Kurogiri has a level-headed personality, which often serves to ground Tomura Shigaraki's immaturity. He is intensely loyal to both All For One and Tomura. He is very polite and well-spoken, even to enemies.

Goro is a former Olympic gold medalist for Judo. He participated in Japan's mixed martial arts tournament to determine the members for the country's King of Fighters team. Although he got far into the finals, he lost against Kyo and was bumped to third place.  A year later, he entered the 1994 King of Fighters tournament with Benimaru (second place) and Kyo. He eventually befriends his teammates and continues to enter with them.

On the day before the 1997 tournament, his mentor begged him to return to his professional Judo career. Goro agreed to follow his request after he finished his participation in the year's King of Fighters tournament. As was promised, he returns to the Judo circles and brings fame back to Japan. During his absence from the King of Fighters tournament, he finally married and fathered a son. Goro also became the mentor of his own dojo

Daimon always seems to have a very serious expression, and grunts a lot. However, he has a very warm heart, as he always takes his time to coexist with nature and immerse himself there. Anime: Chuck made his only anime appearance in Machoke, Machoke Man!. Ash and his friends met a man roughhousing with a Machoke. After following him, Ash discovered that the man was Chuck, Gym Leader of the Cianwood Gym. Even though he is the Fighting master, he gets tired easily as he is a little fat. His wife continually makes fun of him because of this. He is positive-minded and emotional and has a tendency to break out into tears if happy. His battle technique is to battle with his Pokémon to improve their concentration.   Later Chuck and Ash had their battle for a Storm Badge. Ash used Pikachu who got defeated by Chuck's Poliwrath. Ash then used Bayleef who defeated Poliwrath and Machoke.   It was later revealed that Brawly, the Dewford Town Gym Leader, used to be one of the many students of Chuck.   Manga: Chuck taught Blue martial arts and how to train Pokémon when the boy was very young.   He initially was training for a battle with Wayne in his first appearance. He then noticed something amiss when he found his sandbags and Wayne's jacket slashed, but then he met Suicune, and with help from Wayne. Jerome is one of three Stern Ritter to confront Captain Kenpachi Zaraki during the invasion's initial stages.
