Astro's cybernetic sister in the manga and anime series Astro Boy, as well as its many adaptions. She is a superhuman android with a naive, tomboyish personality.

She is the third robot addition to Astro's family, the first two being his parents. Uran is an extremely mischievous little girl who constantly lands her older brother in trouble. While lacking Astro's weaponry and propulsion systems, she is extremely powerful.

Like Astro, she is fully capable of experiencing human emotions (although she is somewhat immature), by being naughty or disobedient, even annoying.   

__2003 Series:__

Uran reappears in the 2003 series with the name Zoran, with a slightly altered look, including a more appropiate dress in order to appeal to more western audiences. She still retains her tomboyish personality and cheekiness, however is shown to be more adventurous (which instead often puts her in trouble). She is given the ability to communicate with animals and befriends a bird which she names Houdini, however is often jealous of her brother's powers (such as the ability to fly, as well as his popularity).

Remi starts off as the son of Mrs Barberin. When his father, having had one leg crippled in a work-related incident, arrives home for the first time in years it is revealed to Remi he is adopted. Behind his mother&#039;s back, he is sold to Vitalis, a travelling entertainer. Vitalis teaches Remi all about the world and how to handle the challenges it brings. Remi performs as &quot;The Foolish Servant&quot; in the plays the troupe performs.     ~! His real mother is Mrs Milligan, as he was stolen from the family at a very young age.     After Vitalis&#039; death, he briefly joins the Acquin family until tragedy strikes again. When the siblings are seperated, Remi travels around and acts as a messengar who connects the family by stopping by at each of their locations during his journey.    He is also joined by travelling companion Mattia after he leaves the Acquins. !~

This unnamed little fox is most commonly referred to as &quot;Kitsune&quot; by fans of the series. He falls in love with Shinobu early in the series and wants desperately to be acknowledged by her, but his cute demeanor and childish naivety make her oblivious to his romantic feelings.    He has the power to transform and disguise himself as others when it is convenient for him... however, since he cannot change his height, face, or voice, he never succeeds in fooling anybody, despite all his efforts. He is capable of human speech, but has a habit of making the noise, &quot;kon&quot;, whenever he gets exicted or frustrated - the noise that foxes supposedly make in Japanese.

He discovers the "Superbook" which can send him through time to visit the biblical eras.

He has a strong sense of justice, and will punish anyone he perceives to be a wrongdoer by transforming into an enormous, wrathful demon god. This demon god, known as a *Daikaijin* (大怪神, lit. “Great Mystical God”), bears a striking similarity both in name and appearance to the eponymous character of the 1966 tokusatsu film series *[Daimajin](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daimajin)* (大魔神, lit. “Great Demon God”).
