The viewpoint character of the series, Sakura is a high school girl with a crush on Nozaki, but when her confession is misinterpreted, she ends up becoming Nozaki's inker assistant. She is in class 2-A and a member of the school's art club. She is petite, and on her head, she wears two large ribbons that have a polka dot pattern, of which it becomes Nozaki's trademark of Chiyo and names a screen tone after her.

Sole daughter of the Moritomo family and a normal girl whose family runs the Moritomo Restaurant in Tokorozawa. The protagonist and a new recruit of the Hiroshi Town Propellers. A childhood friend of Masami who seeks to grow stronger on her own and loves her as her sister. Her favourite food is the Melonpan. She admires Masami so much and later becomes the Hiyoshi Town Propellers trainee.

Kurumi Ebisuzawa is one of the main characters of the Gakkou Gurashi! series. She is a former student at Megurigaoka Private High School and the primary "zombie killer"/strategist of the School Life Club, where her abilities prove invaluable.

Papi is the second girl to move in with Kimihito after she abducts him and almost dropped him while flying. She has difficulty with words which makes it difficult for Kimihito to understand what she is saying. She's childish, both physically and mentally, despite being as old as Miia.

Kirin is the top-ranking student of Seidoukan Academy. She is a shy and quiet girl who becomes the academy's top student as a 13 year-old and has not lost to anyone until Ayato challenges her a second time. She does not have a personal lux but rather carries a katana (Senbakiri) around as a weapon which often makes her greatly marveled by others as she tops the former No. 1 spot just by using a katana.

The female protagonist. Daughter of a prominent family, she lives alone and Youtarou watches over her. She loves the idea of heroes who fight for justice and never bow for anyone. For some time she wanted to be a hero herself, and trained every day. After she fell while training, Youtarou saved her in disguise. Since then she's adored her Knight Lancer, but doesn't realize the pathetic Youtarou is the same person. After some time, she decides that rather than becoming a hero, she will instead become a great Lady that Knight Lancer can be proud to protect.

Tsuguha is one of Bishamon's Ten Shinki. She transforms into Bishamon's bikini battle attire. Her vessel name is Shouki.

Asami is the new girl in Unit 8. She has been assigned to monitor Unit 8 due to their bad reputation and possibly to take steps in improving their activities. Like Sena, she is serious and prefers to stick to the law. She wears Oscar VI.

A second year middle school student, and a member of the art club.  She's the heroine of the story, and has relatively fewer problems.
She tends to display a calm and outgoing expression but may turn violent at times.

Her name, Re=L, stands for Project Revive Life. Her name was given to her by Rainer. She is a clone of her original self, Ilushia. While Ilushia has red hair, Re=L has blue hair. Her brother died when he attempted to convince Rainer to leave the organization. Unfortunately, Rainer, in return killed Shion and mortally wounded Ilushia. Glenn then saved Re=L and escaped with her, while Ilushia died.

Mizuki is Kaito's younger sister, and is a third-year student and engineer in A-TEC. A member of her class committee, she hopes to follow in the footsteps of her late parents and become an engineer. She is friendly and generally positive.

__Hardness:__ 6.5

A sensible and earnest gem who mainly does patrol duty. They're somewhat timid and has a hard time saying "no." They're insecure about their lack of individuality.

~!Benito is one of the gems who accompanies Phos to the moon. They reveal that the reason they wanted to go is to become special, as they think they're too average and normal.!~

A young girl who is Azuma's childhood friend. Her Bubuki is Raijoudou (ライジョウドウ), a completely sentient glove that is able to act on its own, which she nicknames Righty (右手ちゃん Migite-chan). Her Bubuki forms Oubu's right arm.

Like Eruna, Otone is a first-year student who eventually becomes a member of Eruna's club. She puts up a cold front towards others, but is often secretly lonely and bad at opening up to people, often living in a small house in the woods.

The Angel of Charity. Metatron can't refuse a person in need, but she's not very smart and has bad eyesight, so often her ministrations make matters worse and cause her elder sister, Sandalphon, to worry about her. Metatron's personality becomes sadistic when she's holding a syringe, and she gets an overpowering desire to perform extreme treatments.

Hina is a second-year student at Haneoka Girls' High School and is the guitarist of Pastel*Palettes. She is the younger, more bright-eyed twin of Sayo.

A natural genius with an impeccable memory, Hina can acquire and master new skills very quickly, often even with just one attempt. She is very cheerful and carefree, but her relaxed mindset also makes her unable to understand other people's emotions, and as such doesn't sometimes notice if she's insulting them. With this, Hina is also very candid, always being honest and sure of both herself and her actions, though at times she ends up being more blunt than honest.  

Unlike Sayo, who dislikes being a twin, Hina seems to embrace it. She is very supportive of her sister and loves her regardless of how she treats her, but they often get into arguments due to their conflicting personalities. To add to this Hina wants to do most things together with her, but this ultimately has lead to Sayo quitting most of her hobbies as she felt like Hina was just copying her and then always did it better than her, thus feeding into her inferiority complex more.
