The main protagonist is a student in his first year of high school. He is an avid videographer, and is constantly out recording things. Others sometimes refer to him as "The Director". He's seemingly aware of Tanigawa's feelings for him, nonetheless he seems to have a genuine interest for Ichika. He has day dreams of conversing with Ichika and talks out loud sometimes during them. This may even lead to misunderstandings in a comical sense.

Shidou, Mana and [Kotori](https://anilist.co/character/65263) can't remember much about what happened 5 years ago because a certain "Spirit/person" locked their memories away, and at that time Shidou met [Origami](https://anilist.co/character/65261) and helped her which was the cause as of why Origami fell for Shidou.  Once the power of a Spirit is sealed within Shidou, he has the ability to use some portion of it, thus his resurrection power is from Kotori's abilities when he sealed Kotori's Spirit 5 years ago.!~

A first-year regular of the Touou team, Sakurai is the team's Shooting Guard and 'Pre-Emptive Strike Leader'. Able to release the ball very quickly in the midst of a jump shot, opposing players find it almost impossible to effectively time a block to his shots. For this reason he was given his nickname by Imayoshi, as it allows the team to very quickly begin the game with an unexpected and nigh-unblockable three point shot. He possesses a very weak and delicate personality, frequently feeling blame for things that he cannot even control and apologizing for them frequently and comically.

Te no me is a small yokai of the Nura Clan. He has a weird-looking forehead and his eyes are located in his palms. As one of the yokai who travels with Rikuo to Kyoto, he spends much of the ride snacking and drinking sake with Ko Oni, Sannokuchi and Natto Kozo.

The Kaimei High School baseball club&#039;s reserve pitcher who is questioned as a potential suspect in the &quot;Glass Man&quot; investigation. He appears to be in a relationship with the club&#039;s manager, Sakiko and promised to take her to Koushien. He has very poor aim and silently practices his pitching every morning despite not being a regular on the team.

The sole member of the badminton club, Taichi is a very serious person. He is also the student assigned to guide When around school on his first day. Taichi is also good at singing.   ~!There are hints that he develops feelings for Sawa.!~

Shinichi is a thoughtful, compassionate high-school boy whose hand is infected with a Parasite. Shinichi is repeatedly put into difficult positions. He must find a way to peacefully coexist with Migi, the Parasite which has taken over his hand, and reconcile his desire to protect humanity from the Parasites with his desire to keep his own Parasite a secret in order to avoid being killed or used as a laboratory specimen. Like a superhero with a secret identity, he must also find a way to explain away his Parasite-fighting activities, as well as the stress and grief they cause him, to his friends and family. Shinichi&#039;s retention of a human mind, emotion, and sensibilities causes other Parasites to see him as a threat. He and his Parasite must defend themselves from attacks by other Parasites, and their ability to think and act independently, and as a team, gives them a tactical edge over normal Parasites.

He is a track team member currently in rehabilitation. It shows that he may have feelings for Touko.

Furuya is a right-handed power pitcher who throws a fastball and forkball. His main objective is to improve his stamina and control. Eijun Sawamura is his rival.

Souji is an ordinary high school student, though, he has obsession of twintails. One day, a girl called Thouars approached him as monsters appearing one after another, claiming him to be only man with the most potential of using Tail Gear, and entrusted him one to fight the monster, by transforming into Tail Red.

Next door neighbor and childhood friend of Takeo, as well as his classmate. Because Makoto is so handsome, all of the girls Takeo liked ended up falling in love with Makoto instead. Makoto is always watching out for Takeo and is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for his friend.
