The middle Paper Sister, Maggie is claustrophilic and loves reading almost as much as her elder sister Michelle. She is tall, quiet and prefers male clothing. Therefore she's sort of intimidating at first, but in fact is quite shy and kind hearted. Her paper specialty is defense and summoning of various paper "elementals".

Meia Gisborn, at first, has the behavior of an Amazon; she detests men and is disgusted whenever Hibiki saves her. She rarely smiles (only doing so a few times on the first season and the second season,including the time she smiled when she had to babysit Ezra's baby, Karu,and during the final fight with the enemy), suffers from claustrophobia, and has a traumatic past. As a young girl, the life support systems on her home quadrant failed, and there was a mass evacuation with not enough lifeboats. She lost her parents when they pushed her aboard the last ship off the quadrant among the crowd. Alone, she resorted to a life of crime and street fights to make a living, due to the insecurity she felt from people blaming her parents for the catastrophe. She joined the pirates when Magno Vivian appeared and tossed a laser ring to her asking her to join them. With a new will to live, she gained ranks quickly. As squadron commander, she leads the other Dreads in battle, and is usually called "leader" or "chief" by others. Everyone appreciates her and normally tries to throw a surprise birthday party for her. However, she despises such occasions and once she flew off in her Dread to scout ahead of the Nirvana, just so that she would not be irritated by the crew. When her Dread unites with Hibiki's Vanguard, they become the Vandread Meia-type (White Wing), which resembles a silver eagle. Its main, and only known form of attack is a high-velocity ram, that pierces nearly all enemy units in its path. Magno even comments that of all the women on board the Nirvana, Meia most resembles Hibiki in terms of temperment and personality. In her quarters aboard the Nirvana, Meia keeps a jewelry box (a present from her "O ma") filled with a few keepsakes and a family photo that she managed to save from her home.

Excel&#039;s junior officer, with a penchant for dying and reviving in quick succession.  She is noticeably Ilpalazzo&#039;s favorite officer, usually receiving lighter punishment and higher promotions than Excel. Hyatt is a rather innocent, naive and sensible woman, often serving as the agent that thinks things through more as opposed to Excel who seems to act on impulse.  Although she is rather oblivious to IlPalazzo&#039;s mild romantic interest in her, she is well aware of the more rampant romantic intent of their neighbour, Watanabe, who knows her by her alias of &quot;Miss Ayasugi&quot;. Mimiru is a Heavy Blade, described on Helba Gate as a tough-it-out-through-anything, devil-may-care fighter who is poor at planning things out and following through on them. She is the first player to meet Tsukasa, and later tries to form a bond with him in order to protect him. She usually hangs out with Bear, trying to solve the mystery of Tsukasa's inability to log out.

He is a kindhearted magic user. Half Japanese and half Irish and, he initially joined the Japanese server to be more close to his mother&#039;s culture (from the AI Buster 2 manga). He is American, but visits the Japanese server where the others play, because he felt it was one of the best ways to learn the Japanese language. Shugo thinks he is a girl, but he is a boy in real life (shown in .Hack//Legend of the twilight offline meeting). On his first visit, he met Sanjuro, who taught him about his name, and became his friend. He is often confusing words or using common Japanese phrases, and sometimes adding unneeded &quot;-desu&quot; to his words. He loves all animals, which can sometimes be a problem for his party members (He just cannot attack the monsters). He nurses a Grunty back to health with the help of Shugo, and keeps it as a pet. Later named Puchiguso-san (in the anime), he normally is found hanging off of his cap. His class type is Wavemaster; his avatar is similar to Elk (.hack game series).[1]

This curvy, provocative, presumably - harmless girl is more than what meets the eye. ready for action, Okoi is always up for anything...from bear hunting to taking the Iga head - on by herself. But, her dangerous bravery may be her Achilles heel. After she's captured by the Kouga's cardinal enemy, trapped in a storehouse and waiting questioning, Okoi uses her looks to her advantage. When her enemy Rousai draws near, desperately wanting to take advantage of her voluptuous curves, Okoi sucks the blood from his pores during the moment of contact. After killing Kako Isao, she completed his battle. Chizu was relatively calm and a bit quiet, yet particularly disgusted by the one-track minds of her male classmates. Her chair was black and fancy, carefully designed, shapely, and looked very old. While at school Chizu was in love with her teacher, but was being deceived. He lured her into a date and then blackmailed her to being gang-raped by his friends. For this reason she began to carry a knife with her at all times. During the combat she revealed she was pregnant and used Zearth's power to kill all of the men who assaulted her except the teacher, because her older sister, who was in love with him too, stopped her. After her death, the rest of children figured that Chizu's baby (who died with her) was also listed in the contract, which means that one of them, besides Kana Ushiro, was not bound to it.  Just like Kako's story, Chizu's scenario had a lot of changes in the anime version. She was seduced by her teacher just like in the manga, but instead of being blackmailed by him, he sold some pictures of them having sex which ended appearing on the internet. Despite having the faces digitally altered, they were identified by her classmates, which led to him being punished by the school's principal. He begged for Chizu's forgiveness, and just after she accepted his apologies, she discovered he was also dating her older sister. After Kako's death, she was chosen to assume his place. Just like in the manga, Chizu tried to kill her teacher using Zearth, and was stopped by her sister, but the rest of the children just discovered about her pregnancy and the fact that one of them is not bound to the contract after her death, when Moji witnessed two slits blackening out from Zearth's face, representing her and her baby. The female protagonist. Raised as the heir to the powerful Tennouzu Group. Has the ability to transform people infected with a mysterious virus into euphorics (people with supernatural powers related to their innermost desires).

The Ame-warashi is also known as a rain sprite or rain maker. She is a proud, high ranking spirit/sprite who has a very hostile attitude toward humans due to the fact that &quot;humans have no care or regard whatsoever with living nature&quot;. She comes to Yūko to ask for the service of Watanuki to save someone at a park containing hydrangeas. In the anime, she is portrayed as a good, protective friend of the Zashiki-warashi.    She also has the ability to detect differences in characters and likely special abilities, as implied by her ill feeling of Himawari and the &quot;refreshing&quot; or &quot;pure&quot; scent she detects emitting from Dōmeki. She appears again with the Zashiki-warashi to see Watanuki and remains hostile towards him, though she also makes a cryptic remark as to Watanuki&#039;s true nature.    Her hair in the anime is red, however there are colored Clamp pieces that show her hair as blue. The concept of an Ame-warashi is based on a spirit from Japanese folklore.

Rosé is from the city of Lior in a remote region of the East. She was a devout follower of Cornello's teachings because she felt that he would use his powers to bring her boyfriend, Kain, back to life. Instead, Cornello created a talking parrot chimera to mimic Kain's voice. When Rosé discovered this, he locked her in the room with it, using the incomplete Philosopher's Stone to get it to attack her. Al saved her, and together with Ed, they discredited Cornello.

__In the 2003 anime:__   ~!After Cornello's plan had been exposed and with her hope shattered, Rosé was forced to start over and persevere through hard times when the military intervened in Lior. Rosé was imprisoned by the military. When she is next shown, she is free and has a child. It is unknown how she got it, though it is implied that she was raped while in military custody. Scar uses her as the symbol of hope for the people of Lior, referred to as the Holy Mother. Later, seeing Edward paralyzed at the sight of Sloth, Rosé gets her voice back and uses what he told her before to snap him out of it. She became targeted as Dante's next vessel with the new Philosopher's Stone. Dante hypnotized Rosé, and her baby was used by Dante to open the Gate. While she's kept with Dante in the underground city, Edward finds her dancing alone in the ballroom under the trance. While the two of them are dancing, Rose tells Edward that she had been waiting for him. She then tells Ed that she loves him. Edward blushes and pushes her away, asking if she knows what she's saying and that they're "just friends". It is unclear if Rose said it under Dante's "hypnosis" or genuinely loves him. (In the Japanese dialogue, Rosé doesn't tell Ed that she loves him. Although, it is somewhat implied she might say it and Edward pushes her away and asks if Al was brought there.)  Edward's death breaks her trance. At the end of the anime, Rosé and her child appear to have moved to Risembool, living happily with Winry and Pinako.!~  __In the 2009 anime:__   ~!Taking Ed's words to heart, she helps to rebuild the town, eventually reuniting with Alphonse Elric. She makes a comment on how she is depressed that Ed is not with them, admitting that she has really missed him and that she wishes to see him again. This causes Winry to become slightly jealous, something Al catches and taunts her with. Lin Shaolee in the manga Took over as number X after his predecessor, Ash, was killed by Creed. Before entering the Chronos Numbers, his idol was Train Heartnet, due to his unique style of completing his missions. A master of quick-change and disguise, his nickname is "The Magician." His weapon, "Seiren", is a hagoromo, or a feather mantle, that is lined with orihalcon wires. This allows it to block attacks, or cut through metal with its edges. He plays a major role in two distinct parts of the story: The first one is when he, under disguise, convinces Train to head for the Apostles of The Stars' hideout, as Sephiria thinks that the Cerberus team should have support from Train, not by helping them, but as Sephiria thought that Train would want to eliminate Creed when he saw him. Unlike Sephiria's plan, Train, upon entering the castle, leaves Cerberus and the Apostles battling withouth making an intervention, and only rescues Rinslet. Also, in the Sweeper Alliance part, Lin disguises himself as "Grin", a character which is the founder of the Sweeper Alliance and plans to take the sweepers to Clarken Island to eliminate Creed, but actually he wants to use them as a diversion so that the Chrono Numbers can actually attack the headquarters unexpectedly. He created a video game that he distributed to every sweeper, which contained various intellectual and other tests, and only those who passed it should know the address of their final meeting where they would depart for Clarken Island.  (Some of the Source: Black Cat manga volume 11 between chapters 95 and 96)  Lin Shaolee in the anime In the Anime, Lin did not appear until the Sweeper Alliance, and his role was different: He merely summoned the sweepers and granted them a place in the trip to Clarken Island instantaneously. He also attempted to persuade Train into rejoining Chronos once his identity had been revealed, a scene which occurred in the anime (Ep 17). He also shows a "darker" personality in the Anime, as in the manga he was an innocent Number who admired Train and just wanted to fight for world peace, but in the Anime his admiring for Train is more directed to "admiring his power", and he has no problems in offending the sweepers many times. He also accuses them of fighting without receiving nothing in return, which makes him sound a bit materialistic. But it seems his personality evolves as he shows a more sympathic side, which appears to start when he says, precisely, that sweepers are idiots for fighting without getting anything in return, but after a chat with Train, when they're helping townsfolk, Train asks him if he isn't one of those fools, and he answers smiling "You might be right".

Usada, or Rabi~en~Rose, is revealed to the viewer to be Dejiko&#039;s rival. Her nickname may be a play on a number of things. &quot;Rabi~en~Rose&quot; may be a play on the common French saying &quot;La Vie en Rose&quot; which means &quot;life in rose-pink&quot;. The Japanese expression &quot;spend a life in rose-pink&quot; means to spend a life without any worries. &quot;Rabi&quot; which resembles the English word &quot;rabbit.&quot; replaced &quot;La vie&quot; to form a pun to mean &quot;Rabbit in life without worries,&quot; which suggests her personality. Her original name is Hikaru Usada, which resembles Hikaru Utada (best known in the West for her theme songs for the Kingdom Hearts series) but that was officially commented as a mere coincidence since the story and names were decided before Hikaru Utada&#039;s debut in Japan. Her &quot;Usada&quot; surname also is a pun, as the &quot;Usa&quot; part is a shortening of the word &quot;usagi&quot;, which means &quot;rabbit&quot; in Japanese.     In the original anime, she is seen as a normal girl who uses dice to transform into her bunnygirl outfit: a pink, white and red dress with large white rabbit ears and a large round cotton tail. Her parents left her to live on her own in an attempt to help her become an idol. Rabi~en~Rose does not end her sentences with a rabbit sound (typically pyo in anime) and is the only character with kemonomimi animal traits in the Di Gi Charat franchise not to do so.

She is very competitive and always is trying to start something with Dejiko. In some of the manga stories, however, it is shown tthat she really just wants to be her friend, and this is hinted at in various ways, often ending in a comedic gesture.

A member of the Devee Tribe which are yellow humanoid creatures that wear pots for hats. Nene poisoned the entire Devee Tribe of Lago Village except for Marumaro and told him that if he retrieved a special elixir from the Ancient Hospital Ruins, that Nene would supply a cure for the Tribe. Marumaro first appears in a Drill Machine on the way to the ruins. When he first encounters Shu, Kluke and Jiro, he is intimidated and fights them. When the ship reaches its destination, Marumaro runs away to find the cure. At the Hospital Ruins, Shu saves Marumaro from the Icefire Wolf Ghost and then helps him find the cure. As they return to Devee Tribe, he gives the tribe the cure and the effects are catastrophic. He soon discovers that Nene tricked him to make himself more powerful and is forced to cure the tribe with a new antidote much more difficult to find and then joins the group afterwards to get revenge on Nene. He has tendency to end his sentences by saying "Maro".  In the anime, Marumaro is obsessed with girls (he also acts like a pervert in the original version, and his actions often end up angering Kluke and Bouquet). He joins up with Shu and Co. after the village he was staying at was destroyed and its inhabitants were captured by twin Shadow users Ivanov and Gustuv. Two years later, Marumaro is back in his village until Noi reawakens his shadow. Upon joining up with Shu and Bouquet, Marumaro develops a competitive rivalry with Noi.  He owns the shadow Saber Tiger who uses monk charged attacks In the anime, Saber Tiger thinks himself of as a defender of justice and encourages Marumaro to feel the same way.

Another self-proclaimed hero worshipper like Joe, only younger. He lived in Blue Town, which was named after Captain Blue, serving as its protector Captain Blue Jr. Despite his jealousy for Joe being Blue's successor, Junior decided to become Joe's sidekick and offered his knowledge of Movieland as a helping hand. As the series progresses into the Gedow arc, Junior received the V-Yoyos from Captain Blue, assuming his new superhero outfit via the phrase &quot;Henshin-a-Yo-Yo, Baby!!&quot;

The only female of the YOUKAI-NINGEN. She admires for a human being, and craves for becoming one herself.

She usually goes to a prestigious school “Cent Joseph high school” located in Upper town, hiding her true identity under the name “Annabella” and enjoys the school life with her classmates. For her, this is an effort to get along with human society when the time comes to her to become a human being. 
Because she faces the fact that YOUKAI-NINGEN is different from other human being, she does not have a strong prejudice against humans, but is often hurt by that very fact.
She is by nature an expressive person, but because she is usually with silent BEM and BELO, she does not talk a lot.

She gracefully handles a whip which is hidden in her right arm. She also has a special ability to handle a freezing air.

Judy Tate (Mizuhara in the Japanese) is the mother of Max Mizuhara and coaches the PPB All Stars.
