With people who do not know or understand her well, Hotaru is extremely shy and socially awkward, due to her powers and intelligence, but only at first. With her close friends and family, she is a sweet, gentle, young woman with great warmth and spirit. She tends to be independent, having been alone and taking care of herself for quite some time. Hotaru grew up very much alone, sick, and an outcast, shunned by her classmates who were frightened of her. It was not until she met Chibi-Usa that she, at last, had a true friend.

Mistress 9 is a malevolent entity from "Tau Ceti Star System" who has come to Earth to help open a gateway for her master, Pharaoh 90. She is called the "Messiah of Silence" and possesses Hotaru Tomoe's body (to varying degrees of intensity).    ~!In the manga, the Death Busters are frequently striving to awaken Mistress 9. When the Death Busters first visited Professor Tomoe (as he was reconstructing his daughter Hotaru's body), one of the objects they gave him was an egg that contained Mistress 9. He implanted it within Hotaru's body. The consequence of this for Hotaru is a permanently frail physical state. She occasionally suffers from seizures that are soothed at first by an amulet given to her by Tomoe (he tells her it is an heirloom, but it is more likely to be a fragment of the Tau Crystal) and later by the Ginzuishou. When Chibiusa shows it to Hotaru, Mistress 9 becomes aware of it and later grabs it from Chibiusa, sending her into a coma. When Mistress 9 overpowers Hotaru's body, it becomes that of a grown woman. Her facial features are maniacal and there is little resemblance to the girl whose body she has taken over.   Her purpose is to create an opening to the Tau Ceti Star System so that Pharaoh 90 can access and assimilate himself into Earth. Once all of her allies have been killed and she is confronted by Sailor Moon and the Outer Senshi, her plan begins. Mugen Gakuen itself is ripped apart, throwing the unconscious bodies of Mercury, Mars, Venus and Jupiter into the air (they come to rest on a structure that Kaolinite previously used for divination). She then attempts to escape Hotaru's body (meaning that her power will be able to flow freely) but is surprised to find that the soul of Hotaru still exists within the body and is inhibiting her from leaving it. Nonetheless she swallows the souls of the Guardian Senshi whereupon Hotaru retrieves their Heart Crystals along with that of Chibiusa and escapes to return them to their owners. While she is doing this, Mistress 9 is able to leave Hotaru's body, ripping it apart in the process.   Her true form is of a gigantic monster with ghoulish head and an indistinct body. She absorbs all of the Senshi's attacks and opens the door for Pharaoh 90, who begins to smother the planet. Mistress 9 is assimilated into the lava (which presumably is Pharaoh 90) and just when all seems lost, Sailor Saturn rises from it. When she sets her Glaive into the ground, both Pharaoh 90 and Mistress 9 experience intense pain and paralysis. Saturn uses the attack Death Reborn Revolution to drain their power and they both rise into the sky to escape back to Tau. Saturn follows them and commands Sailor Pluto to seal the door forever. Pluto does this and assures that Mistress 9 and Pharaoh 90 can never reach Earth again. Interestingly enough, they are the only villains in the Sailor Moon manga to not only evade death, but essentially remain unharmed.   In the anime, Professor Tomoe allows Mistress 9 to possess Hotaru's body after a freak accident kills her. He himself becomes possessed by a Daimon named Germatoid, although it is unclear if Germatoid completely controls him or aspects of his original personality still exist. Mistress 9 occasionally controls Hotaru, sequences in which her eyes become blank and her hands sparkle with red energy. Strangely enough, the victims of these occurrences are usually Daimons sent to collect heart crystals for her. Eventually, she steals Chibiusa's Heart Crystal, rendering Chibiusa close to death, she becomes Mistress 9 to the shock of Uranus and Neptune, who are expecting Sailor Saturn. She kills the underling Kaolinite, and sends Germatoid after the Senshi. She then attempts to use a large machine (similar to the one Tomoe created prior to possession) to guide Pharaoh 90 to Earth so that he may destroy it. Sailor Moon tries to stop her and Professor Tomoe, now freed from Germatoid, attempts to reach her, still seeing her as Hotaru. She attacks both of them but is injured by energy emanating from the machine. Professor Tomoe takes her in his arms and Hotaru's spirit begins to respond. Mistress 9 attempts to subdue her once again but Hotaru's memories of both her father and of Chibiusa prove to be overpowering. The black star insignia on her forehead shatters, revealing the sign of Saturn beneath it. Mistress 9's body then vaporizes, leaving Saturn in its place.   Whilst in the manga Mistress 9's human form seemed only to be Hotaru's body contorted due to the presence of the entity, the anime Mistress 9's form seems to be her genuine body, somewhat similar to Chibiusa's transformation into Black Lady.!~

Megumi and Saki are extremely close. Megumi has always been there for Saki, and when he learned of his sister's powers, he, not wanting his sister to be the only &quot;weird one&quot; in the family, studied the art of curses until he finally mastered it. He and Saki both enjoy wearing black, because they feel &quot;calm&quot; in that color. He joined Saki in her predicament so that she would not be alone in her sufferings. Megumi's name is a small joke, for the name &quot;Megumi&quot; means &quot;blessing&quot;, while Megumi himself studies how to put curses on people.    

Megumi has never actually been seen using his power to curse anyone. When the Prince Yuki Fan Club attempted to weaken Tohru's defenses by finding and using Saki's weakness, Megumi joined his sister in scaring them away. His dark demeanor and his ability to &quot;guess&quot; the girl's names frightened them from the house. The next day, Saki mentioned that the girls would all be cursed in three days' time. While it seems possible for Megumi to do this, since he claimed that all he would need were the girls' names, the manga never shows what happens, so Saki could have been bluffing.    

Like his sister, he is also highly mature for his age, not only in intelligence and behaviour but as well as in sexual maturity, as Arisa states when he makes a comment how he came to her restaurant only to see her in a miniskirt: &quot;You know, you really don't act like a middle schooler; more like a lecherous old man.&quot; (This only happens in the manga.) Megumi, for his part, has been called the trio's &quot;bodyguard&quot; and seems to consider himself as such as he goes through a good deal of trouble to aid Arisa and his sister in their guarding of Tohru. Megumi seems to admire her very much and will do anything to help her.

Gemini or Gemi and Mini are Celestial Spirits and one of the 12 Golden Zodiac Keys. They possess the ability to mimic the appearances and abilities of others.

Millianna is one of Erza's childhood friends from their days as slaves working at the Tower of Heaven, and she worked as one of Jellal's minions for a time. She is an avid cat lover, having decorated her entire room with a cat theme; her love of felines is to the point that she refuses to hurt anything that even resembles a cat, even if she knows that it is not a cat.   ~!Millianna is one of the five team members representing Mermaid Heel in the Grand Magic games. Though she enters under a cape to hide her identity  She is seen wishing Kagura good luck before her match with Yukino. After Yukino mentions betting their lives in their match, Millianna is a little worried about whether Kagura will be okay. Though when the fight starts, Kagura easily gets an advantage and she says that the moment Kagura draws her sword it would be cataclysm  After the second day ends she decides to reveal herself to Erza and they immediately hug once seeing each other again after so long. Later they sit and have a chat. She mentions that Kagura is strong and how there is a chance that she may be stronger than Erza if she had gotten serious. She then reveals the reason behind the name of Kagura's sword and the real reason she decided to join Mermaid Heel. She says that like Kagura, she hates Jellal due to him making her a slave and that Jellal killed Simon, and therefore unforgivable!~  Millianna is noted for her cat-like appearance. She is an average tall woman who also has a curvaceous figure. She has cat-like ears, eyes, nose, and mouth, has brown hair tied into two ponytails and has whisker-like tattoos. She wears a yellow jacket with white stripes and black trimmings. She also wears a pink dress with a white bow tie on it and light-pinkish ruffles on the lower portion, a choker with a bell on it, and white leggings.  Prior to times-skip Millianna's appearance seems to have change throughout the years. Her hair is arranged in a messy way. She still retained her cat-like appearance still wearing a choker with a bell attached unto it. Her attire consists of a hooded cape, long striped leggings, evening gloves, tight and small shorts with a belt and boots. She seems to have no upper attire revealing her bikini top uncovered.  Millianna is a very cheerful, peppy person. She has a great love for cats and refuses to see them harmed in any way. She also tries to mimic a cat, from dressing up like one, to meowing. Nanami is Tsubomi's and Erika's classmate and lost her mother in a very early age. After that, she tried really hard to have a motherly image for her younger sister, Rumi. Because of that, she doesn't have time to participate in any of the school activities. Later on, she changes this habit, still taking care of her sister but also taking more care of herself as well, and enters the Fashion Club.

Seria is Kamijou Touma's senpai, a third year student going to same school as him and described as a genius. She's currently employed by Kaizumi Tsugutoshi as his adviser, one of the 12 members of the Academy City's Board of Directors. She's very knowledgeable in things happening on the Science side, knowing about Deep Blood, Imagine Breaker, and the Level 6 Shift project.

Personally she's very interested in Touma and his ability Imagine Breaker. To resolve the issue of governments and/or various other agencies from forcibly taking control of natural born espers, or 'gemstones' in SS2, to try and build another esper research facility (even though according to her the chance of them discovering a way before they end up killing the gemstones like lab rats is zero) opposed to Academy City, she proposed using the SISTER clones that's going through adjustment in various parts of the world to collect the 50 or so 'gemstones' and keep them under their protection. It is implied she made some sort of deal with Heaven Canceller in order for the SISTER clones to be mobilised.

She's also mentioned in passing in Volume 19, when GROUP needed an ally on the Board of Directors to fight against the Director after them they ruled out Kaizumi as a option, since Seria would not be fooled easily and might advise Kaizumi against helping them.

A student whom Dante likes. Following the rumor of a surefire love charm, she stole a pencil she thought belonged to Murakami, the boy she liked, but it turned out to have been Dante's.

The main character of Patema Inverted. She is a resident of a village that lives deep underground, and often challenges the rule that forbids leaving the village's limits. Throughout the movie, Patema is shown to have an inverted gravity in comparison to those who dwell on the surface, meaning she could fall upwards through the sky should nothing bound her to land.

Harumi, most known as "Harumin", befriends Yuzuko being that she is a "Gyaru in Disguise". As she isn't one of the students who have been attending the academy since Elementary School, she takes no interest in following around the Student Council President and often packs items within her cleavage. As an individual, Harumi is perky, caring and an overall good friend towards Yuzuko.

Formerly a friend of Himiko. She was beaten and raped by Yoshioka's friends after being drugged. As a result, she was forced to move away and partially responsible for Himiko's nomination.

At first glance, Megumi may seem like she'd be a sporty character, but her interests like makeup, fashion, and accessories, say otherwise; she has a better sense of style than most people do, and was a model before being scouted as an idol. She's a huge "people person" with lots of friends (and someone who can make friends easily), and hanging out with them (especially at family restaurants) is her favorite thing to do.

She is especially close with [Elena Shimabara](https://anilist.co/character/86155/Shimabara-Elena) and [Kotoha Tanaka](https://anilist.co/character/165576/Tanaka-Kotoha), the three of whom later form the unit Tri Star Vision. She also has at least one big brother.

She's a pretty normal high school girl, and uses lots of "~" and music notes in her speech. But she's not the kind of person that's irresponsible or does things halfway; she has a strong sense of duty. She can consider her situations and read the atmosphere well, as shown in her drama track. Matsuri apparently worries that she worries about her friends a bit too much. There's kind of a gap between her responsibility and her outer appearance. Megumi also has a mindset of "if it's for work, I'll do it", and doesn't really tend to gripe about having to do embarrassing stuff as an idol, even though her tolerance levels can be tested.

The princess and ruler of Amagi Brilliant Park. She is a very cheerful and positive girl often seen with a smile on her face. She cares deeply about the amusement park as she is seen being concerned about the future of the amusement park and willing to do anything in order to preserve it. 

~!Years ago, she was saved by a wizard who had been promised her in marriage. However,the King (Latifa's father) refused to keep his end of the bargain and tried to have the wizard executed. In revenge the wizard cursed Latifa with a spell that gradually removes her animus; a magical substance that all creatures from Maple Land require to continue living. However, as human happiness (or human animus) is a temporary source, she is able to draw sustenance from the park; albeit not sufficient for full strength, as she is seen to be permanently frail and weak. Her blindness in the novel may be derived from the same source.

Another effect of the Wizard's curse means that Latifa does not age normally. Upon reaching the 1st of August, the day that she was cursed, all physical changes and memories revert back to the previous year; meaning that she lives in a year cycle of being 14. Moffle explained that this has been happening for the last 10 years.!~

Tetra is one of the players trapped in the MMORPG Elder Tale. She is actually male in real life, but used a female Human Cleric-Idol character at the time of the Catastrophe and was thus stuck in it, though she seems to have adjusted to her new body and has not displayed any desire to change back to a male body. She is a self-proclaimed "Galaxy Idol," and has Equipment to fit the part, but is rather bad at singing herself. She was a part of the Abyssal Shaft Raid Party as a member of Light Indigo, but then joined Log Horizon near the end of the raid. She later joins the Shibuya Raid Team.
