Lashara&#039;s personal escort, charged with protecting her life at all costs. She also attends the Holy school to complete her Seikishi training. She&#039;s very skilled at combat, and is able to imitate Kenshi&#039;s unusual Seikijin fighting style after only seeing it once. She has a crush on Dagmyer, which causes her to ignore clues regarding his schemes until it&#039;s too late. She frequently gets upset with both Kenshi (due to his cluelessness) and Lashara (due to her seemingly-reckless schemes), and Chiaia&#039;s temper is one of the few things that Lashara seems to be wary of. While not happy about it, she agrees to go along with Lashara&#039;s scheme to hide the fact that Kenshi is the Seikijin pilot that tried to kill her. Her Seikijin is pink and red with a fox-like tail.    She tends to get exasperated with Kenshi whenever his fixation with crystals comes up, and calls him the &quot;Boss of the Koros&quot; for his habit of digging up the ground for crystals. Chiaia at first tends to regard Kenshi as a nuisance who might make Lashara look bad, but after a while becomes a sort of big sister figure to him, and later on she becomes romantically attracted to him, though she never admits it out loud.  Seraphim, "Sera" for short, is a well-endowed vampire ninja (吸血忍者, Kyūketsu-ninja) who combines her Tsubamegaeshi secret sword technique (秘剣 燕返し, Hiken Tsubamegaeshi?) and ninja reflexes with her vampire powers to fight her enemies. She is able to form a pair of bat wings and a katana out of several leaves.  As a vampire, she periodically requires blood to stay alive, and can anesthetize people with a kiss in order to numb the pain from neck bites. She does this with other girls, since kissing a boy would symbolize marriage in her cult's rules. She comes to Ayumu's house to serve Eucliwood, though when rejected, she ends up being Ayumu's servant in hopes she can change her mind. She is rather cold towards Ayumu, constantly calling him a "piece of shit" (クソ虫, kuso mushi?, lit. "dung beetle"), though has a healthy respect for his combat abilities.   

~!In later novels, she seems to be developing feelings for Ayumu, slowly becoming more of a tsundere than when they first met.!~

They are very loyal to Franky, and go with him everywhere. Mozu is the sister with the yellow bikini top, yellow slacks, and straight edged hair. They have a tendency to mimic Franky's reactions. They often walk sideways in high winds, due to the fact that otherwise their hairstyles would cause them to be blown back. During battles, they fight with samurai swords, but are not especially powerful, as Franky and Kalifa easily subdued them. They both also have a tendency to add &quot;Waina&quot; too all their sentences. They've done that ever since they were young.

Canon enters the series in episode 11 along with [Michio](https://anilist.co/character/7825). The two are the ace Fafner pilots of the New United Nations' Human Army. She is an excellent and seasoned warrior despite her youth, a result of the war-torn life she has led.

She is originally from Dublin, Ireland, which was completely annihilated four years prior to the series. All her family slaughtered, she is taken in by Michio Hino, a Human Army soldier, who teaches her the ways of the soldier. Hardened by a lifetime of fighting, she now simply exists and follows orders, unable to act, decide, desire or do anything of her own will.  When she arrives on Tatsumiya, she is at first offended and then confused by the peaceful world she encounters there. Over time, though, she begins to understand and accept peace and wants desperately to belong there.

She becomes friends with Sakura and the other pilots and seems to develop some deeper interest in [Kazuki](https://anilist.co/character/1614). Canon represents the hope that mankind, despite having lived in a non-stop war for the past 30 years, can remember and return to a life of peace.

Canon pilots the Babylon Fafner (which is not a Nothung model like those on Tatsumiya), and later temporarily pilot the Mark Drei (III).

A  sorceress from Necessarius. Unlike her partner Stiyl, she uses magic to magically strengthen her body. Her sorcery name is Salvere000. She uses a 2 meter long katana (which actually is a Nodachi) called "Seven Heavens Seven Swords" as her weapon. She has a special attack called Nanasen (七閃, Nanasen? "Seven Flash") that uses her katana and some wires. She used to be a kind woman who treated Index like a sister, but when Index's memories were deleted by Necessarius, Kaori changed into a cold and silent woman as Index no longer remembered her and consequentially did not trust her. 

After Touma saves Index's life and her current memories, she decides to stay in Academy City to be with Index and protect her.  Later in the novels, more of her past is revealed. Not only is Kaori a skilled swordswoman, but she is a Catholic Saint possessing the "Stigma" — the ability to call upon God's power — and the former leader of the Amakusa Catholics. However, Kaori left the group as she resented that she had been fated since birth to become its leader, which led her to despise the concept of luck and fortune. Though she is Catholic, she joined Necessarius in hopes of changing her fate and befriended Index, developing a sisterly relationship with her. The repeated failed attempts to make Index remember her after each memory erasure resulted in her cold personality as Kaori began to accept that no matter how much a person tries, no one can change their destiny. She begins to show a kinder side to herself after Touma saves Index (thus giving her hope that anyone can defy their destiny) and gradually falls in love with him after he helps her face her past with the Amakusa Catholics, becoming more prone to showing emotion and sometimes showing a little embarrassment if she is with him. She is the protagonist of her own spin-off mini light novel bundled with the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun DVDs.

Tina is a television reporter who only appears in the anime series. She hosts the program that's at the end of each episode titled: "Gourmet News." While seemingly cheerful and humble on camera, she is actually an extremely determined, intelligent, and strict person who will do anything for a big story (especially ones involving Toriko), however like the rest of the folk born in the Gourmet Age, she has a great love of food and will sometimes lose her composure when in the presence of amazing dishes.
