Always wearing headphones and with a deep love for the culture, Riina aims to become the very definition of a rock star. However, Riina lacks musical knowledge and experience with the genre, so she often comes across as a bit of a poser. Despite this, Riina’s commitment to becoming her ideal rockin’ idol self is strong. She admires [Natsuki Kimura](https://anilist.co/character/120508/Kimura-Natsuki), and wants to become someone like her.

Riina doesn’t like portraying a more feminine image at first. She says she'd prefer a purely rock star aesthetic, but she can't help herself and gravitates towards more cutesy looks. In more recent cards, she's started to come closer to the rock star image she loves; even learning to play guitar under Natsuki's tutelage. Initially having Riina admire Natsuki, both of them developed a very strong and mutual bond towards each other over time and are quite often seen together.

Riina lives with her parents and seems to have a very close relationship with her family. Whether she has any siblings is unknown. In a Puchiderella line Riina mentions that at school she is fairly reserved, and she wants to her passionate side as an idol. Riina has confirmed that as a student, she is the type that crams before tests and then forgets the information afterwards.

Riina has been shown to be very insecure about her lack of guitar skills and often worries that she cannot become a real rock idol because of it. Even so, Riina always comes to understand that with the power of her straightforward enthusiasm and determination, she can still be rockin’.

Youngest of three daughters, her personality is much more like the free-spirited Mitsuko than Motoko. 

In Alternative, Professor Kouzuki is the brains behind mankind's last hope, Alternative VI. A world-renowned quantum physicist and integrative physiologist, at 17, she published a paper on her “Quantum Causality Theory”, working as the head of the Alternative IV head by 1995, before moving to Yokohama after Operation Lucifer. Despite her position as XO, it’s known that she calls the shots at Yokohama Base. With the weight of humanity on her shoulders, she must make cold-hearted decisions, manipulate and sacrifice the people around her to fulfill her dream of saving it.
