemitsu argued, wanting Tsuna to become the 10th boss. Thus, the fakeIX sanctioned the traditional Vongola battle; those who wield the same ring will have a one-on-one battle. The real IX was kidnapped by Xanxus, who had placed him within Gola Mosca, draining him of his life energy. When Tsuna sliced Gola Mosca's armor in half, the IX was able to use his flame to show Tsuna his past;the IX used to visit Tsuna when he was just a child. In the future, he has been unaccounted for since the Millefiore Family raided the main Vongola headquarters. During Tsuna's training within Hibari's spiked ball, he appears in a vision with the other Vongola heads and is shown with a flaming scepter,his signature Dying Will Flame weapon. Seeing him in the vision causes Tsuna to believe that he may be dead. Like Tsuna and the first, the IX also knows how to use the Zero Point Breakthrough, using it to stop Xanxus' rebellion during the Cradle incident. The Vongola IX's stamp is the Dying Will Flame; he marks documents with his flame, proving they are official.

Yukinari Ookido is a Pokémon Professor and a major supporting character of the Pocket Monsters anime who lives and works at his research lab in Masara Town. He appears semi-regularly to give Satoshi advice to help him achieve his goal of becoming the greatest Pokémon Master.
