Utena is a tomboyish, courageous and naïve character who lives to emulate the idealized prince figure from her childhood. She is forthright, honest, and friendly, and nearly all the girls in school adore her.

__Anime TV Series:__

~!Utena’s parents died when she was six years old. On that day she was wandering around, lost, and she fell through a hole in a fence that enclosed a river area. Utena nearly drowned but was saved by a mysterious Prince who kissed away her tears and told her that if she did not lose her noble heart, they would meet again. He left with her a rose signet ring (the Rose Seal as it is called by the duelists). She encounters the Prince, and -for reasons which eventually become key to the show's resolution- this encounter created in her the drive to become a Prince herself. Utena does not remember much of this encounter, and for the most part Utena herself does not clearly remember the full details of her history, until the very end. Later on, Utena receives picture cards that give her clues as to where her prince is. By following these clues, she finds herself at Ohtori Academy. Utena accidentally becomes a Duelist and wins Anthy as the Rose Bride. Though critical of the Duels for objectifying Anthy, her honest desire to protect Anthy as well as a drive to act like a prince lead her to become an active participant. As the series passes, her nobility is continuously tested, until she is finally forced to confront her own hypocrisy.!~ 

__The Adolescence of Utena:__

~!Utena travels to Ohtori Academy after supposedly breaking up with her past boyfriend [Touga](https://anilist.co/character/753/Kiryuu-Touga). It is also assumed that after her separation with Touga she was in an emotional turmoil that led her to the academy. However, she sees him on her first day on campus. Her hair is cut short, giving her more of a male's appearance, causing [Saionji](https://anilist.co/character/755/Saionji-Kyouichi) to initially mistake her for a boy. Additionally, Utena is a bisexual character, being coquettish with [Wakaba](https://anilist.co/character/6141/Shinohara-Wakaba) and does not seem to mind her more boyish appearance. She is extremely troubled by Touga's apparent abandonment of her, and her interactions with Anthy express a level of introversion not present in the anime series, though she also shows an unpredictable streak and is once physically violent towards Anthy in anger. This is said by fans to be Utena's adoption of a more masculine personality. Initially Utena's aim to be a prince is more subtle than prominent compared to the anime series. It is Touga's supposed abandonment of her that caused her to feel that she must be more independent and a "prince" by nature. Though she states that Touga was always the prince she wanted. The movie deals with her own metamorphosis in becoming a prince. Utena and Anthy seemingly swap personalities in the movie, and that Utena is the one who must be saved by Anthy. Their physical appearances also seem to mirror their respective series incarnations, seeing that Utena has wavy hair and Anthy has straight hair which was the opposite in the series.!~


A childhood friend of [Shinichi Kudo](https://anilist.co/character/1742); daughter of [Kogoro Mouri](https://anilist.co/character/1746), a private detective, and [Eri Kisaki](https://anilist.co/character/1744), a lawyer. Her parents got separated when she was seven, and one of her biggest goals is to get them back together. Her best friend next to Shinichi is her classmate [Suzuki Sonoko](https://anilist.co/character/1749), who constantly teases her about her relationship with Shinichi.

After Shinichi's disappearance, Ran met [Edogawa Conan](https://anilist.co/character/1742), who was introduced by [Professor Agasa](https://anilist.co/character/4162) as a "distant relative" and asked Ran if she wouldn't mind taking care of him at her house. She and her father practically adopted him; Ran immediately came to think of him as a surrogate little brother. Little did (and still does) Ran know that "Conan" is actually Shinichi.

Ran's greatest personality trait is that she genuinely cares for those she loves. She is also patient, kind, and nurturing. Like Shinichi, she highly values justice to the point of idealism. To avoid making Shinichi choose between her and his important case (really an excuse because Shinichi has turned into Conan and can't return), she has decided to wait for him to finish it, trusting his promise that he will come back despite their separation causing Ran a lot of emotional pain. Ran is also very hot-blooded and tends to act on impulses when the people she cares about are involved; the combination of jumping to conclusions and not hesitating to use karate on those who she perceives to have wronged someone has led to several "near-miss" misunderstandings. Early on, she would become violently suspicious if she thought Shinichi was philandering although more recently his confessions have led her to trust his intentions. Even though Ran is in love with Shinichi, she often fails to convey her feelings because she suddenly becomes self-conscious.

She can be very brave and resourceful when she wants to be and rescues Conan from trouble on occasion. However, she has an irrational fear of the supernatural and is thus - unlike her friend Sonoko - absolutely no fan of anything related to the horror genre. She also constantly tries to reunite her father and mother again - though with little success, thanks to the mutual stubbornness of both parents. Men also tend to pay her a lot of undue romantic attention, a fact that makes Sonoko somewhat jealous (and of which Ran herself is completely unaware).  Ran is very self-sufficient for her age. This is because her father is drunk, slovenly, and fiscally irresponsible. She handles many of the Mouri household's financial affairs and all the cooking and housework. She also ensures Kogorou doesn't slack off on his job, is on his best behavior for client meetings, and often greets and provides refreshments for potential clients.

Temari is the oldest child of the Fourth Kazekage, making her the older sister of Gaara and Kankuro. Temari is generally overbearing, if not crude, toward those around her, often not being afraid to speak her mind. One of the few things shown to intimidate her is her younger brother Gaara. She very rarely stays true to her normally tough, demanding attitude, when around the boy, due to the fear of Gaara's wrath. Temari does have a caring side, and is not above showing concern for others. She is often seen with Shikamaru. Temari is a keen analyst, and can easily deduce an opponent's strategies and weaknesses soon after a battle begins.  For actual combat she uses her giant iron fan that, in addition to serving as a makeshift club, can be used to glide upon in order to intimidate her foes. She likes sweet chestnuts and kenchin soup.

Perhaps the most reluctant of the bronze saints, Shun is the official Bronze Saint of the Andromeda constellation. He is a merciful soul by nature, and a firm believer in solving problems without causing bloodshed. This creates a sharp contrast between himself and the rest of the Saints: Whereas they will not hesitate to battle when the situation demands it, Shun only allows himself to fight if it's an absolute necessity, or when his almost endless patience wears off. When any of these things happen, Shun becomes an extremely vicious fighter.

Shun comes off rather badly in the Movies and 'Asgard' arc. In almost every fight scene, he almost always loses, and needs his brother Ikki to rescue him (except against Mizar Zeta Syd, the one time Shun defeated a foe in either the Movies or 'Asgard' story).

However, in the 'Sanctuary', 'Poseidon' and 'Hades' storylines, Shun comes off as a good, if reluctant fighter. In 'Sanctuary', he manages to hold his own against Gemini Saga, and even manages to kill Pisces Aphrodite, both of them Gold Saints. In 'Poseidon', he acquits himself nicely, defeating Io, the Southern Pacific Mariner General of Scylla, and Sorrento, the Southern Atlantic Mariner General of Siren. In 'Hades', he manages to dispatch various opponents. As a result, he comes off looking much better in these arcs than in the Movies or 'Asgard'; though he may be reluctant to fight, he will when he has to, and is just as powerful or skilled as any of the other main Bronze Saints (Shiryu, Hyoga, etc.)

Sena's overprotective and motherly childhood friend. Mamori's mother met Sena's mother in a cooking class, and Mamori and Sena have been friends ever since. Her mother is half-Japanese, half-American which makes Mamori 25% American and 75% Japanese. Mamori has been protecting Sena from bullies since primary school, to the point that Sena has grown up never having to stand up for himself. Mamori joined the American Football club to watch over Sena and prevent any bullying by the other members (particularly Hiruma). Despite her joining the American Football club just to protect Sena's claim, she eventually becomes an excellent manager who knows the rules inside and out and makes up strategies for the team (since she has trouble with computers, she does it all on paper—super-analog). She memorized all of american football rules in just 1 night and is able to answer Hiruma's question to the smallest detail. A lovely girl, Mamori excels in all her studies except art, which she is horrible at, and helped Sena with his high school entrance exam. She is also a member of the school's disciplinary committee. Though she is constantly butting heads with Hiruma, she eventually sees a softer side to the Devil Bats' quarterback.   Her favorite food is Italian food and creampuffs. She is kind of a "creampuff-maniac" since her personality drastically changes when the topic is about creampuffs (as seen in the anime and in manga chapter 206).

Eldest of the Tendo girls and is the most gentle of the lot. She has graduated high school and spends most of her day looking after the Tendo household, acting as the family&#039;s substitute &quot;matriarch&quot; ever since her mother&#039;s untimely death; by cooking, cleaning and helping her family.  Kasumi is portrayed as the perfect lady, with a very sweet, caring and self-sacrificing personality. Probably because of her extremely lovely nature, she is seldom affected by most of the crazy happenings around her and is wise in seeing through Nabiki&#039;s schemes.

Karin is the cynical and sarcastic daughter of Isshin. Compared to her soft-spoken twin, Karin is the more authoritative of the two. She is an excellent soccer player with a kick powerful enough to fight weak hollows. Karin's tough exterior results from her mother's death; because she could not be useful around the house like Yuzu, she resolved never to cry so that she would not burden her family with her personal troubles.  Karin is a sensible person and will not hesitate to kick her father in the head when she thinks he's acting unreasonable. She initially claims that she believes spirits do not exist, yet can see them just as well as Ichigo can. She can also sense them from great distances, which usually manifests as a headache. In spite of her attitude about spirits, Karin is willing to use her abilities to earn a little cash, such as her position as Karakura Red of Don Kanonji's Karakura superheroes. Karin actually knows that Ichigo is a shinigami and wants to know why he's suffering out of concern. Karin is a homonym for Japanese quince, a name of a fruit, which matches Ichigo's name being a homonym for strawberry.   ~!After the fight against Aizen, the story skips in time; Ichigo has then lost all of his Shinigami powers. It's been said that Karin's spiritual powers have expanded. She does not speak with Ichigo about her powers, claiming that her brother always suffered and protected the family and now it's her turn to protect him.!~

The amazing temptrest of the Yokai. She has lived for hundreds of years using her jutsu to make men of royal families fall in love with her. She is known to be the human form of a Fox and will do anything possible to get what she wants. Once Taikabo appears to take her to the Seninn world she begins an all out offensive against him and his allies.

Mukuro's perpetually gloomy younger sister. She has a fondness for Mugen that dates back to their days of piracy, though the feeling is not quite mutual. Koza isn't so much in love with Mugen as she is attached to him.    ~!This stems from her chronic dependency—she simply can't bear to be alone, which explains why she has remained with Mukuro all this time, even though he clearly repulses her. She devises a scheme to get rid of Mukuro and leave with Mugen, but as Mugen rejects her advances, she replaces him with Shiren. She neglects to inform Mugen what Mukuro has in store for him. After the ship Mugen is on explodes, she manipulates Jin and Mukuro into fighting, which ends in Mukuro's death. As she is leaving with Shiren, Mugen, having survived the explosion, confronts them and cuts Shiren down with a series of lightning-quick slashes despite being rigorously weakened. Hazuki is Doremi's childhood friend, and likewise, the opposite of Doremi. She is quiet, smart, and proper, not to mention that she also has a wealthy family. Hazuki sometimes feels insecure about her ties with her friends, and thinks she will lose them forever. (But Doremi reassures that they will be friends forever.)  One important fact about Hazuki is that she has an extreme fear of ghosts. Whenever there is mention of one, she'll scream, run around, and constantly shout Majorika's name.  Hazuki has no real love interest, but she has affection for Yada Masaru. Though she is the love interest of Fujio from FLAT 4, she doesn't appear to like him that way. Her family consists of her parents and her maid, Baaya.  Her enchantation spell is "Paipai Ponpoi Puwapuwa Puu", her Magical Stage's being "Paipai Ponpoi Shinayakani".   In the English adaption, her name is changed to Reanne Griffith in 4Kids Entertainment.  In Finnish, her name is changed to Sylvi Nevakivi in Ojamajo Doremi in Finnish on MTV3.

Mika Asagi is the unfortunate victim in the series. The daughter of Big Daddy and Maria, Mika grew up knowing nothing of her father&#039;s involvement with Millennion. It was only when Millennion came to kill her and her mother that she learned the truth of her past.      ~!Before Maria died she told Mika to find an old friend, Brandon Heat. Carrying a case that contained the twin guns Cerberus, Mika sought out Brandon Heat, only to find that he is now the undead killer Beyond the Grave. With his help, Mika may finally avenge her mother, but does she really want to fan the flames of death that surround her?!~     ~!She acts as Grave&#039;s caretaker and technician in the sequel to the videogame. She is a character whom looks quite innocent but has quite an ammount of strength and uses it on Mirumo, her fiance, whom is not too eager to have her as a fiance. She is also not very good at magic as it tires her out. She stays with Yuuki Setsu trying to grant his dream of becoming an author. Of which she is the fairy who can make dreams come true.

The youngest child of the Nohara family, born in 1996. A precocious and vibrant infant. While technically newborn, her character has matured and grown more intelligent during her stay in the series. She possess a palpable lust for shiny objects (jewels and precious metals) and brand-name goods. She emulates her mother in her utterly stubborn pursuit of handsome young men who catch her eye. Pandora was born in a rich family and was loved by both parents. One day she opened the box that was sealed by Athena and released Hypnos and Thanatos. She was told that Hades will become her brother and she must protect him until the final battle begins, if she would, they would grant her eternal life.

Sedusa can drastically alter her appearance by adding or removing makeup and is a master of disguise, which Sedusa was known for in the original Powerpuff Girls alongside her seductive manner. She takes the form of many people in order to get into stores and steal from them, including Bubbles and Buttercup. Sedusa is the alter-ego of the girls' friend, Sakurako. Sakurako works at a shop, well-known around the area for her desserts (Momoko, Miyako, Kaoru, Himeko, and Miss Bellum often visit the shop because of this). When working at her shop, she wanted to be sexy after seeing Miss Bellum. Sakurako has a crush on Souichirou, a boy who comes to her shop often; this was her primary reason for wanting to be sexy like Miss Bellum. In order to become Sedusa, Sakurako must use lipstick. With a little makeup, she can take on the appearance of anyone, although anything like the scent of perfume won't be masked. She, with her looks, is also able to coax many nearby males into doing what she wants (although it comes off more naturally than the original, since the original Sedusa had to disguise herself). She is also able to perform the original Sedusa's signature hair whip/tentacle attacks. She was defeated and later transformed back into Sakurako through the use of Professor Utonium's Chemical Z Particle Ray. Sakurako was able to win Souichirou's heart at the end of episode 8, although the two are still shy to each other. Sakurako later appears in episode 25, receiving flowers from Souichirou and she also soothes Here, a flower who fell victim to the black powder. Like Himeko/Princess, Sakurako can still transform into Sedusa at any time as long as lipstick is applied on Sakurako. It was revealed in episode 28 that the lipstick doesn't even need to be applied directly to her lips; she will still transform into Sedusa if it's smeared on her face. Like Sakurako, Sedusa loves Souichirou, but Souichirou, although generally nice to her, does not love her the way he loves Sakurako. In episode 45, Souichirou finds out about Sakurako/Sedusa when Sakurako decides to visit him at the college he attends. Upon finding this out, Souichirou confesses that he loves Sakurako but hates Sedusa. This confuses Sedusa to the point where she faints out of stress. After turning back to normal, Sakurako has no memory of what happened as Sedusa. The viewer also is introduced to a new side of Sakurako, her jealous side. Yui's best friend. She has a polite, calm, and caring personality.Her intelligence and innate ability with computers makes her a perfect candidate for Corrector, as expected by Dr. Inukai.From the beginning she was supposed to be a Corrector, but I.R. confused her with Yui, thanks to Grosser's intervention. 

~!When Dr. Inukai was passing Corrector tasks and abilities to her, she got manipulated by Grosser, who turned her into Dark Angel Haruna, but she was eventually saved by Yui. In the 2nd season, she again returns as a Corrector to assist Yui, first when Yui got petrified by infected insects, and later, when she helps Yui until the end of the 2nd season.!~ 

Curiously, she can use Element Suits more effectively than Yui.

Coming from a "common, nameless" ninja family, Rantarou is determined to become one of the best, elite ninjas. However, he often fools around with his two best friends Kirimaru and Shinbei and gets into trouble, often angering Doi-sensei and Yamada-sensei.

Rantarou has reddish, short and fluffy hair. He wears round glasses and has freckles on his cheek. In casual dress, he wears a green and light green spotted sleeves and blue-grey hakama.

Saloma is a gardener, and seems to run her own flower shop. She is also the owner of the Net Navi Woodman, though she does not Net Battle in public very often. She will lend a hand to Rockman and Netto though when they need help. Woodman comes in handy against Electrical Navi&#039;s because he can absorb their attacks. Saloma is a very nice and gentle girl, and is friends with Netto and the others. ^_^ She often is seen hanging out with Miyuki as well.     Saloma also contains a secret identity as a special Net Agent, known as &quot;Black Rose&quot;. Alongside with Miyuki and Masa (MiyuMiyu and Commander Beef), they fight against crime alongside Netto and the others!

She was born with the ability to tap into the &quot;Limpid Channel&quot;, allowing her to pick up the waves of consciousness in the air around her. By picking up the random thoughts of other beings, she is able to give useful, seemingly precognitive, information, though often in a cryptic manner. However, she was also born with extremely poor health, and she spends much of her time confined in a special chair, known as a &quot;Manage Machine&quot;. Officer Jenny is not a single entity. Rather, there are many Jennys working as police officers across the various regions of the Pokémon world.  Generally, Officer Jennies are brave and determined, but mostly ineffective in their police duties. They fight against the likes of Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua and Team Galactic - among other miscellaneous criminals. The town/region where a certain Jenny comes from can be discerned by the symbol on their hats which always differs depending on location.  Although Jennies appear mostly identical, there is some minor divergence among them, as evidenced by Brock, who is able to recognize different Jennies on numerous occasions. Brock appears to be the only character who can tell them apart. However, each Jenny has a different symbol on her hat that indicates location. There seem to be two Viridian Jennies, as during the Indigo League, two Jennies with the same hat symbol were seen side-by-side. (We know that the symbol in question--a star--indicates Viridian due to previous episodes.) One of the Viridian Jennies maintains a fierce rivalry with the Jenny of Eterna City. Although there are many exceptions, Officer Jenny will generally have Growlithe to use as a police dog.  There is a very distinct parallel between the families of Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy. This may indicate some sort of relation or deeper connection, and fans have sometimes speculated about such. However, the only thing known about the two families is that they are apparently on good terms.  Ash's Squirtle was given to an Officer Jenny who fights fires. It is the leader of a group of four other Squirtle known as the "Squirtle Squad", who serve as the local firefighting team.  A young Officer Jenny named Marble appeared in Luxray Vision!. She was in charge of looking for "The Bandit Beauties Three." She was also voiced by 西村ちなみ Chinami Nishimura in Japanese, but voiced by Meghan McCracken in English.  An Officer Jenny from Kanto appeared in Stealing the Conversation! with a Chatot as her partner. Apparently, she had come all the way to Sinnoh to capture Jessie, James, and Meowth.

Midori is a girl who lives in a Hidden Village located in the mountains somewhere between Hanada City and Kuchiba City.

Hannah is the maid of the Trancy Household. Hannah is loyal to her master, Alois Trancy, and is quite a mysterious woman. She seems to be quite a worried person, and is often seen with her head tilted down as a way of avoiding eye contact with others. She is quite obviously terrified of Alois, and is calm except for the moments in which he is speaking to her. In these moments, she is brisk, nervous, and will even tremble with fear.

Her first appearance was in Ditto&#039;s Mysterious Mansion. Ash and his friends were traveling through Kanto  when they sought shelter from the rain in an abandoned mansion. The house was actually called &quot;The House of Imite&quot; and it was owned by Duplica and her Ditto. She showed them Ditto&#039;s ability to to transform into any Pok&eacute;mon. A skeptical Ash sent out his Bulbasaur to battle Duplica&#039;s Ditto. Surprisingly enough, Bulbasaur lost against the imitation. Duplica then explained that her Ditto had trouble transforming one aspect of it: Its face. No matter what Pok&eacute;mon it Transformed into, it always retained the beady eyes and wobbly mouth of a Ditto.    Team Rocket kidnapped the Ditto. They wanted to have Duplica&#039;s Ditto Transform into a Dratini so they could give it to Giovanni. After a while, they were able to train it to Transform perfectly. After Ash, Brock, Duplica, and Misty dressed up as Team Rocket and rescued Ditto, Duplica felt she was ready to open up her mansion as a theater to entertain passing Pok&eacute;mon trainers.    Later, in Imitation Confrontation, Brock noticed that a Nurse Joy they were talking to was an imitation. It turned out to be Duplica, who had come to the local town for a Pok&eacute;mon Acting Competition. She had another Ditto, Mini-Dit, with another problem. It could Transform into perfect replicas of other Pok&eacute;mon, in every way but size. So when it transformed into an Onix, she had a tiny, hand-held Onix.    Team Rocket stole Mini-Dit and planned to have it transform into a Pok&eacute;mon that they could pass off as a rare, pygmy version, so that they could get a rare and powerful Pok&eacute;mon in return. Duplica recovered Mini-Dit and decided that its unusual transformations made it unique; the audience seemed to agree. Although Duplica sometimes performs by imitating Pok&eacute;mon herself, her usual shows feature her imitating a Pok&eacute;mon Trainer while her Ditto imitates that trainer&#039;s Pok&eacute;mon. She did an excellent impression of Ash and Nurse Joy, for instance.

Maren is a minor character from the second Pokémon movie. She was giving Satoshi, Kasumi, Kenji and their Pokémon a ride around the Orange Islands when a storm blew them off-course, and they were forced to land at Earthia Island.

She is a Mexican voice actress, best known for being "Official Jenny" in the Latin American Spanish dub of *Pokémon* and Mia Toretto in the *Fast and Furious* franchise.
