Kaoru Hitachiin is a devious and childish first-year student who greatly enjoys toying with his fellow Host Club members, [Haruhi](https://anilist.co/character/18/Fujioka-Haruhi) and [Tamaki](https://anilist.co/character/19/Suou-Tamaki) (whom he often calls “My Lord”). He and his older identical twin, [Hikaru](https://anilist.co/character/22/Hitachiin-Hikaru), are “little devil” type hosts who put on an act of “forbidden brotherly love” (with Kaoru as the uke) to draw in their clients. Unlike Tamaki, the Hitachiin brothers are wholly calculating in their customer relations; however, this is because of their deep dependency of each other and a reluctance to let anyone into their world. Hikaru and Kaoru share a deep emotional bond, which was forged through a lonely childhood and through the fact that no one could tell them apart without looking at the parting of their hair (Hikaru’s hair parts to the right; Kaoru’s parts to the left). Since Haruhi is the first person that can truthfully tell them apart, they greatly treasure her friendship. Haruhi has stated that Hikaru and Kaoru have their differences, despite being identical twins. Of the two, Kaoru is nicer, more mature, and considerate of others.

Kanda Yuu is a main protagonist character and member of the fictional religious organization known as the Black Order, in the anime and manga series D.Gray-man, by Katsura Hoshino.  Kanda is a young and handsome Japanese man usually found in any mood that isn't positive.

Kanda comes across as cold, stoic, and arrogant, even to his fellow exorcists. In battle, he will do anything to win, sometimes at the risk of his teammates. He once made a sarcastic joke about leaving them to die. It is his opinion that exorcists are not saviors.  Yu, or Yuu, is Kanda's given name, though he dislikes being called by it or even introducing himself as such. He calls Allen "bean sprout" (モヤシ, moyashi, English Dub: "Short Stack"). Kanda seems to know Lavi, though he doesn't hesitate with his usual threats if Lavi calls Kanda by his given name. However, it is clear that Kanda does care for his fellow Exorcists and the Finders (whom he claims not to care about).  He tends to mask his emotions and often claims, "It's none of my business." In spite of his intentions, he and Allen are often at each other's throats and rarely see eye-to-eye on anything.   

Kanda's favorite foods are soba noodles and tempura (especially pumpkin, shishitou [a small, sweet green pepper], and lotus root). Kanda dislikes many things, to the point that "there are too many to write down". However, Kanda himself points out that he hates people with naive personalities, people who don't keep their promises, cursed people, people who can't keep their mouths shut, people who call him by his given name, and "sweet things".

As class representative of 2-C, Hanai takes his duties seriously, always trying to keep his classmates (especially the males) in line. Unable to have second thoughts, he always says exactly what comes into his mind regardless of the consequences. He is hopelessly in love with Yakumo, so strongly that she can read his mind literally from a mile away.    As a child, he was shy, weak, and always been bullied by other children. That changed with a little help from Mikoto, who has been his friend since that time. He attends the same dojo as her and has a black belt in Kenpo as well. He tries very hard to join the Tea Club that Yakumo is in, but is banned by Akira. Despite Hanai and Mikoto having their own love interests, characters around them sometimes think that they are too close to be just friends. Some of his classmates like Yuuki seems to have a crush on him.

Itsuki is the last member to have joined the SOS Brigade, having been recruited by [Haruhi Suzumiya](https://anilist.co/character/251/Haruhi-Suzumiya) as a "mysterious transfer student". Itsuki is constantly smiling and always speaks in a formal and polite manner. He is also prone to giving long and detailed explanations, usually illustrated by exaggerated hand gestures. Itsuki's fondness for speculation often causes him to produce explanations for situations involving the SOS Brigade, its members and related events. Itsuki only tends to share these explanations and theories with [Kyon](https://anilist.co/character/252/Kyon), and also enthusiastically plays different kinds of board games with him to pass the time, despite losing all the time, although Kyon suspects that he may be doing so on purpose. 

~!Itsuki is an Esper, and was sent to observe and keep Haruhi emotionally stable by a mysterious group known as "The Agency", in order to protect the rest of humanity. Although he is an esper, which is exactly one of the sorts of people Haruhi desires to meet, Itsuki never reveals himself as such, at least, not to her. Despite the theory he advances in which Haruhi is the equivalent of God, Itsuki says that there are many differing lines of speculation about Haruhi within "The Agency." Itsuki himself does not believe in a singular God, nor does he regard Haruhi as such, although he reveals that he has colleagues that do. Apparently, most of the questions that he raises about Haruhi's true nature are philosophical in nature and do not necessarily represent his personal beliefs. Itsuki also reveals that the majority of "The Agency" advocates observing Haruhi instead of doing anything that might provoke her.   

Out of the three Brigade members, Kyon is the least fond of Itsuki. He often finds himself annoyed with Itsuki's plastic smile, his willingness to acquiesce to Haruhi's outrageous schemes, playful teasing and his various forays into his psychological and philosophical theories. He is also distrustful of Itsuki's intentions, comparing him to [Yuki Nagato](https://anilist.co/character/249/Yuki-Nagato) when it comes to deciphering his expressions.!~

The snake of the zodiac, and big brother to Yuki, Ayame is vivacious, garrulous, and has a knack for making Yuki and Kyo angry. He runs a business that makes women's clothing, which men apparently wear as well, and he often wears women's clothing himself. He named his shop after himself and runs it with Mine, who is later revealed to be Ayame's girlfriend and the seamstress of the store. Ayame designs the dresses, erotic as some or all of them may be. Vain and somewhat self-conscious, he is really a thoughtful person underneath his "selective" skin. He has gorgeous gold eyes and silver hair in a startling contrast to Yuki's violet and grey. His fear, coincidentally, is a fear of being totally alone. Much to Yuki's chagrin and surprise, he was actually the student body president in high school. When Ayame was young, he did not care for Yuki at all until he realized that when he got older, he would be totally alone without Yuki, spurring his new obsession to gaining Yuki's love shown in the series. Yuki has slowly started to accept Ayame as a brother.

Master Mage Clef is the man appointed by the Pillar of Cephiro to lead the Legendary Magic Knights to help finish the legend. However, on the very first time Clef and the Magic Knights met, he was turned into stone by High Priest Zagato. Even so, he still helps them out. He has a very good and nice personality. In the second series, Clef is helping to guard the palace from invasions by neighbouring countries. He almost lost his life when he used a strong spell to bring back all the Magic Knights from Lady Debonair and Innova.

Fans claim "he comes off as a 'badass' kind of guy", because of his apparent lack of emotions, dedication to finish what he is working on as soon as possible (his eagerness to stop helping people he feels he doesn't have to help), and his 'coldness' towards people he doesn't know. He is partly an anti-hero throughout the entire series. The only time his attitude changes is when the subject of Azalie is brought up. He will do anything for Azalie, as when they were younger, she had tutored him and gave him the confidence to get as far as he did in the Tower of Fangs. He and Azalie were brought to the school because it was believed that they possessed a strong amount of magical power within them. This proved correct; Orphen was a magic-prodigy. Orphen eventually becomes the greatest sorcerer in the world. Orphen keeps his feelings and the story about Azalie to himself at first, but opens up later in the series. One of the Hachiyō, he is the Seiryū of Earth. Tenma is Akane&#039;s classmate and friend, who is pulled into Kyō with her. At first, he was separated from Akane and Shimon but then finds her accidentally quarreling with Yurihisa. In the middle of the series, he admits to Akane that he likes her and will protect her even if it costs him his life. When he asked Akane if she likes him too, Akane did not answer because of some unknown interruption. Then, Tenma told Akane to forget about what he said and he ran away.

Ayato is a student and artist who lives with his mother, Maya Kamina in Tokyo. Most of his artwork shown in the series consists of drawings or paintings of a girl on a cliff looking towards the sea. He has birthmark-like symbols on his belly that resembles runes, which are revealed to be a sign of his being a potential instrumentalist for the mysterious giant godly being called the RahXephon.

After being taken from Tokyo by Haruka and the RahXephon, Ayato moves in with Shougo Rikudo, Haruka's uncle on Nirai Kanai. At first, this arrangement does not sit well with Ayato, as Haruka and her younger sister Megumi live in Rikudo's annex, but they slowly adapt to each others' presences. As a stranger from Tokyo Jupiter, Ayato struggles to find his place and acceptance in the outside world. Although he pilots the RahXephon in defending Nirai Kanai, he questions his abilities and self-worth. He also struggles with trying to piece together and understand his relationship with Haruka, handling the feisty Megumi, and interacting with the other TERRA personnel, who regard him with a broad spectrum of reactions, from acceptance and friendship to cool scientific interest to distrust and even contempt.

Suzumi&#039;s brother-in-law, the adopted younger brother of Suzumi&#039;s deceased husband. Early within the series, he wears a headband enhanced with tennyo magic made by Suzumi which helps to designate him as Aya&#039;s bodyguard. Yūhi has unrequited feelings for Aya. Though attracted to Yūhi, Aya ultimately comes to see him as a close friend, and Yūhi is able to accept the fact that Aya only has eyes for Toya. Tenka is from the tiger family of the twelve Zodiac Masters and initially comes to assassinate Kōshi. As he is from the tiger family, he carries a lot of traits with his personality that are akin to that of a feline such as being aquaphobic, and liking to play with round objects. He always carries around with him a soccer ball which he nicknamed "Becky" which seems to talk to him. It is interesting to note that Bekki has spoken to Tenka since early childhood, 'her' voice maturing just as he matured. Tenka has a crush on Momoko based on a time when they met as children, when he defeated her during a training match and they agreed to meet again. Unfortunately for Tenka, while he assumed they would meet and marry once Momoko had grown stronger, she intended to meet and have a death match.

Koichi Kimura is the final member to join the team. He was chosen to wield the Spirits of Darkness that hold AncientSphinxmon&#039;s power.

~!He is Koji Minamoto&#039;s twin brother. Their parents divorced when they were very young, so they hardly knew about each other. Koichi learned about Koji when his grandmother told him on her deathbed. He ran after Koji, who was on his way to the Digital World, to try and catch up with him but he fell down a flight of stairs and ended up in a coma as a result. His mind was taken into the Digital World by Cherubimon, who saw his sadness.!~

Naoki Shinjyo is a highly successful two-time European F3 Champion before making the switch the Cyber Formula racing after being scouted by Aoi Formula boss, Kyoko Aoi. After passing the Japanese qualifying rounds he makes his debut in America during the 2015 season with high hopes for both him and his team.


He is the guitarist of Blast; attended the same high school as Nana Osaki. He is friendly and optimistic, but at times, he tends to miss the focus of conversations around him. Before Nana&#039;s &quot;smoking ban&quot;, he&#039;s the only non-smoking member of Blast. But, his poor threshold for alcohol meant that he leaked many secrets while he&#039;s drunk (most notably, about Nana and Ren&#039;s relationship to Shin). Like Yasushi, Nobu comes from a rich family (his parents own an inn). Despite this, he is still very passionate about music, even sharing Osaki&#039;s dream of making it big with a band one day.   ~!He falls in love with Hachi and they start a short but happy relationship. When Takumi tells Nobu about her pregnancy, Hachi painfully leaves him for Takumi. The leader of the Mu race. Soldier Blue is reaching his limit, and wants Jomy to carry on his burden and lead his people. He is over 300 years old and was the first Mu that was noticed by humanity. He was the first "type blue" - hence the name. This means he is much more powerful than the average Mu.

Among the members of Section 9 he is regarded as one of the least cyberized. He can handle any automatic firearm with deadly accuracy and precision, but his primary role is as the unit's tactical sniper. His left eye was replaced with the "Hawkeye", a prosthetic eye that interfaces with satellites to allow for shots of incredible accuracy. Daisuke is the part of the main force behind the Special Services Bureau. Quite often he prefers spending his time defending the streets and avoiding any paper work involved (hence a running joke of him &quot;not turning in his reports.&quot;) Although he never really shows it, Daisuke is quite compassionate and has a strong sense of justice. However, he has deep and painful memories of the vanishing of his mother and his father (a politician) being murdered by an android. The only memoir of his father is a bullet pendant he wears around his neck.

__PERSONALITY:__  Seta Soujiro is Shishio Makoto's right-hand man, a teenage assassin trained by Shishio himself. Soujiro is known for his lack of kenki or, simply, emotion. He possesses no anger and cites no fear in his enemies, other than with his sword. Soujiro is often seen smiling and has polite manners, always referring to others with Japanese suffixes. He is sarcastic, hiding his true emotions behind his smiling face. He however does have a special relationship with Yumi, she being a sister figure towards him. Soujiro usually dresses up in a blue kimono with white handguards.
__BACKGROUND:__~!Soujiro's constantly smiling face and polite manners stem from his tragic past. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture during the first year of Bunkyū (1861), Soujiro is an illegitimate child. Sōujiro's father left him in the care of his family, who badly mistreated him. He is assigned chores such as carrying rice to and from the family warehouse, and whenever he faltered, he was beaten by his family. Soujiro built a defense against their lashings; he put on a smiling face and endured the torture until they got tired of beating him and left him alone.  One night, he meets Shishio, who was on the run from the police. Soujiro witnesses Shishio kill some police officers and Shishio is about to kill him for it until he notices Soujiro smiling and therefore spares him in exchange for food and bandages. Shishio tells Soujiro that only the strong may live and that his predicament is his own fault for being weak. This new mentality, and a sword given to him by Shishio, determine his defense when his family finds him housing Shishio. Sojiro quickly finds himself cornered by them, attempting to murder him and blame his death on Shishio, and lashes out, killing every one of them at the age of eight.!~  
__TECHNIQUES:__ ~! Soujiro''s apparent lack of emotion, his simple, insensitive mentality that the strong will live and the weak shall die, and his skills make him a formidable foe for Kenshin. As a master swordsman of his own style, Soujirou's abilities have earned him the nickname of "Heaven's Sword" (天剣, Tenken?, Ten meaning Heaven and Ken meaning Sword, "Tenken" means swordsmanship of natural endowments). His shukuchi utilizes such powerful speed that, to an observer, it appears that the distance between the two fighters has shrunk (hence the name shukuchi, which means "reduced earth").  During his fight with Kenshin, Soujiro continually states he's only moving "three steps below shukuchi" or "two steps below shukuchi." While moving at the speed his shukuchi utilizes, the only thing that can be seen is Soujiro's footsteps ripping through the tatami mats. During "one step below shukuchi", he is able to attack from an omnidirectional angle, utilizing not only horizontal but vertical space.[5] While performing true shukuchi, he completely disappears and cannot be seen, even by Kenshin. Soujirou can dodge the Kuzu-ryūsen (九頭龍閃?, lit. "Nine-headed Dragon Flash"),[6] a move which apparently cannot be evaded even by Kenshin himself. Soujirou is also the first one ever to slash Kenshin in the back in the series.  Soujiro is also well versed in the Battōjutsu style like Kenshin, as is evident when he decides to use a stance similar to Kenshin's and when he destroys Kenshin's first sakabatō. Combining the true speed of shukuchi with the Battōjutsu, he has created his only named technique, Shuntensatsu (瞬天殺?, lit. "Instant Heaven Kill"), meaning "immediate killing by heaven's sword". The youngest of the five brothers of the Ran family. He is eighteen years old. It is said that, out of his four older brothers he was the most worthy of the name Ryuuren Ran because he is a genius. He calls his older brothers foolish and doesn&#039;t call them by their name, rather: Shuuei = &quot;foolish elder brother the fourth&quot;. Recently, he&#039;s called Shuurei, Soul Friend #1, and Eigetsu, Soul Friend #2 (He refers to Yougetsu as Soul Friend #2.5).    He does things on his own time and is quite impulsive: when he was going to buy ingredients for chicken stew with Shuurei, he ended up buying soy beans, then he traded that for boiled eggs, then traded the eggs for spring onions, then the spring onions for wood blocks, then flowers, then fish, then straw, and then he gave away the straw to a little girl and just ended up with one stalk of straw. Later in the series, he goes ghost hunting after hearing about a late-night ghost. He also pulls out his flute and plays it without warning, often off key. Since he can&#039;t be easily told what to do and is very unpredictable, he&#039;s necessary in the Ran family. Although, because of this behavior many find him weird and annoying, so they usually distance themselves from him. Shuurei was the only one who put up with him, so he said that she&#039;s now his soul friend. Also according to Kurou he is also a candidate for Shuurei&#039;s political marriage. A baker by trade and a former apprentice to Dumas. He is a friend of Roya and Zed. He is given Dumas&#039; Spirit after Dumas was killed and had serious difficulty controlling it. He seems to be romantically interested in Pino, a maid of Rob&egrave;s.    Mikki seems to be a childhood friend of Roya. Mikki makes his first appearance in episode 2, in which he elaborates on his will to live up to the expectations of his sensei, Dumas. Mikki works hard every day within a field-like area, accomplishing simple tasks with Dumas. After Dumas was forced to be rid of his house, Mikki takes him to live in his family&#039;s abandoned house with Zed and Roya. This is when Mikki decides to start baking unique style bread as his new occupation, as to attain money. Other than baking bread, Mikki attempts to regularly become stronger as a Shard Caster, but seems to always fail in this endeavour due to having a kind and gentle heart. After Mikki later hears of Dumas&#039; death, he seems to go insane. He kept striving for more power as to quell his suffering about how he could have been able to save Dumas if he had been stronger at the time. This insanity was caused when Rob&egrave;s had handed Mikki Dumas&#039;s Spirit. This seems to be a primary factor within the ways of the Spirit. Mikki later recovers from this and returns to baking.    Later, Mikki decides to give up shardcasting and devote all his time to baking. He admits that he has more skill at business than fighting. As if to reinforce this notion, Mikki&#039;s bakery has become so popular in Templer that he has recently opened a branch store. Pino and another of Rob&egrave;s&#039;s maids have quit their job at Rob&egrave;s&#039;s mansion and are now working for Mikki full-time.    Mikki&#039;s Spirit: Mikki&#039;s Spirit&#039;s name is Arumadoru. It never accomplishes anything within the series due to being rather undisciplined, which reflects Mikki&#039;s weak will. Mikki attempted to use this Spirit when training with Roya, along with battling at the Joust tournament. He has Slaguna, Dumas&#039; old Spirit which Rob&egrave;s gave to him as a memento, but never used it in any battles other than when he was controlled by it.

Shuji’s best friend. Atsushi is a mature, open, down-to-earth guy who holds a fascination for the military. Atsushi always looks out for others, as can be seen during the Sapporo raid where he's desperately trying to keep his friends out of harm's way. He decides to join the JSDF to protect the girl he loves, Akemi, despite being aware that she will never love him back

Holder of the Blue pacifier. Colonnello is in charge of the training ground behind Mafia Land and was a former member of the COMSUBIN, an elite Italian Navy unit. Colonnello acts like a rival towards Reborn and vice-versa; they would often consider each other&#039;s attacks weak and then proceeds to attack the other. Though they are rivals, he shares many traits with Reborn, like being a merciless tutor, suddenly taking naps, and having a sharp tongue, he also finishes his sentences with a &quot;hey&quot; at the end. Being a former military member, Colonnello is not averse to using heavy artillery; he was able to destroy an entire fleet of ships with one anti-tank rifle. This fits well with his name as it means &#039;colonel&#039; in Italian. Also, an eagle on top of his head helps him fly to distant places in a short amount of time. It also seems to be in sync with Colonnello: when Colonnello naps, the eagle naps. During the Vongola Tournament, he becomes Ryohei&#039;s home tutor and actually lives in his house. In the future, it is revealed that, as an adult, Colonnello followed the original seven Arcobaleno on the day that they were turned into babies in an attempt to take Lal&#039;s place. This resulted in him attaining the blue pacifier meant for Lal, and consequently turning Lal, who was his former instructor in the COMSUBIN, into an incomplete Arcobaleno.      ~!However, he is said to have died, with a Millefiore member, who was formerly known as &quot;Ginger Bread&quot;, claiming that he died trying to protect Viper.!~

Kazuto is the male protagonist, an average middle schooler who falls in love with an alien girl. He has a kind personality and is also an otaku who likes a magical girl anime series, Yongo-chan.
