A third-year student at Senriyama Girls' High School in North Osaka and the protagonist of the manga "Toki". She was named one of Senriyama's ace players for the 71st Inter High School Mahjong Tournament despite being a relatively unknown player prior to it. She's a very sickly and unathletic girl, and is often seen lying face down in her teammate Ryuuka's lap.

~!Toki possesses the ability to see one round into the future, predicting the draws discards of herself and her opponents, allowing her to call __riichi__ immediately prior to take advantage of the win bonus. Aoi performs some emergency repairs, though, and the three head back down.  The three of them, plus Kaede, eventually forms a circle of friendship through their common interest.

A girl that was on the verge of death due to an unknown disease. Her life was extended with the help of the Blue World's technology and in exchange she has to fight together with the Z/X against the other worlds. Her shy character gives her the feeling of an adult that does not talk much. As her daily life is so near to death, her attachment to staying alive is much stronger than anyone else.

An angel/ghost who takes over Mitsuki's body and tries to make sexual advancements towards Yuuya.  Hiyori is the lost spirit of a girl who died but can’t reach the gates of heaven and reach eternal peace.

Midori Fuse is Nagisawa Shoma's partner. She is a cat type who is known to have cat ears under her witch hat which she is ashamed to show to others besides Nagisawa. This is due to her animal factors from the Gastrea virus which can strongly affect the body of the host. Nagisawa seems to have established a very strong trust to Midori.

Yui Ogura is an idol, actress, singer and voice actress (seiyuu) affiliated with Clare Voice. She is one of four members in Team Dekaris along with Kaori Ishihara, Arisa Noto, and Maho Matsunaga. She was one half of J-Pop duo [YuiKaori](https://anilist.co/staff/195974/), along with [Kaori Ishihara](https://anilist.co/staff/105217/) before the group disbanded in 2017.
