Bellri Zenam is a cadet in the Capital Guard Academy, created to advance the protection of the Capital Tower. His prodigious talents carry him upward in the ranks quickly, earning a double promotion. He falls for Aida at first sight, and joins the pirates in their battle against the Capital Army. He is one of three people who can pilot the G-Self.

Lev is a half Russian, half Japanese. However he says he doesn't speak Russian because he was born and raised in Japan. His name in Russian means lion. Lev wasn't around when Karasuno and Nekoma had their first match together. He started playing volleyball in high school, that's why he was still a novice and spent whole time on bench at that time so he didn't come. Lev is blessed with natural physical ability, intuition and height. He declares that he's an ace even though he's a middle blocker. Kenma states that Lev is a good and honest guy.

Lev is quite childish and cheerful, shown when he was making fun of Hinata's height. Lev's appearance, as well as his piercing eyes, causes people to believe he is much more intimidating and serious than he actually is. Though he can be blunt, he never seems to mean any harm and adopts a playful attitude towards most things.
He is also shown to be enthusiastic about spiking as he gets excited about it very easily, and can be competitive with people he is interested in.

Chrono Shindou is the main protagonist of Cardfight!! Vanguard G. Before getting into Vanguard, he was anti-social, and wasn't interested in much of anything. However, since getting into Vanguard, his personality has undergone a complete overhaul. In his debut, he is unfamiliar with the Cardfight Vanguard card game due to it not being available to him at his Orphanage. His Vanguard Circle's colour is violet-red.
Chrono possesses above average luck, able to successfully activate Mystery Flare Dragon's skill on the first try.

It has been stated on several occasions that Chrono has a strong imagination, which is said to be a valuable skill in a cardfighter. As shown in episode 1, Chrono is capable of hearing the voices of beings of Cray.

Chrono possesses incredible athletic ability, as shown when he caught two fortunes with his head.

One of the prestigious professors at Babyls. He is the most senior professor currently known at Babyls, serving as the Teaching Supervisor of the Academy. He also teaches Demonic History and is the Homeroom teacher of Eiko's class. Together with Stolas Suzy, he is often seen as an Event Coordinator/Announcer of the school.
