Mei is Satsuki's younger sister; she is 4 years old. She is the first person that meets and befriends Totoro. Believing her mother's condition has worsened, she sets off on foot to the hospital and gets lost.

Kaname is the female protagonist of the series. She is often described as, 'The kind of girl everyone looks up to, but not even a boy wants as their girlfriend', as a male, fellow student put it. She's very much the loud mouth, speak your mind kind of girl; a trait she picked up when she studied abroad in the United States. Until then, she feels like she must protect Sousuke from the harsh, cruel world of high school - a place where he doesn't quite fit.

Sousuke is assigned to guard her as she is one of the "Whispered". People that have in their subconscious very technologically advanced knowledge that numerous governments and other groups want to use for their own means.

She often uses a paper fan to hit Sousuke, besides berating him on how the kinds of weapons he uses are not exactly proper for a high school student. While she criticizes Sousuke for being too militaristic and overprotective, she appreciates it under life or death situations. Chidori develops serious feelings for Sousuke and is dejected when he is so obtuse in such matters. Eventually Chidori confesses her love to Sousuke and the latter reciprocates it.

Yukina is the kind, thoughtful, and somewhat na&iuml;ve twin sister of Hiei. Her name literally means &#039;Ice Sprout&#039;. Yukina was born as an ice apparition (Kourime, literally &lsquo;Ice Woman&rsquo;), the same as her clan. Ice apparitions have special abilities relating to snow and ice, and have light healing abilities. In addition, when they cry, their tears become gems, which are highly valuable in the human world. But she was also born with a twin brother Hiei. Her twin brother was the forbidden child who was never supposed to exist, and was &quot;killed&quot; by being thrown off a cliff, despite his mother&#039;s desperate pleas.    At the beginning of the series, Yukina had no knowledge that both Hiei existed and that she had a brother. Hiei also, for reasons that remain largely unknown to Yukina, always shows up at various times to protect her when others aren&#039;t around or are unable to do so. In the manga, Yukina does eventually figure out that Hiei is, in fact, her brother. (In the English Dub Hiei often tells her that her brother is most likely dead) Yukina is also the love interest of Kazuma Kuwabara, although she remains unaware of this. The very first time Kuwabara saw Yukina via video tape, Kuwabara replied that he was in love and left quickly to rescue her, although he didn&#039;t stay long enough to find out that Yukina was Hiei&#039;s sister. At any time he can, Kuwabara will try to protect Yukina at any cost to him. At the very first sight of Yukina, Kuwabara&#039;s strength rapidly increases past its normal limits, as seen during his battle with Risho. After seeing how Tarukane treated Yukina, Kuwabara told her he wanted her to not hate humans, to which she replied that she didn&#039;t dislike humans and liked Kuwabara.

In the tradition of many [Rumiko Takahashi](https://anilist.co/staff/96891) heroines ([Lum](https://anilist.co/character/4835), [Akane Tendo](https://anilist.co/character/669), [Kyoko Otonashi](https://anilist.co/character/4745)), Kagome can be extremely sweet, but can also become very dangerous when provoked. 

[InuYasha](https://anilist.co/character/1353) wears a special bead necklace (known as the Beads of Subjugation) which only responds to Kagome's command: when she yells "Sit!" ("Osuwari!") (Often "Sit, boy!" in the dub) InuYasha is thrown to the ground. The necklace was placed upon him due to his dangerous attitude when he was unsealed. 
As the series continues, Kagome uses the necklace less and less. It is scarcely used by this point in time, and is purely comedic relief when it is.

When Mint was a child, she would show her dancing to her older brother. But one day, her brother was taken to a prestigious school. They never spoke to one another much afterward. Besides that, Minto had a wonderful childhood. She used to see her parents often inside her home before they became focused on work. Mint was learning Ballet as a little girl and was becoming a very good dancer. She had many recitals and shows. She was a starter ballerina but soon became a Prima Ballerina. 

Mint was initially depicted as spoiled, snobbish, and self-centered because of her wealth (like most rich girls), but is later shown to really be an empathetic and loving person who cares deeply about her friends.

She idolizes Zakuro Fujiwara, who frequently influences Mint's decisions as a Mew Mew. Zakuro is also one of the few people Minto is nice to the most.

Mint is, despite her relatively small size, extremely headstrong and can be very powerful when cooperating with her teammates. She enjoys dancing, particularly in the style of ballet. Her favorite food is French food and scones. She slightly dislikes common food (i.e. fast food, canned food, etc.) but will eat it if given to her.

Minako is the fourth member of the Sailor Team to be discovered by Sailor Moon, and serves as the leader of the Guardian Senshi who protect her. She uses love-related powers. In the manga and anime series she dreams of becoming a famous idol, whereas in the live-action series her character is refactored to already be a celebrity. Silly or serious, Minako consistently displays great confidence, enthusiasm, and leadership skill. She is the "owner" of Artemis, the white guardian cat who introduced her to her life as a Senshi. He lives in her home (as Luna lives in Usagi's) and is one of her closest friends.

Chibiusa's real name is actually Usagi, but she is nicknamed Chibiusa to distinguish her from [Usagi](https://anilist.co/character/2030/Tsukino-Usagi). She is usually very upbeat, extroverted and outgoing. Though she started out socially awkward, she quickly became popular with her classmates in the 20th-century.

Mima started her career in the pop idol band CHAM which she quit to embrace a career as a drama actress.  Mima-rin is the nickname she is often called by her fans.

A thirteen-year-old apprentice witch, leaving her home village to spend a year on her own. She has no visible magical abilities other than communicating with her cat and broom-flying (at which she is still a novice). She is excitable, innocent, and by turns eager and shy. Some of the earlier concept drawings of Kiki closely resembled the original longer hair illustrations by Akiko Hayashi. It was eventually decided to cut her hair short due to the extra difficulty for animators.

Emily is first shown in Episode 19; Series 1, she is shown to be quite snobby and stuck up. She does not like trash talk, as she jumps to the challenge when Tyson exclaims that he is just as good as those trained in the PPB corporation. She beats Max in a small beyblade match showing the strength of the All Starz in that match.   She is the only girl of the All Starz team. Emily relies solely on science to help her team beat their opponents. She uses a tennis racket for a launcher in the first season. Blair Flannigan, known in Japan as Rei Saotome (早乙女レイ, Saotome Rei), is an underage student who also happens to be the only girl in the Slifer Red dorm. Initially a minor character appearing in a stand-alone episode during the first season, Blair joins the central cast at the beginning of the third after proving her worth as a duelist. A playful cat with powerful magic that Soul and Maka initially confused for a regular witch. Her life seems to largely revolve around doing whatever she deems fun at any given time, ranging from working as a hostess at Chupa♡Cabra's to aiding the DWMA's plans - however, she's also very sensitive to others' feelings, often comforting those in need out of kindness. 
She's also shown to enjoy long baths and exhibitionism, being very proud of her human form's body and often looking for opportunities to make others feel embarrassed. 

Her magic abilities are themed around pumpkins, and she also keeps a hat monster named Zwan (ズワン) as her familiar. Due to being a cat, she has nine lives, which is how she managed to survive her initial defeat at the hands of Soul and Maka. Additionally, her charms seem to transcend gender-altering magic, with her male form being able to seduce a succubus within the Book of Eibon.

Meiru is the operator of the cute Net Navi called Roll, and is Netto&#039;s best friend and next door neighbor. Meiru is very serious about her schoolwork, and also takes time to practice the piano. Usually where Netto is, Meiru is usually following.

A princess of the Cagliostro family. Clarisse is kind to everyone and admired by many of Cagliostro’s citizens. She is engaged to be married to Count Cagliostro against her will, since their marriage will enable the Count to claim the fortune of the Cagliostro family.

A young woman who specializes in the art of healing, Otsuru is an excellent cook and adores fireworks. She is the one who discovered Afro in the shrine after he lost the Number Two headband as a boy, and took him to Sword Master's dojo where he befriended Jinno. When she is introduced as "Okiku," she has once again found Afro in a near-death state (having been blown off a cliff by an RPG fired by Brother 6 and badly poisoned by an arrow in a fight with Soshun); she bandages him and takes him to her home to heal. She and Jinno survived the attack that was meant to claim the Number Two headband from Sword Master, and they were both saved by the Empty Seven Clan.   Apparently, some time after the events at Sword Master's dojo, she became an agent working for Brother 1 of the Empty Seven Clan. She possesses the unique ability to siphon memories from people as they dream and did this to copy down Afro's sword style to be used to complete the Afro Droid. She was also supposed to kill him should the opportunity ever present itself, but she finds herself unable to after having sex with him. She remarks that she still thinks of him as the same innocent boy she knew so long ago, revealing to him that she is actually Otsuru. Brother 2 of the Empty Seven then kills her for failing to carry out her mission and betraying the Empty Seven. Otsuru apparently had a strong emotional effect on Afro as seen when in Episode five Afro calls out her name twice in his grief over the friends that he has lost. Horohoro's little sister, who trains him in a similar manner to Anna's training of Yoh. 

Though not shown in the manga or anime, the author has stated that Pirica's partner spirit is Torara, a Marimo or Torasanpe as said in the Ainu language. Torara was said to have saved Pirica from drowning at an early age, and since then they became partners.

The smallest and youngest of the group who tends to interact with Yoh&#039;s group more than the others. A sweet little girl with a crush on Lyserg Diethel, in Millie&#039;s past she was rejected by her mother.    Somewhat impulsive and a little cocky, Millie is frequently seen in the company of Ellie. Together, the two of them are the first of the Lily Five to appear before Yoh.    She uses a slingshot as her medium. She&#039;s very shy, and is afraid of Ichigo and Uryū Ishida because they never smile, though she did bring Uryu one of her torn dolls so he could fix it during one moment. Like Orihime, Michiru is also a victim of Chizuru Honshō&#039;s advances.     She&#039;s found asleep along with Chizuru during the &quot;Fake Karakura Town&quot; arc, but unlike Chizuru, she never wakes up during the entire crisis.

She is not very courageous and gets scared easily by devils. Kobeni is shown to easily crack under pressure and break into tears during serious moments. Even though Kobeni is timid, she is pretty talented as a devil hunter. When Kobeni gets into action, she has proven to be cool-headed and efficient in battle, only breaking down in a panic once the fighting is over. Kobeni chooses to keep her devil contract a secret.

Ilona Molnár is a voice actress and dubbing director. Her brother is a voice actor too. Her career started in the Palladium Drama Studio when she was 9 years old. 
Most people know her as Mary from Little House on the Prairie. She also voiced Daenerys Targaryen (from Game of Thrones), Ahsoka Tano (from The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Kagome (from Inuyasha) and many more.
