Kubota is an army Intelligence Officer and former colleague of Aramaki. He often provides Aramaki with inside information. He appears to be of the same JGSDF Academy Class as Chief Aramaki, and appears to have equivalent rank (Colonel), though he is also interested in advancing his career politically, often handing unpleasant tasks over to Section 9 in order to prevent blame for &#039;dirty business&#039; being officially attached to his record of conduct.

A member of the Yang fleet who specializes in fleet maneuvers. 

Grandfather of Kouji Kabuto, he is the century's authority on robot engineering and Photon Power research, as well as a great inventor. He built the robot Mazinger Z for his grandson, as a way of making up for causing the accident that killed his parents years before. According to Juzo this robot would allow Kouji to do as he pleases with the world, even ruling it as a God or destroying it as the Devil. 

A reclusive mad scientist who created the robot Black Ox. He is calm and very knowledgeable, but unfortunately uses his talents to create dangerous robots. In the original version of the 1960s series, his name is Dr. Black Dog.

Professor Kronecker is Anna's professor of Law at the Heidelberg University
